A joke! We walked in and instantly there was a smell like in a public toilet ... the bathrooms had no paper left - the rooms looked stuffy and you can clearly see that no one cares about the hotel. Sad. There needs to be a bit more work. Started when we walked up the entry when we saw staff just sitting around and chatting and smoking - How about cleaning and putting some paper to toilets or cleaning them? Not to recommend ! One nice thing though that en employee gave us a tip for another hotel and indeed the choice for hotels in Batna is very bad in general !

We had a paid reservation in Booking.com and they made us to pay again in cash, receptionist said they don’t work with internet reservations, Booking.com refunded what we have paid. Very bad experience, very dirty and old hotel, horrible breakfast (March 2019)

One of the ancient hotels in Algiria, situated in the city centre of Batna province very spacious but getting degraded through the years. Furniture degraded and sanitary badly damaged. Food just classic and that good. Supposed to be 4 to 5 stars but it does not deserve it.
