The worst hotel I ever stayed. I change the room coz the sink blocked and having bad smell. On the third day staying, the toilet blocked and can't be used. The cafeteria have 4 choices of food for breakfast. The operator do respond our problems. But this hotel is many problem regarding on bathroom and sink. It should not happen. I change room from level 13 to 11. The room level 13 have sterika and ironboard inside the room also have extra pillow. But the room at level 11 doesn't have sterika and ironboard inside the room. There is a room for ironing at level 11. If you want to park your car, it's better to park outside rather than inside the building. If you park outside, you can take the lift near the lobby. But if you park inside the building, you need to walk far to take the lift. There are no trolley to lift up your bags. The building really looks old and scary outside, you can say the corridor also scary if you want to walk alone. The room inside is clean and so good to have 'kiblat' label. The tv inside is okay for me, just only for channel 1,2,3,7,8,9 and also astro ria, cinemax (without subs). There also hair dryer and fridge.

The hotel is in serious condition! You would have thought that the shopping downstairs can bring more people, but it's like a dead town! Had to change room because the first room they gave us didn't have a working light!

During my recent stay at this hotel, I found the basic amenities to be adequate. The room was spacious, providing ample space for relaxation. The breakfast offered was average, meeting the standard expectations. However, it's important to note that I did not have high expectations for breakfast, so it didn't disappoint me. One significant drawback was the unpleasant odor emanating from the toilet, the smell persisted throughout my stay, which was quite bothersome. Additionally, I experienced slow response times from the front desk during the check-in process. This resulted in unnecessary delays and a less-than-ideal start to my stay. Improved efficiency and promptness in addressing guest needs would greatly enhance the overall experience. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel's large room space and basic amenities provided a comfortable stay. However, I hope they can address the issues mentioned to improve the overall guest experience in the future.

The worse hotel in batu pahat, I stayed only one night then changed to another one. Old furniture and not clean. The only pros I found is the breakfast.

Lacking cleanliness and room has a dead cockroach. We requested for bedroom slippers which disintegrated upon touch Staffs were friendly though and the male staff quickly cleaned our room and brought air freshener to freshen the room from stale air.

A great stay for a budget hotel. Staff members were friendly and attentive. The room I got was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located in the middle of town and right next to a mall, so it's convenient to get whatever stuff you need.

Great service by the hotel staff. Located next to The Summit but the mall is already dead. I went during Ramadan, so the breakfast was the sahur time. Amazingly it tasted good & the lot of choices as well for that hour. Great assistance by their staff. Will surely comeback if I happen to come to Batu Pahat again.

3.5 stars. Good bed and aircon. Generally clean. Walking distance to few famous f&b stalls. Next door mall is dead quiet. Breakfast is decent. Appreciate that we could roll bikes into room.

Easy access to old town Batu Pahat. Room is spacious but not as hygienic as I wished to be. Stains on the bathroom door. The aircond is ok. Friendly staff and the breakfast is just fine.

We took family room , the room was wide and spacious, the place is clean. The breakfast was nice and had plenty of options to choose from. Will definitely come again.

When we checked in. There wasn't any toilet paper. We called the lobby, they told us to collect it from the lobby. But ultimately they delivered it to our room. Wouldn't say the cleanliness is the best. But they do change the bed sheets daily. The toilet looks old. As for housekeeping there don't seem to be any SOP on what to do. Both days they changed the bed sheets. But one day they changed the towels and the other day they didn't. Definitely the floor wasn't sweep not the toilet washed during the housekeeping.

We chose this hotel because it is within walking distance of the government agency we needed to go to. Reception is friendly, bedroom and bathroom are clean. Electric kettle and glasses are provided. However our room has only provided, no tea. Not a problem though because there are plenty of eateries around the hotel.

The hotel is a bit run down, stained ceiling, floor with sands and dust when we step in with our bare foots. Room is a bit smelly for me. Laundry bag and Toilet paper were forgotten to be provided to us and sent upon request. Spacious room though.

I was sent for work. First walk in, wow Room with a pathetic single fluorescent light? I have to emphasise that the pictures on website is fooling everyone. Cleanliness ? How about i found trash at the lower drawer (mask, tissues of body fluids? Yuck come on). So much for non smoking but cigarette smell so strong. My safety was definitely at stake as i walked in. Eerie as hell. Im very very shocked overall. My husband, who is never picky, himself told me to leave stat. I dont judge others review. But this place fails in every hotel checklist.

Room is hot, the aircond does not functioning properly. The wedding hall is gorgeous and luxurious. Food is okay. Cleanliness is satisfying. The hallway is quite scary at night like the shining πŸ˜‚

A very dated hotel which desperately requires upgrading work. Small lobby and entrance. 2 passenger Lifts are very slow not helped by one was down with maintenance. Took almost 20 mins to get down to the lobby. Staffs were friendly though. Location is great too, it's next to a mall and a very big supermarket.

