Nice pub in Basel,all the sports etc, food looks ok, I know it’s Switzerland but 25 for a curry? I had 3 beers and to be honest they were all flat, you would not get away with it in England. Everything else is fine.

A proper Irish Pub on an otherwise touristy stretch of Basel. Friendly folk and good beer on draft. Lots of history inside and sports are always on the TV.

Good food and beer and a great place to hang out and play 🎯 darts! Friendly staff but expect some waiting to get your order. The salad was very refreshing and the chicken tacos can be better.

Went there a while back and the fish and chips was terrible. Half of it was inedible. Decided not to go back for a while. Went back yesterday (Tuesday) and rather than risk a meal I ordered the sausage and bacon baguette which was really very good. I was happy. I went back today, Wednesday, and ordered it again and it was terrible, really over-fried and dry. I could only eat half of it. I don't know if it's different staff or what but it'll again be a long time before I take the risk ordering food. The (female) servers are always kind and pleasant. Drinks are rather expensive (7 CHF for a soda) but you make that choice when you go in.

We wait more than 40 mins to have our food, we go ask and first they say we did not order anything. Then they find our food and they do not bring to our table we bring it by ourselves. Then we ask if the chips were included and the answer “read better our menu”!! Really?! Not the first time the same type of experience in this place. Never again honestly and I do not suggest anyone to go

Nice pub with good atmosphere, quite spacious inside even though facade suggests otherwise. Good beer selection (though a bit pricey), their house red ale is pretty nice. Can't say much about the food, though the nachos I ordered had a lot of cheese and very brittle tortilla chips so it was an exercise in frustration.

Was a properly authentic pub with a great atmosphere. The Pale Ales on tap were good and they tasted fresh which is a nice change as often on tap beer in Switzerland can be a little bit stale. We sat here for a good couple of hours and it was welcoming and fun.

We loved our quick visit on St Patrick's day! Good food, great service. Drinks were small and you had to order at the bar, but otherwise great experience!

Love this place. Great decor, all the food is great, amazing beers and scotches. A must stop for sure.

Great place for a pint. Staff are especially hospitable and constantly go above and beyond to make your visit exceptional. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Cosy, but they need to overhaul their food. Compared to Flanagans and Dubliner, its not great. (Tough competition in fairness)

Thanks so much for having us for 2 of the quarter finals, including the England v France game. I'm so sorry a small group of my compatriots showed such disrespect to some of your French guests, which i challenged. Its the main reason I support rugby over football. But aside from that all of your staff were great. Thank you!

Been coming here for 30 years and made some friends in Basel here back in the day. Friendly, really well-managed "community" pub feel. People come in and ask at the bar about darts teams, watch football, chat at the bar... Just a very welcoming place - for me, I try to end all of my training runs here if I'm in Basel (not as often as I wished). Good selection of beers.

We had great time at this pub! The girl in the bar was very helpful,kind and she was speaking very good english(i'm sorry i can't remember her name). Very nice place to enjoy a variety of beers and very delicious food! The portions were big! It's a typical irish pub! We will visit again the pub in our next trip there! 😊

The manager is anti-Ukrainuan. I went in last night with my Ukrainian friend and he said last time I was there I threw a drink over a male member of staff, strange because he was the only male member of staff working that night. The real reason is one of the regulars was Russian and didn't want us there. I've had no problems in any of the other Pickwick bars, just this one. He shouldn't be in charge with that attitude.

Super duper, good selection of booze and nice pubby food selection. Darts, foosball and plenty to keep you occupied. Do it!

Very nice pub located in a very nice, central spot in Basel. Atmosphere, personnel, food and drinks were all top quality! Totally worth to pay a visit if you like this wooden style of pub and of course pub food!

Fine place to grab a beer or more, edcellent atmosphere, also have several pub-sport like tablefootball ans darts. The also have a very unique karaoke nights, with a flawless speaker-singer! Very recommended!
