Absolutely delightful service and food! ALL HALAL! Booked this place as we were visiting Basel and the Turkish food was absolutely divine! The service was also fabulous ✅ My husband loved his kebabs and the meat was approved by him 💯 My veal Lahmacun was absolutely mouthwatering delicious! They also have non alcoholic drinks! Everything was amazing! The owners are also always present in the restaurant! I would definitely come back here 🤩

If the below image you guys think is Fondue for which Switzerland is famous for then I am really disappointed 😑 The bad point of this restaurant was not just the food but the rude behavior of the server...he started lecturing us after we had our food...is this the way tourists are treated in Switzerland?! I take away bad memories of this place with me...In the whole best trip me and my friends had of Basel...where the locals were so helpful to us...but this place and the behavior of the server leaves us all on a bad note... Don't recommend visiting this restaurant as a tourist !

Very good service, deliciously tasty food. There is a menu also according to the season. A big plus: delicious freshly baked bread to accompany the meal. The space is also ample and pleasant. Would return and recommend. On top, diaper changing table on the lower floor.

Overpriced, even by Swiss standards. The service was not good, got sparkling water instead of a plain one. Ordered baklava and got baklava with ice cream with a price of a second one of course! The waitress was kind but was trying to force you to order dishes that you weren't interested!

Excellent food, great tastes and quantities. Ended the meal up with one of the best baklavas I've had, and some Turkish coffee. Recommended!

We are passing through Basel and stopped to see the city. As its lunch time so looking for an eatery at the heart of the Altstadt and we see Anatolia restaurant. Decided to go in and what a pleasant surprise it was. Vuraal, the waiter was very helpful and we ended with a great meal. My lamb chops were cooked to perfection. Rarely tested such good grill teller. And the decor was very pleasant too. It's a must visited restaurant.

There is no doubt that the food here is great. Every dish we had was tastier than the next, with no duds, and the portions were great. It is therefore a shame that the restaurant would try to up-sell some more food for the table. Your food is very good, so let it do the talking. Then again, some people might actually enjoy this attention from the head waiter and consider it part of the experience. Ultimately, the food was great, including the left overs we ate the next day, so it gets a pass from me.

Most incredible halal meal I’ve ever had in all of Europe (no joke). We ordered the mixed grill platter and were lost for words. Every variety of meat was marinated, flavoured and grilled to perfection! Both the inside and outside of the restaurant are arranged beautifully. The owner was very helpful and friendly in helping us choose the best meal! You HAVE to eat here while you are in Basel otherwise you’re missing out!

Me and a friend had lunch here. We took some spinach balls and a grill plate for two. We were very satisfied by the service and the food itself. I would deifnitely come back to try other dishes.

Best Turkish food I’ve ever had :-)

Food taste was average , I requested mix grill it was ok, but lentil soup was not tasty at all, the bread was dry, I requested French fries instead of rice but they brought rice with the mix grill dish, I requested Turkish coffee it was not tasty. The waiter English is not good. The price was expensive for one person I paid 70.

The first feeling was good, a diverse public, from young to old people, families, friends...Excellent service and attention. And the dishes were big and food very fresh and the quality excellent. We have discovered a very interesting place in Basel. For sure we will come back.

The restaurant was a bit empty when we visited. The service is really good. The appetisers were oily so I wouldn't recommend it. Grill was really good and Baklava is so good. I highly recommend it.

Had great tasting humus there and main course with yoghurt cream sauce and ravioli type pasta. A bit pricey but still worth it.

Want the worst customer experience in Switzerland ? Welcome to Anatolia . Where waiter place bones from your salad on your table , blankets are dirty , during the change of wine glasses are not replaced . Welcome to the place with Turkish hospitality .

Amazing food and a great tasting experience, we had the mezze place, everything was very nice and definitely a big portion for 2 people. The place is well located on a side street in Basel, on an intimate and quiet terrace.

we arrived after 9pm, and assumed kitchen was closing. Ordered mixed kebab/ couscous dish but was told 5min later there was no couscous or rice, so extra veg added. Meat was tough with little flavour- quite a boring dish. Salad was fresh and adequate but no Turkish flair- e.g parsley/ lemon. Even the bread was dry and not very fresh. (usually Turkish is hot and fantastic with dips) Service was slow and indifferent- we got the impression they wanted to go home. Lots of other diners arrived later and I assume there was rice now! Disappointed

A very nice place to eat in basel Switzerland, very delicious turkish cuisine. The staff was very great and polite, specially zahida. And the owner hussain is a great fellow, he recommended us a meal from there menu & it was super delicious.

We had a pleasant turkish meal. In the centre of the city, the reautaurant is very cosy and well decorated and the staff service is very nice. The food was good and tasty.
