Fabulous experience watching the Basel Tattoo show in the evening!! Spectacular show from elite military bands from all over the world. Pipers, drummers and dancers from Ukraine, Oman, New Zealand, Scotland, Switzerland, Mexico and more…Totally recommend it if you’re in Basel in July!

Enjoyed my trip to Basel the highlight being the Tattoo on the last night. I also enjoyed my visits to the Rhine, the food, football match and wandering around your beautiful city meeting with friends of my host Peter and enjoying the Craic with them. It was a great experience also the Italian ice cream and the owner whose name I forget, he had such an infectious laugh. Slainte.

The Tattoo parade is just great. We enjoyed drumband festival. We saw grups from Germany, Dutch, UK, China, Scotland, Australia, Canada and Switzerland. Worth visiting.

We very much enjoyed viewing and listening at the Tattoo military musical festival in year 2023.

A fantastic cultural space in the city, with a great program. Plenty of food and drink options on site. Kabar is recommended for both.

Herbsmesse is only in the autumn, but it's very cool, and full of rides and markets

Great athmosphere, organisation and mix of people at the concert. Also the Panini was delicious... Should go more often...

Penultimate day of Herbstmesse and the fairground attractions were in full swing. Good atmosphere, wide choice of street food and lots going on.

It was an excellent show plenty of variety and a great view wherever you sat.

Multiple used old barracks areal with playground, greenfield, cafe, bar, theater, eventhall, culture lounge 'parterre one', gym, kindergarten, bocing club, studios, mosque, exhibition rolms and some more else

We visited as one of the cast bands for the Basel Tattoo 2022, 15th anniversary show. So will always have good memories of the Kaserne