Not the worst hotel but definitely plenty of room for improvement, especially from hotel management perspective. Firstly on the positive side: 1) Water heater and pressure works fine for a good hot shower. 2) Air conditioning works fine to control the temperature in room (but a little dusty on air outlet surface area). 3) Room is definitely spacious with a decent view from higher floors. 4) Location of hotel is good Areas of improvement for hotel consideration: 1) Cleanliness of room - visible stains on bedsheet, table surface was sticky and dirty. Had to clean it myself with damp cloth and tissue before placing anything on top. 2) Toilet condition - it’s a little old with some visible stain / rust. Sink condition is poor with missing strainer basket (also no stopper so have to be careful not to drop anything in accidentally) and the drainage was partially stuck. Manhole was open and when mentioned to housekeeping, the task of closing it can only be done by maintenance team. Also maintenance team was wearing boots the entire time in the room and toilet so I’d recommend guests to have their own slippers when in the room (hotel slippers not provided). 3) Floor / housekeeping - only very briefly swept with broom and not mopped. Happened to witness the floor being used in the process of changing the new bedsheet (not in the most hygiene fashion) during housekeeping. 4) Parking - located on 3rd floor of the mall without much lighting at night. I would imagine the entire way up would be scary and unsafe especially for ladies driving alone in the evening or night. Also there was no boomgate or security at night so the car park is an open space for public. 5) Breakfast - I appreciate the gesture of providing breakfast for hotel guests but looking at the variety & quality offered (and perhaps lack of guests visible at dining area during breakfast peak hour), maybe option can be provided to guests whether to opt in/out and charge + prepare accordingly to prevent wastage. May not be the wisest idea to prepare buffet style breakfast that is not quite up to guests expectation with the food ended up in wastage when there are so few guests interested to consume.

Check in last night 29 Apr after a launching event. Our room is located on the 11th floor. Plenty parking bays around the hotel area. Guard placed by the entrance for additional security. The room itself is quite spacious, as do the bathroom, considered clean for an old hotel. No weird smells I must say. I do bring my own slippers after reading some of the previous review πŸ˜†. Breakfast is included on the 4th floor, but nothing to brag about. Just a typical normal hotel breakfast (fried noodle and mee hun, rice and curry chicken, toast + cereal + omelette + porridge section. One thing I do need to complain about is their coffee though. Taste blend. An acquaintance told me that this hotel is quite famous at Batu Pahat for some reason πŸ˜…. Luckily our night is quite calm and peaceful πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ™πŸ».

The room is ok for someone who doesn't really expect much.. It's actually comfortable and spacious for the price of Rm120 a night. But unfortunately, I can feel the dust and sand on the floor against my feet so the management should take this into account and make sure the room is vacumed well. Apart from that, everything is good.

Very satisfied with the stay. Staff are friendly and breakfast is decent. Considering the price, it is reasonable and suitable for overnight stay

Somehow this exterior of this hotel seems to have deteriorated over the years. It'll be great to actually repair/renovate them so that customers will have to appetite to stay in. Other than that, the room condition is rather well kept. Service is also acceptable. Parking is a bit scary though if you attempt the multi storey one.

Whole hotel interior is old, even the mall is quite. Bedsheets is dirty, toilet is sinking, pillow is holed and cotton come out. The first night is noisy, we even heard upstairs banging and people walking on corridor. Googled this hotel was haunted, but after we prayed in Tian Hou temple located in the town, it seems everything is gone. Not sure it is dead or live things, but I'm pretty sure soundproof is bad. Hope the hotel management can look into this seriously.

I won’t suggest this hotel in 2024 anymore, I stay here more than 5 times as business trip in 2023, but in 2024 I won’t recommend anymore Price increase RM 20 but the service downgraded The food in breakfast served become less than served in 2023 and the female staff who cooks the eggs keep disappearing, and I notice she watching video with her phone hiding behind the table, don’t ever serve the egg unless you need to ask for This won’t happen in 2023 And the food from 6-7 dishes reduce to 4 dishes and 8am all the food gone ady, breakfast started 7am. I asked for refill but no one care, when I ask for, the staff only put the signboard of the food Really not recommended for this hotel anymore in 2024 The most important thing is the beds are extremely unsupported, you will feel the beds are unsupported by any springs, you will have a bad sleep at night If you want to stay night for same price range, please don’t go Summit Hotel, go for Crystal Inns or Pinetree better

Eventhough the lobby is quite small & the check-in process took a bit too long to process, the room was spacious & clean.

The room is quite spacious but it feels dated with aging furnitures. Cleanliness can be better. The echo of people talking and walking along the corridor is so loud you can hear it in my room. Breakfast is ok. Parking us free.

It’s ok for a night of business trip. Downside is there is no water dispenser available. Only provided 2 small bottle of water. Overall, I’m having a great sleep……

Check in and check out procedure goes smoothly. Floor and toilet are clean. But the bedsheet has a lot of stains. Looks like they reuse without washing it. Aircond not very cool but acceptable
