This is my favorite lunch place to spend with my colleagues! Perfect place to work or even eat on your own. Very peaceful and healing atmosphere! I absolutely love their variety of vegetarian food. Are usually don’t eat vegetarian food but this is the only place that I fell in love with - especially lost their salt and nuts that you can add to the dishes. 🍀👏🏻😍

Great Tibits! I’ve visited a few Tibits restaurants on multiple occasions and I’ve always left the store satisfied. Food is good and service is friendly and efficient. Perhaps not an unforgettable experience but the quality/price ratio is really good. This particular Tibits is pretty big and spacious with lots of seats upstairs which is really nice. The premises look modern and the atmosphere is good. I would certainly recommend Tibits and I will definitely be back.

I've been to Tibits many times and intend to continue eating there. Delicious vegetarian food. I like the concept of paying for the exact amount of food you want on your plate.

Amazing vegetarian by weight place. Lot of different things to try, all of them with great flavor. They offer some daily soup options and lots of different salads and breaded veggie things, potato on all its forms, raclette, etc. it’s really good been there many times don’t know why I hadn’t made the review before. Btw the place is beautiful.

Vegetarian, vegan and self service: the key words for who wants to eat something different in Basel! The quality is high, the place is splendid and we will come back here for sure!

Very nice vegan (vegetarian) place with fantastic atmosphere. The foods were great and fresh with large selection. We liked this place so much, during our 4 days in Basel we visited it 2 times. That's true it's a little bit pricey but not so bad. It is recommended for vegans also, because the majority of the foods are vegan.

My absolutely favourite restaurant to eat at in Switzerland. Amazing food and I love the choice and quality. Staff is always kind and helpful. And the coffee is great!

Die Qualität des Essens hat leider gelitten: trockene Nachos und leider viel zu teuer. Der Service ist unglaublich zuvorkommend, ausserordentlich warmherzig (beinahe penetrant freundlich) und man fühle sich gleich wie zu Hause - nur da esse ich einfach keine tiefgefrorenen Falafel, die einem serviert werden. Aber die schönen Momente als Gast an über 15 Jahre tibits Basel, Bern, Zürich und auch Luzern bleiben tief in meinem Herzen.

The place, the food and the people, everything is just awesome here. It's a buffet restaurant. Take whatever you want on a plate, weight it, pay for it and enjoy the food. The food spread is really good, with plenty of options for starters, main course and desserts. Even the drink menu is very weel spread with, soft drinks, hot beverages, beer, wine and more. Totally worth a visit.

Guys, why can’t you program your card readers correctly and get rid of the annoying tipping function? This is Switzerland, are you trying to milk your customers for cash? I come to your restaurant often, but I am now starting to get annoyed, no other restaurant I go to does this. If you need more money, increase your prices, pay your staff accordingly and please stop this nonsense. Edit: Well, apparently I am not the only one complaining of the beginning tactics, they made it into the newspapers in Bern. And by the way the answer below is rather pathetic. Just acknowledge you just want to trick customers into paying you more, please update your prices and stop this very shameful tactic.

Very nice place and tasty food.

Vegan food, but the variety is great and flavours were nice. Some of the roasted vegetables were quite salty (beetroot). But I live salty food, but I was expecting it to be more bland. Great fresh food! Loved the atmosphere and self-service process.

Ich komme sehr gerne hierher. Leckeres Essen, Preis Leistung stimmt und das Ambiente ist wirklich sehr schön. Da es Buffet zur Selbstbedienung ist, findet bestimmt jeder etwas und gerade für veganer, Vegetarier und oder glutenintolerante ideal.

We had the breakfast in this place. Great choice of vegan / vegetarian options that you choose yourself from the buffet and then pay by wight. We also had a seitan kebab - good and fresh. The food is very tasty and of good quality. We recommend it to all vegans and vegetarians.

Wonderful choice for a rainy December Sunday. Quite many choices for vegetarians. The atmosphere is cozy and all the workers are so warm and friendly.

Tibitis has a nice buffet system and beautiful vegetarian recipes - some of them inspired by the Swiss traditional food. It's always in a convenient place.

Looks lovely and the ethos seems great, we did not eat here as the breakfast buffet is priced on weight (4.50chf per 100g) which we deemed too expensive for an expensive city. There was also little to none donate to say this or menus on the tables

Ich finde es sieht schön aus aber das essen ist nicht mein Stil. Ich mag nicht vegetarisch aber ich hatte ein Brownie und ein Tee der war gut. Die Atmosphäre war auch schön und gemütlich ich empfehle aber zu reservieren. Alles in allem gut.

Many options, we had a wonderful vegan brunch! I wish we would have the same restaurant in Geneva! The place was cosy and well decorated! People on site were very nice and helful, I will definitely go back!

Great food for vegetarians and vegans with self service buffet. We always come to one of the Tibits restaurants when we're in Switzerland. No visit would be complete.

Tibits is always been one of my favorite places to go! Especially convinient for quick healthy meals. It's a perfect place to eat with child.

Apart from the well located terrasse, I just don't see the appeal. Poor experience. The buffet is decent and relatively fresh but in all honesty, self service at that price point is just ridiculous and not worth the cost nor the hassle... NB: careful not to pick the fixed price items on the buffet, it will set you back a non insignificant amount of chf...

Good variety, nice locale. Somewhat pricy but it is fine.

Plain and simple if your looking for a vegan/vegetarian buffet then that is what they offer but the price is way too high. For two plates and one soup was over 60 swiss francs. With that said the food is just okay nothing extraordinary with simple dishes but nothing to really say "Wow!"
