Convenient place in barking for a quick pick up of tea coffee and sandwiches. Hot foods are great and freshly made everyday. Meal deals are great for a breakfast. Very friendly staff. Good place for barking

"THE GREAT GREGG'S GIVEAWAY". Another Greggs another theft in broad daylight and blatant as ever. Went in to grab a tea and a guy, obviously on harder times and maybe a little worse for drink just casually walks in. He picked up two bottles of Dr. Pepper and a portion of chips, turned round walked out and proceeded to eat his bounty. I have see this happen on numerous occasions, way to many to count and also I watch them on YouTube. It's a nice way to spend a couple of hours watching to see how many people grab a free meal deal while Greggs workers look on and don't really give a hoot. Then why should they? They don't get paid enough or are treated fairly enough to warrant the protection of a sandwich and bottle of pop. Greggs as a company have not done anything to address this issue so I have stopped buying food from their stores as I am clearly, most visibly and most emphatically paying towards their free food with my price hikes. A coffee/tea and front row seat to the greatest show in town. I love it. "THE GREAT GREGG'S GIVEAWAY It's now 12:15, about an hour later, the same place, drinking my tea. A different guy comes in, looks around, grabs a couple of drinks and a sandwich and walks out. Who needs EastEnders? This is the live show, the staff are so nonplussed about it. I might have to reserve a table as this is too good to miss.

It was the first time I have been to Greggs and will never go there again. We ordered a coffee and a cheese puff. The coffee was tasteless and the puff was cold. Not a good experience.

I try never to go in Barking Greggs. The staff is disgustingly rude and unhygienic! The lady serving me asked me what I wanted but walked off to clean the counter before hearing. She didn’t bother to come to me for another two mins (by which time the customer behind me, was already served by the other serving lady) she made my roll with the same hands, no gloves, no tongs, tore my bun and put the bacon in. She was definitely not interested in serving. I threw the roll out before leaving. Disgusting!!

Why is there only 1 till on most times when 15 people are waiting to be served and when I ask the manager the speed of service is poor all she seems to do is argue with the customers

Ordered a steak bake which was stone cold. When taken back, I was told that they didn't have anymore left and the only ones they had were the ones on display. When asked to re-heat, they said they're not allowed to do that. Pathetic.

Good value for the money 💰 great pastry, large variety, good coffee.... and really friendly staff.

I absolutely love Greggs! I love the fact that I get free tea at the weekend and another one during the week. One around my way Sells doughnuts for as little as £3 and some change for 15 or 12 and two Belgium buns for 55p. I can't complain at all, theyre delicious.
