Large Decathlon store, much bigger than the ones we have locally in Germany and the internet said they had the item we wanted. On arrival they didn't have the item but were very helpful and phoned other stores to find the item for us so that we could still buy it. We drove 10 minutes to the next store where the item was waiting with my name on it and once again very friendly and helpful staff. I cannot praise the staff at both stores enough for their helpfulness and politeness,, much better than the attitude of the staff in the German store in Baden Baden who really made it clear they didn't have the time for me last week when I tried to buy the item from there. Customer service in Germany is dead but it France it still lives on.

I like Decathlon but I feel the quality of the products is not as good as it used to be 10 years ago. The people are friendly and helpful. It is sometimes a bit complicated to get access to customer service but this is the case in almost all stores of this size.

Good prices, clear descriptions so you are sure you get what you need, and the possibility of testing before buying. Great for all kind of sport and leisure equipment.
