Absolutely incredible food. So comforting and the depth of flavors were out of this world. It’s so unassuming of a place too. Just good food that’s vegan. Vegans and non-vegans alike can enjoy the food here. Please give this play a try. Great service, delicious food. I’ll be back next time I’m in Nashville!

Omg the soul chicken plate was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 bless the hands that whipped it up! I did everything except lick the plate clean! My soul was in heaven!!! The food look like the pictures as well. The strawberry cake was amazing had to leave a piece behind I was so full, I’ll be back for sure.

I can't believe I hadn't tried this place before now. I was so happy with the food I ordered (I got takeout rather than dining in). I wanted something fresh and tasty, and I knew I wanted a dessert, too. I got a small Fried Chick Salad and a Strawberry Cheesecake. The "chicken" was definitely chicken-flavored, and the salad dressing was perfect on top. The dressing was probably some of the best vegan ranch dressing I've ever had. The cheesecake was light and decadent at the same time. I really liked the base, too. Overall, totally satisfied with this restaurant, and I hope to order again soon.

All I ordered was the "fried chicken" salad and the strawberry cheesecake. I honestly was highly disappointed. My total was $19 and the portion for the salad was very small. $11 for this salad is insane.. It was my first time in the area, and I'm always looking for vegan restaurants because I love seeing vegan businesses thrive.

Passing through Nashville and this place has been on my radar for a while now and timing worked out to check it out finally. Went with the soul food plate and this southern boy was not disappointed! Not often I can get collards and trust them so was real psyched on that. Wish there was just a little more bbq chik’n but felt it’s a balanced plate. High on my list of return to spots!

I have been waiting for 2 years to try this… ran my own business, but finally have time to. To say the food was outstanding would be an understatement. The service was wonderful, such a cute little place. I’d definitely say come and enjoy it when the weather is nice so you can enjoy the outside seating. Inside has a few tables but if your like me a have a little one, I’d say sit outside :). My husband said he can’t wait to try everything it was that good, and my 4 year olds eats everything, so she had nothing bad to say as well. If your in the area, please give them a try, vegan or not you will love it

The food here is phenomenal!! It’s such a cute little house and the music is nice! The couple who runs this place is so hospitable and sweet! Pretty much all items are made from scratch and you can totally tell by the taste and quality of the food. We tried the tots, hot chicken sandwich, hot chicken plate, home made ginger beer and the strawberry cheesecake! I wish we lived nearby so I could come here more frequently! Honestly, I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!! Literally the best vegan place I’ve ever eaten at!!!

The first time we've been there! Very tasty and very good for vegetarian food! We got Lasagna & Tofu wrap. I'll definitely be back!! The location maybe not be great but I'm a food person, if the food is good everything else is good too. LOL I like it a very cute small place and if you didn't like inside, I think you can seat outside too.

Every time I’m in Nashville I get delivery from here. For the first time I was able to stop in and everyone was so kind, service was fast, and food impeccable. Can’t recommend more highly! Food in photo is the Soul Chick Plate.

Has to go to Nashville for an appointment and found this little gem! We will be back! I have a meat and dairy allergy so it is great to eat somewhere totally safe! The soul food plate and chik soul plate were generous portions. Hard to pick a favorite item but the yams and sweet potatoes were both excellent. Great outdoor seating area.

Took my wife here yesterday for her birthday. Read all the amazing reviews on google and drive a few hours to try it out. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! The food was all incredible. We got a plethora of things to try. The Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich was definitely the best thing on the menu. I highly recommend it. The coconut bacon BLT Po’boy was also really good. The sides (Mac And Cheese, Yams, Greens, Rolls and fries) all delicious. My wife loved the lasagna so much she didn’t even share a bite with me. Desert wise, she preferred the cheesecake, I preferred the coconut cake. Both great, but distinctly different. The language around Philly foods on the menu are hilariously misused so if you are from Philly/Jersey don’t let that fool you into thinking the food is bad. Being from philly and seeing the “on a hoagie” or “Philly cheese sandwich” had us cracking up, but the food was no laughing matter. In all seriousness, go try this place! I’ll be looking for n excuse to get to Nashville again asap!

I love Vegelicious! The soul food plate in particular has been a staple for me since the early days of the pandemic. As a vegetarian, I rarely get to experience comfort food this delicious and without meat!! The collards, mac and cheese, BBQ "chicken" and yams are all so good. I dined in for lunch with a friend today, and the service was wonderful and our food came out quickly. I also tried and enjoyed a sorrel drink. Amazing food that everyone can enjoy, including (but not limited to) vegetarians :)

I got dine in at this location. There is an actual parking lot you follow the entrance sides, so no need to park on the street. You will order inside, and can eat inside or outside. Either way they will bring food out to you. There is a smidge of a wait, but that is because the food is so fresh. The food is phenomenal! It was delicious for my vegan and non-vegan friends. We got the blueberry compote pancakes, Philly, and soul chick plate hot. The pancakes and Philly were good. The soul chick plate hot was out of this world. I was tempted to get another order of the hot chick and mac and cheese, but we had to get on the road. The collards were so flavorful and crunchy. I also got the ginger beer and it was SOO refreshing! Overall, I had a lovely experience and the owner/workers were so sweet. Amazing customer service! The food will make vegans and non-vegans happy.

Vegelicious is Delicious!!! I had bbq, greens, yams, macaroni and cheese. The yams had a naturally sweet taste with the perfect touch of cinnamon. My husband had the hot plate of chicken. There was nothing left, so you know what that means. We tried the liquid refreshments. The ginger beer had a good kick to it, and the sorrel drink had a hint of cinnamon as well. We could not leave without trying the carrot cake and the vanilla cake. Vegelicious will be on our list when we visit Nashville. They also have a location in Antioch.

