Incredibly unfriendly behaviour by the grey haired bar man (presuming owner) to our group of Irish friends. He seemed happy to ignore patrons standing at the bar trying to order drinks, and also said some inappropriate things to our group under his breath. Why run an Irish bar if you have no interest in people? Avoid

I am outraged at the service (or lack of) I received at this place. It’s my first time in France and have had a lovely time so far. I was recommended this bar by a local to play pool. Upon arrival, there was a tall old man playing the banjo, so I headed to the pool table. I stood at the bar afterwards waiting for service, but no one was coming to serve me. I waited a few minutes, and no one came. I worked out the man playing the banjo was the only bar staff there, and someone was recording his performance, so thought I would wait until he was finished. A group of students then came in and he served them their drinks, so I went to the bar, said “Bon soir”, and asked for a drink. I was ignored and he continued to play the banjo. Not sure if he had heard me or not, I repeated myself, and was ignored once again. I went back the pool table, finished my game, and when exiting, I said “Merci” and waved goodbye. I was completely ignored again. I am completely gobsmacked at the sheer rudeness and quite frankly, clear discrimination I received from this incredibly rude French man. I don’t understand why you would run an Irish bar when you clearly have people from the UK. Avoid at all costs.

Extremely rude service. They yelled at the customers and have no respect for people waiting for their beers and the bar men are extremely sexist. Some bar men are drunk during service and act inappropriately to customers.

Avoid this bar, owner is bit of a clueless closed-minded curmudgeon. The guy endlessly tried to preach about American politics and economy.. yet he has never lived there. He said, “CNN is an unbiased news source”. Enough said. 😂

Super nice pub with Irish beers! The bar is old, so, it gives a real feeling of traveling in time! Everything is clean and well maintained. We came to play some billard and were not disappointed! It goes well with some Guinness :) then, when it’s more crowded I guess billard players bother people around... barmen are really cool! They make you strong cocktails and put huge portions of beers.

Awful place. My sister and I tried to order some drinks and were totally blanked by the barman. He wasn't busy, he just decided to ignore us and not make any eye contact or speak to us at all. I had already put €2 into the pool table, so we played our game and left. (Halfway through our game, we tried to order drinks again, but were again ignored.) As we left the pub, we said "Merci" and were ignored once again. We have no idea why we were treated this way.

This is what a continental European person might like an Irish pub to be. It's a nice place, friendly and relaxed. Good drinks. Not too expensive. A lovely bar. But if you're Irish or British and you're looking for a "proper pub", this is definitely not the place for you (or me).

Last week, my girlfriend and I were being followed by a harassing man, so we ducked into this pub and explained the situation to the staff there. We were met with such kindness, understanding and hospitality. Wonderful people, great beers and lovely music too. Thank you for everything.

They took too long to take our order. We also had to sit down before they cleared the previous mess that was there which was a bit disappointing since they were not busy and the place was kinda empty.

Nice and really atmospheric irish pub. Good variety of beers, of course there is a wine and some simple cocktails. Sometimes here you can see here musicians, that play Irish music. We were lucky, and met there irish tourists, singing their songs in the pub

Great choice of whisky and a bunch of guys and gals sitting round a table playing guitars, fiddles, whistles and pipes.

Amazing Irish pub in the middle of Châtelet. Reached there via a random Google search and were glad we did. The bartender Alex was super friendly and the Jazz jam session just made our day. Clearly it's a place locals go to, and we spoke with a lot of them. Recommend!!

Staff was friendly and provided fast service despite a very busy Wednesday night during their Pub Quiz time. Beer was great!

Typical Irish bar. Music was a little loud and it sits at a busy intersection so prepare for the wonderful noise of klaxon. The owner does look a.lot like Donald Sutherland, but that is in fact not him 😆

Very warm small Irish pub, with a pool table ! Great location, right in the middle of Paris !

Quick and enthusiastic service, decent prices for drinks, and as an Irish person this definitely has the best 'vibe' of an Irish bar. When I was there there was a group of people playing traditional music together on their various instruments and it sounded lovely.

Small and friendly Irish pub in the very heart of Paris. Genuine Irish atmosphere - folk music, pool and darts. Smooth Guinness and Tayto crisps. Reasonable prices.

Lovely traditional Irish bar right in the centre of Paris. Great atmosphere as there was a traditional session taking place. We were served our drinks by an amazing young Irish man Jude who was really pleasant and really helped us to enjoy our experience. Well worth a visit.

The choice of beer isn't anything to write home about but you'll find a decent pint and a lively atmosphere there on a Saturday night.

Extremely terrible, the rudest and the sexist bartender on a saturday night! Do not go here ever. If you do not know how to behave, do not become a bartender. He was clearly drunk, had no respect for the customer, acted terribly inappropriate.

Every night they have terrible musicians in there and they tell you to absolutely not talk at all. It's very sad and unfortunate. Do not go there unless you want to sit in silence and listen to bad music.

You can’t talk in this pub because they are playing love music. Bar tenders are rude and will yell at you for talking in a low voice.
