Mediocre spread accompanied by very slow service. Greeted with a "We don't have you in our booking list." Was a really bad initial impression. We had to wait despite there being plenty of empty seats. The team was heavily understaffed, as explained to us as well. Their team of three seemed like a team of one, with the other crew just slowly walking around without any clue of what was going on. A service crew when asked, responded with a "I'm not sure. I don't know what that is.", and walked away. Food ordered at 630 arrived at 830. I was starving by then. The saving grave was Helena, the star service crew. She saved the day, and my mom's birthday by being patient, joyful amidst the many complaints. She served everyone with a smile and helped surprise mom with a birthday cake. If you ever visit Windows on the Park, look for Helena to help you with your meals, or you will never get it.

Went for the weekend lunch buffet. Due to pandemic all items have to be ordered via the online menu on your phone. Selection was very little compared to previous visit. Now you get around 3-4 choices per section, though they are quite nice. Ordered items may or may not come. I had to order 8 cups of coffee online/offline before 2 was actually served, this was after checking with the service staff about the coffee.

Holiday Inn Orchard Windows on the Park buffet is a culinary delight. From international cuisines to local favorites, the spread is both diverse and delicious. Coupled with excellent service and a pleasant ambiance, it's a dining experience worth savoring.

It has been about 10 years since our last visit here and we just dropped by for it's dinner buffet just the past Sunday. Nothing much has been changed except that it's brighter and as usual, cosy. But tables were arranged too closed to one another, making one difficulty to walk around/through not to mention you can clearly listen to what your next table diners are talking about easily. Although it's Sunday, the restaurant was almost full-house (as they were running a $50 nett buffet dinner) and it was really great value for money, considering the spread of food and generally good quality too. If you are a seafood lover, you will surely love it. There are lots of seafood that included fresh oysters, prawns, crabs, lobsters, scallops, squids and mussels etc, they were either cooked, or freshly grilled by the chefs on the spot. There were also other dishes that included salmon, tuna and sushi maki, stewed beef, salmon, mamee chicken, lamb shoulder chop, glutinous rice, fried noodles (also there's a DIY noodle station where you pick your own ingredients and let the chef cook for you), satay, fresh salad, soup of the day, harkow, curry puff etc. Foods were replenished promptly and that's good! Would say most of the foods were nicely cooked and yummy. The satay, there's only one type available was disappointing as the meat was a little dry and soggy and the lamb was hard. The crabs were nice but a little too salty. There were two cold beverages, one was rose syrup, the other, not too sure, look like but didn't taste like lemon tea, the taste was a little weird. Coffee/tea were inclusive. And a range of pastries, kuehs, ice cream and fresh cut fruits. Overall, these were nice. Service wise, can be better. Some staff were "green horns" and they were seemed confused where to get the things we requested like chopsticks that were not made available at the sushi maki station and asked their peers. They also were expressionless when we thanked them for clearing our used plates. And they didn't bring us the bowl of water for us to wash our hands though the table besides us got their which I thought they should provide that for every table like most other restaurants will do. Inconsistent service. In general, it was a nice and satisfying dinning experience here, considering the spread of food and price paid for though service by staff can be improved.

Was asked to replace a colleague who fell ill to attend a course the Holiday Inn. Tea breaks and lunch were catered and we had lunch at the restaurant here. I'm impressed with the food that was served here. There's a range of food served here and you'll be lost for choices and they're all delicious. Being here for the first time, I'm surprised that this restaurant is halal certified. I'd definitely want to bring my family here to let them have a taste of the food that is served here - curry noodle, lamb chop with black pepper sauce, satay, sushi, prawns and many more. πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

