This is a great place to stay - very convenient for Basel's excellent public transport. Everybody is exceptionally friendly, kind and helpful. Comfortable beds, well equipped rooms. Good breakfasts, with a particularly fine selection of teas, nicely served with infusers. Very good value for money.

We were invited by some friends to share an "extended" Saturday breakfast (brunch) with them at the Basle Breite Hotel. Just wonderful - an astonishingly vast range of well prepared, fresh food, very friendly, helpful staff, light, spacious location... Just perfect. We'll certainly be back again!

I'm staying at Dasbrei hotel at the moment, it exceeds your expectations, very friendly and nice staff, good location.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful (I had some booking problems and they made it all very simple for me). Breakfast was great and included which is always a bonus. The location is interesting as it is very close to everything which is convenient however also right next to a large street. The road noise at night was very quiet even with open windows so it didn't really make a huge difference for me. I would definitely recommend it.

We had brunch here on a Saturday. Very nice staff, calma atmosphere and Great selection of sweet and savory food. Good quality/price ratio.

The hotel is the best place, impressed with the reception staff Saskia and Eros who have been absolute gems to help me with making sense of Basel where I am visiting for the first time. The hotel is clean, simple breakfast and highly recommend for business travel.

We have nothing but praise for this hotel. It’s location was perfect for our needs, the staff were exceptional (especially Sylvia), the room was clean and comfortable. We did miss having hot drinks in our room, but it was a small price to pay! The food selection at breakfast was wonderful. We support any facility that offers education and employment to adults with disabilities. If you’re visiting Basel, this is an excellent place to stay.

Unfortunately the hotel charged me twice when I stayed there... This is unacceptable behaviour, as one might not realise it and loses precious time sorting thise mistakes that should not happen! I will remember not to stay there next time I come to Basel for work.

Really great hotel, Staff are amazing, polite and friendly and lucky for us speak English very well. Right on tram stop opposite Rhine where u can float down. Rooms cleaned daily, good breakfast, great location. Would recommend. Staying 6 nights and half way through stay. Decent size rooms (316 and 317). And good wifi..

Very good stay at the hotel. Very good rooms, and good breakfast. Well communicated with city centre, train stations, airport and Congress centre. Fantastic and helpful service and staff. And you have coffee and cakes all over the day!

Very friendly Team eh ich really takes care. The family atmosphere is great. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. You get tea and coffee 24x7. Also the included ticket för public transportation is a small nice Detail.

Nice place to spend a night - whether you are travelling from Germany to Italy or you want to spend a weekend in Basel. Check in process outside if working hours is a bit stressful, which is compensated with a nice room and comfy bed.

Modern, very clean, cool hotel close to Basel SBB train station so good location for seeing the city. Tasty breakfast, really great room design for a family of 4- close but private. View of the Rhine and quiet. The staff were above and beyond helpful and so nice. We are so happy to support the mission of this hotel, had a wonderful stay, and will be back.

The whole staff was super friendly and helpful! We got all the necessary informations at check-in. We also got Basel cards what we could use for free travel on local transportation and you can also get different discounts, etc. It is not so easy to find the hotel garage, but we were able to park there with our car for free. The tram station is front of the hotel, so you can reach the city center easily and fast.

Clean nice modern hotel. Very good breakfast, friendly people, car park, 30meters from tram to city centre. Short walking distance from nice green park and river quay. If we are in Basel again we will return.

Good hotel for travel. The highway is close, but inside you don’t hear it. The rooms and dining area have a Scandinavian design look, with touches of elegance. Would stay again.

The staff was very welcoming and the hotel is incredibly clean. The room came with a cell phone that was free to use for the duration of my stay which made it much easier to manuever the city. The location of the hotel right across from the tram stop provided easy access throughout the city.

This is a really good Hotel which is on a main tram route and has easy access from the autoroute through Basel. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the excellent communications when booking direct. The breakfast was very tasty with a wide range of hot and cold choices to satisfy any preference. Parking was included and very secure underneath the Hotel. They have bicycles to hire for free and a great space for younger children to play.

Friendly staff, very clean, very quiet and nice location. Underground Parking and Tram tickets free of charge. Tram number 3 in front of the hotel. Room on the Riverside, 500m close to the Rhine but no view from the window.

A very comfortable place to stay. Breakfast is wonderful with a great selection - perfect start to the day. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Tram stop right outside or easy to access the walking paths on the Rhine for a scenic stroll. I used the free hire bikes to visit Germany and France and they make it easy to explore. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Basel.
