The saleswoman seemed generous and only wanted to give me 600 CHF for 32g of 18 carat, which would be a gold price of around 21 CHF per gram. Sounds like a rip off.

Cathy is awesome. Knows his stuff, is funny, charming, and looked great! Especially the eyes.... In addition to the fair assessment, I would go there again just because of them. Was worth more than the value for my goods. 🤣✌️

I walked into the store today with mixed feelings and a “modest” legacy. I experienced the advice as perfect in every respect. Competent, friendly, emphatic, prompt, the processes are visible at all times and fair remuneration on top of that. I can only congratulate Kaufgold AG on their dedicated employees!

The lady didn't seem very competent to me, she tested the rings for 2-3 minutes until she realized that they were real. I then received a very low offer. Then I moved on and lo and behold, I got around 20% more. thank you and never again

We were at the branch in Basel today. We entered the shop at 1:32 p.m. and were greeted warmly. As is normal decency. No response to the greeting. The lady noticed that we were a nuisance! When I said that I wanted to sell watches, she said yes and I put two more expensive brands of watches on the table. Really arrogant and without looking at the watches she told me they wouldn't buy anything like that! Then I said thank you and goodbye and there wasn't a word from the nice lady either! It may be that certain brands of watches are no longer popular and they don't fit into the range and you can't get into the shop, but friendliness and decency would be the minimum. Also in view of the fact that you might want to buy something again. That's why I can only recommend avoiding the branch in Basel. Nobody needs something like that.

Attention, extreme caution is required! I have a few old necklaces and rings that I wanted to sell. I got 3 offers and the lady in this store didn't even offer me half of what her competitors offered me. Of course you have to earn something from it, but I found the offer she made to me extremely dubious. My advice to everyone here is not to sell gold.

I had a bracelet repaired here today. They were very friendly, efficient and repaired it perfectly, and no cost! Highly recommend.