Worst hotel buffet in my life. (As of now) Hosted a team dinner there and chose this place cause it was halal and a relatively reputable hotel. For the price of 60ish per pax, you can get much better food in other hotel buffets(Non halal) Although im not well versed with halal hotel buffets, the spread was mediocre and had a surprisingly small selection of food. The only "Premium" items were like Oysters, assorted cold seafood, sashimi(tuna, salmon, octopus), chilli crab and perhaps lamb chops. Other than that, its like fried rice, mashed potatoes, tomyum soup, laksa and they even had nuggets lol 10/10 would not return. Felt like i ate a subpar 20+/pax buffet. Maybe thats how it survived covidπŸ€” Overall Disappointment level:10/10

Not sure if my review could be biased because I had the opportunity to try the buffet at this restaurant as part of the package after signing up for a course (paid by company) that was held at the hotel. The food was pretty decent actually. Range and spread was enough for me as I’m not able to eat as much as I would like to compared to 2-5 years ago. There were appetizers, main course, sides, soup, as well as fruits and desserts. One point to note though, I felt that the yogurt tasted like the Marigold or Meiji berries yogurt but it tasted ok with the bobba.

13 Jan 2024 Amazing and underrated. Firstly the staff were cool and hardworking. Constantly checking for plates, grilling fresh lobsters, and very helpful. Love the place because it's quiet and calm with minimal crowd. The food was mostly amazing starting with the appetizers, and salads (although some, such as the baby octopus, tasted weird or off perhaps due to some new recipe). Absolutely loved every seafood I had as they weren't only fresh but well prepped. Just one concern, since I tested almost every dish they had, it was clear as day that they had some dishes that were awfully old, cold, or both. I understand the need for the buffet to have variety, but if you're going to neglect the less popular dishes, why bother having them? The satay, samosa, some Chinese dumplings, even the rice and noodles that most buffets try their best to keep warm as that's a staple dish were cold. There was also some fried stuff kept under the lamp that looked good. But it only looked good. I highly recommend this place as a customer, and ditch some obviously neglected dish and it'll be fine! The food is definitely amazing totally love the sushi and sashimi that's even better than some restaurants, the lamb chop was delicious, the amazing lobster is always a lovely sight. I do hope the hotel makes better decision with regards to whether to keep those varieties or focus on what's working. I'll guarantee lots of 4-5 stars if y'all clean that up!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 / 5 Stars A Sumptuous and Delightful Saturday night experience at Window on the Park Buffet 🐟🦐🦞. Had to do this review as I personally think this place deserves a higher score as compared to its current. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Window on the Park Buffet. The 1 for 1 buffet was super attractive thus, my friends decided to give it a go. The decent and delectable spread of dishes left a lasting impression for us. This is my first few time trying a halal hotel buffet and after my experience, I would definitely recommend this place to my muslim friends. Window on the Park Buffet undoubtedly lived up to its reputation even thou it seems to have a low Google rating. The quality of dishes available were simply outstanding. From the freshly made grilled lobster, prawn, laksa to the refreshing bandung. The highlight for me was definitely the grilled cheesy grilled lobsters, they were served hot and fresh for consumption. Besides there were a larger variety of desserts as well for after meal consumption. The service was decent throughout our meal but it seem to me that the team were slightly understaffed after a certain time as it was getting harder to find them for helpπŸ˜‚πŸ€£. With that said, the staff were still helpful and friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist when I looked for them. Meanwhile, the only down side for me is that i wish for a larger variety. However I understand it was due to the space constraints as well. Looking forward to a new series of menu in the future. In conclusion, Window on the Park Buffet is a gem in the heart of the city. This place is suitable for a nice family gathering but do remember to make a reservation beforehand as the place might have very limited seats. Ps. Ate so much that I forgot to take pictures and videos. Had to credit my friend for these superb photos and videos.

Ambiance and place is good, though my friends and I didn't get the window seat (not important, but Windows on the Park πŸ˜…). Food is good, but portion is small for 2 pax. There's no top up of the food which made my guests and I feel that this was not worth the 40+++ we paid for it. But hey, you pay for the ambiance and feel. Perfect for celebrations.