This is a hidden Gem… I absolutely love this is a black owned restaurant… Kasandra was was so nice and helpful …the owner came out and spoke and brought my order…. The vegan hot chicken was really good …. The atmosphere was a very chill and laid back. Love the music was really great and the noticeable accents in the inside dining area. I work literally across the street and can’t wait to bring my co workers. Did I mention the SORREL .. it’s the best. If you’re in Nashville looking for a home cooked vegan spot. I highly recommend

The pics don’t do it justice (and frankly, we dug in before remembering to take a pic). This place is absolutely fantastic! My husband is vegan (I am not) and we decided to stop in here while in town based on all the reviews. I was a little unsure whether I’d need to stop somewhere non-vegan afterwards when I planned this as our lunch spot. I did not! At the recommendation of our server, I ordered the soul food plate and (so we could have variety) my husband ordered the Philly cheese sandwich. Both meals were so tasty (and I say this as a non vegan foodie). If we had more time in this town, we would go back for additional meals. The portions were generous, everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful, and again, the food was fantastic! This is a must stop restaurant when in Nashville!

The food is so good! The sauce they put on the BBQ is extraordinary. Even if you aren't a vegetarian you'd never know you're not eating meat. This small business is a best kept secret!

We walked in and Kev made us feel right at home. The food was AMAZING and found myself not wanting to walk away from my plate even though it was so filling. The owners are really good people, and you can tell they’re well respected in the neighborhood. We sat and chatted for almost an hour to the owner and he’s a really good man. Thank you so much for making a wonderful vegan dining expirence made with love. We will absolutely be back. Best chicken sandwich I’ve EVER had!

Hidden vegan gem in Nashville! My friend and I got the Soul Food Plate and the Hot Chik Plate and both were delicious. We shared a piece of carrot cake which was warm with the most delicious icing! Service was fast and attentive. We're not local, but next time we're in Nashville we will definitely be back!

As soon as I saw the Soul Food Plate, I was drooling. I enjoyed every bite. I also ordered the Philly Cheese and the husband ordered the Vegan Gyro. I enjoy finding small, vegan restaurants like this because it's just delicious, period. Get a sorrel with your meal and you're all set❤️

This was my first time trying a vegetarian restaurant and it won't be my last time. I normally eat a lot of fast food which makes me feel sick afterwards. This was different because when I finished my plate I felt fulfilled. That's how food should make you feel.

I started my 30 day vegan challenge. This was my first place to try and the food was good. I had the soul food plate and coconut cake. Very good! Nice people and nice R and B music playing. I will go back and possible bring friends.

Nice cozy atmosphere that feels like you are at home getting ready for a home cooked meal made with love. The mango tea, coconut cake, macaroni, yams, and bbq chicken were some of my favorites! My family and I visited twice while in Nashville, we enjoyed it that much.

Best food in Nashville PERIOD! The Mac n cheese is the best you can find in the city. If you're thinking about getting dessert DO IT. we got the carrot cake and blueberry bread pudding and omg both were warm and delicious. The dining room is cozy and when we were there inviting r&b was playing. I really loved everything we ordered and was sad that my stomach wasn't bigger because I wanted to try one of everything! The pancakes are to die for as well. I really enjoyed the food and the sweet staff that helped us figure out what we wanted. 11/10 a #1 must go Nashville resturant.

What can I say, this place is INCREDIBLE! The staff was amazing! The place smelled wonderful, cozy and just right full vegan food with SOUL! I love me some vegan soul food and this didn’t let me down. The hot fried chicken was unreal, the Mac and cheese was fire and the collards were insane! Make sure to get the blueberry bread pudding! I will be back to eat the whole menu!!!

We came here for the first time earlier today and I’m so glad we did. The food here is so delicious and almost everything is made from scratch including their beverages. My husband had the Philly and I had the hot “chicken” sandwich and they were both so good. My husband isn’t vegan but he devoured his Philly and liked my sandwich too. I enjoyed the collard greens and the v-licious taters so I didn’t get the fir at picture but remembered to take them after we ate half of the appetizer. We will definitely be back again.

First time visiting this place and the food was absolutely AMAZING. Had the soul food plate (barbecue chicken, Mac n cheese, collards and yams) plus carrot cake, pineapple cake and ginger beer. We will definitely be back and we live 45 min away. It was well worth the drive. Great atmosphere and the staff was AWESOME!!!!

One of the best Vegan Cafe’s we have been to specializing in Soul Food. I loved my Tuna (Chickpea) Salad and the Ginger Beer was the bomb. We bought several to take back to have at our hotel. The desserts are amazing and will return for Brunch!!!!

My partner and I stopped here while visiting and I would recommend to absolutely anyone. The food was delicious (any non vegan/vegetarian would certainly love it as well! The food tastes exactly like the non-vegan versions), the place had an exceptionally friendly environment, and the owner was incredible. The whole interior is set up perfectly to have conversations with other people eating, and we quickly became friends with the people around us. A great spot for both eating and getting to know other Nashville visitors. I would recommend their bbq tofu burger and the spicy chicken sandwich!

I got the Hot chicken sandwich and they have the option to make any sandwich with a lettuce wrap instead of bread so I did that. Very tasty and everything is made from scratch. My husband got the no bacon cheeseburger and he said it was so tasty and impressive, he loved it and he’s not even a full time vegan. The owners were so sweet and nice.

This place came up on all my vegan searches so I had to try it. It’s a cute little restaurant with lots of food options. I had the BBQ chicken and my husband had the hot chicken. Both were delicious. I was so full afterward, but had to try the dessert and I’m so glad because the strawberry cake and cheesecake were also amazing. Their sweet tea and ginger beer were good as well so you really can’t go wrong. Plus the owner and staff are so friendly.
