We came out from the South Kensington Train Station and were met with a relatively heavy rainfall, much to our surprise!! But knowing what the typical London rain was all about, we just took it in our strides.. A cup of hot latte would work wonders at a time like this, and right across the road was a familiar sight..So, Najwa quickly pointed to this direction, and we were all too happy to oblige. Some people shunned away from pronouncing the name of this cafe, as it is french by nature. Just say it like, "prey ar monjey", and you wouldnt be far off. Some people just mention the name simply as "P", for fear of mispronouncing it, but be careful not to be mistaken as "pee", as it would carry an entirely different meaning!! Anyway, Najwa and I had our fix of hot latte, while my wife was happy with her Earl Grey white tea, along with her acai berry fruity concoction of thingamagic. Najwa went for the Vege & Cheese pie, and shared it with me. We spent a good 30 minutes here, as the cafe was practically full with people who were trying to avoid the rain, just like us...

I can't recommend Prêt restaurant enough! It has become my go-to spot for breakfast every morning. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness make for a wonderful start to the day. Their dedication to addressing allergies is commendable, and I appreciate the peace of mind it brings. The quality of their milk is noteworthy, and I love adding it to my daily cornflakes. Prêt has truly won me over with their exceptional service and attention to detail.

Most food was out of stock. Drinks good. Service fast enough. Attracts all kinds of people. Not Pret's fault. Just spoils a nice catch up depending on the clientele at the next table! I got the macaroni cheese. It was cold and bland. Perhaps stick to their sweet offerings or sandwiches.

The place was dirty. Tables were absolutely dirty and sticky, food remains and uncleaned. And there were rubbish on the floor. I was there for over 30' (27th July 2023 between 4pm to 4:30pm). There were many tables available but all dirty and messy. And the baristas were very busy. When I asked one of them to please get someone to clean the tables as I was waiting for a clean one, someone was sent immediately but he did mention that they were a small team and explained the situation. The service was very disappointing. Baristas were constantly serving and were obviously busy but the service sucked. Large volumes of sales but the management couldn't manage the clean table, this is not good. A few dirty tables that remained dirty for over 30', which I could take without taking customers faces are on the videos attached.

Good quality hot or cold food and drink available for take away or eat in. Only rating 4* because the toilets was closed for the visit. The waiting time is short as this is usually a busy Pret branch especially as it’s located near the Natural History Museum, V&A museum and the Science museum. Drinks are ready in under 1 minute and are a good hot temperature. Food menu includes soups, toasties, baguettes, sandwiches, salad, pastries etc.

Great choice of food and service. It was a real shame that some customers just sit there for ages and don't leave after consuming. This is not a co-working space!

Nothing to complain about the staff or the Store itself more sort of a nag at the brand pret staff we encountered were nice . Was very busy seemed clean enough to me most people should bin their own rubbish. The problem I have is your charged more to eat in ? But sandwiches weren't warmed or anything like that £16 for two baguettes and drink each seems pretty pricey to me will just go to co op next Time ! For a meal deal

I’m genuinely never inclined to leave a negative google review, but the service at Brompton Road today was so terrible, I felt compelled to. I ordered a cold drink, to be told bluntly “no” by the server (male, tall, blonde hair). No apologies, explanation or alternatives offered, just a really abrupt no. When I asked why they weren’t making cold drinks, he simply replied “no ice”. I genuinely thought he was trying to be funny at first, it was such a bizarre encounter. I can appreciate the shop was busy, and judging by the frown on the servers face he was having a bad day, but it really doesn’t excuse his rudeness. And to top it off the chicken wrap I purchased was painfully dry and contained mostly salad leaves. Really wish I hadn’t bothered, next time I’ll head to the Starbucks a few doors down.

Busy branch, toilets are absolutely disgusting 🤮 staff are not friendly at all plus where is the logic of having 3/4 people behind the till and one slow person making the coffee? Hope this gets some attention and this is resolved. This should be a flagship branch due to location but a big let down. More staff taking to each other than working.

The review is from a service perspective. So I got a cup of cappuccino, and a croissant to eat. I accidentally spilled the drink on the floor. I went back to the cashier and told them about the situation so that they are known, and can clean the floor. I wanted to order coffee again, but the barista said I don’t need to pay. That’s how service should be!
