Coming back from KL, stop YP for food. Reach the shop at 3pm, luckily still can place order. Food is yummy...

Hockchew fried noodle was very good. Sauce and wok hei was excellent. Portion quite big for 1 pax serving. 4 stars Hockchew meat ball was done wonderfully. Full of flavour and still soft and juicy inside. 4 stars Hockchew fishball was outstanding. Good texture. Juicy filling surprisingly delicious. Thickness of fishball was appropriate. WOW. 5 stars

The 12 pm opening time is inaccurate. They told us that they normally open at 12 pm but that today it’s going to be a little late, at 1 pm instead. So we went and walked around and came back at 12.50 pm. They ignored us as we waited outside. We had to ask them again if they are open. They said yes, just 5 more minutes. The chef wasn’t there yet. Of course, 5 minutes passed and still no chef 😂. We went elsewhere to eat. Please enjoy a couple cute photos that I took of the owners sitting inside and having an nice chat with each other while we wait outside in the heat. The best treatment we got from this place was from the stray cat that was resting by the tables.

I've nvr had such a bad yong peng loh mee. Loh mee no taste, foochow mee too salty, fried rice too salty, fried squid tasteless. The only dish which is ok is the meatball. The staff or family talking very loud. Feels like eating in a morning market. Not worth the trip up frm kl to hv such bad food. Nvr gnna visit again.

very delicious fuzhou restaurant. Their signature include fuzhou noodle(must order, I prefer to mix with a little of vinegar), fried pork ball, and red wine chicken. Use to eat here since childhood. Also they selling frog. Is a old restaurant where u can only find the taste here. Their yam pork ribs is super nice .Highly recommend

Food is slightly above average but the service from the older thin lady is no good. Give an attitude look. The price are also more expensive as compared to other restaurant nearby. I won't recommend this place.

Bad service. Look down on customers. Food not nice and tasteless. Food served very slow end up they didn't send the tofu that we order. Waiter didn't give time for customer to order. Staff not friendly.

They open punctually at 12:30pm so if you arrive early at 12:15pm, the place will be shuttered, resembling some long forgotten Ah Pek shop. Just take a stroll and come back again. Voila, the vibes of the whole place brighten up immediately with shop opening. The place is clean - clean tables, clean cutlery, and most importantly, clean toilets. They have a toilet bowl so you need not squat (which might prove more challenging than expected to the muscle if you had just drove through an xhours-long traffic jam at the Causeway and another 1.5hour to Yong Peng). The food is so enticing I forgot to take pictures after the first dish. I understand that the culinary standards here have dropped, but with what they offer now, I do not see any significant difference. My favourite dish of the meal is the Red Rice Wine Chicken (which I obviously gobbled up before remembering that I forgot to take pictures again).

Service attitude is very poor! It was full by the time we arrived, there was only one table left that the customer had just left, and then we were waiting for the waiter to help clear the table, but the waiter completely ignored it. After we stood at the table and waited for about five minutes, I decided to ask the waiter to help clear the table myself, but the waiter just waved her hand to show that she knew and didn't do anything. Later, when she finally came to clean up the table, she was extremely impatient to clean up the table. I sincerely suggest that if there is a shortage of waiters, try to hire more or less available tables to provide better service than to be very impatient.

Great local delicacy in Yong Peng!!! Their signature hock chew noodle is a must order, tasted differently (better) though it looks like a replica of KL’s hokkien noodle. Will definitely revisit on my way to or back from JB. Be patient as I feel they are short handed for peak hours. Were the first batch of customer on the day of visit, waited about 15-20mins.

All signature dishes were good. Taste was a bit heavy. Wish to try more dishes. Mee rm8, Mee suah rm9, etc..

One of the fav go to restaurant in yong peng, had been there forever Food is tasty and savoury but prices are on the slightly steep side for a place like yong peng. Foo chow noodles was good Vege was okay Foo chow soup good The Chinese red wine chicken was heavenly Fried handmade pork balls was okay Overall a very decent dining experience and may need to wait for food to be served, as it's the lady boss who's cooking in the kitchen.

Fuzhou fish ball was good, as for the Fuzhou noodle not that impressive. Lack of the wok hei, taste too blend. Not recommend to order the drinks. Really so-so… Service was good 👍, fast and friendly.