Cosy dining ambience and friendly attentive staff. Food was served upon order due to Covid-19 measures and staff frequently came by to check if we needed anything. Decent selection of local and international fare at lunch buffet and small but sweet offering of desserts. Highly recommend the umami-packed butter prawns, melt-in-your-mouth seared teriyaki salmon and juicy chicken satay!

I would have given no star if that is possible. When I arrived for high tea (on 30 Jul 2022), no one greeted me at the door, so I let myself in and joined my friend who arrived earlier. The only staff in the restaurant is the cleaner lady mopping the floor. So I have to ask her if there is a staff to take our order. She had to call out to the kitchen for someone to attend to us. When the waiter came, he curtly mentioned that our high teas are on the way even though we have not ordered. Then he disappeared before we can remark. After 10 minutes , our food came and waiter disappeared promptly after serving. 20 min later, still no sign of any staff and no one had brought our tea. Again have to get attention of the cleaner to call for staff. When he came to the table he said we didn't order our drinks...even though this was for a high tea set. So we ordered peppermint tea, and it came in a mug with a tea bag (see photo). Ludicrous! For $45 per person, this is madness. I should have gone to TWG who charges $38 for a tea set with exceptionally good tea. Avoid at all cost; staff does not care, place is run down, mediocre food. The tea at kopitiam would be more satisfying.

This place offers an ideal venue for dining, and I really enjoyed the entire process of dining in, indulging in their Asian Dinner Buffet. One of the crew by the name of Mina - if I am not wrong, was delightful towards handling our request. I like her professionalism as well as her pleasant personality. For the food, everything seems good, and if I were to pick my favorite, it would be the abalone grilled version as well as the scallops and the steamed Burumandi. The seafood was fresh and simply tasty. The drawback lies in the crab. It was a disappointing fact that the black pepper crab didn't fulfill the satisfaction craving. Once again, I will definitely pick this place again for family / friends / couple dining experience. The plus point comes from the food, ambience, staff warmth initiative Derrick

Weekend Lunch Buffet not that exciting. Oysters, not fresh. Good for their steaks/grilled meat. Satay is not too bad. Fried rice does not mix properly as white rice could be seen. Overall still recommended.

The festive buffet dinner was nice, and the spread is wide enough with the price discounted 20%. The chef even made some special fried chicken for my birthday friend. The servants are helpful, clear plates faster, and look after us, too. Recommended honey ham, satay, sashimi, curry chicken, creamy seafood, oysters are fresh! Ice cream and cake desserts are tasty too!

Order 55 boxes with mooncake from this restaurant to share with family, friend and customer. Design: Elegant look, some friend receive and told me that if i don't inform them, they won't know it is moon cake inside. Come with knife and folk as one package. Taste: Total 4 pieces of mooncake: 1*Cempedak, 1*White Lotus Macadamia Nuts, 1*White Lotus Single Yolk and 1* Black Sesame Paste. Like: White lotus and Black Sesame Paste. Unable to link the Cempedak mooncake with the Cempedak fruit as the taste not match. Service: Handle by very professional Assistant director of sales. Delivery: No hiccup.

Don't be blinded by SAFRA one for one. Total bill is $176 even after applying the one for one. You can go to better place out there for 2 pax with this price. The food is really not up to standard. The meat of the small and big lobster feel powdery. The fish cake of the laksa taste sour. The dishes and pastry is not really nice. There are not much cold dish selection. There is no oyster too. And yet they dare to charge this kind of price.

In a nutshell, they served the same variety of food for the 3 days i was there. Food was pretty good although some may get a little ire seeing the same menu for 3 straight days. I observed staff are too quick to clear your table, like hinting to us to leave after eating but i am not sure if that is the case. Maybe they just trying to be nice.

Came for a company dinner on a Wednesday evening. Was a bit earlier than expected but the seats were already prepared. Siri and her team were very accomodating and pleasant throughout the service - often asking ask if we needed help in the stations (i.e. scooping of ice cream). They were also were quick to clear the plates and there was constant grilling of the lobsters. Taste wise, was pretty decent for the price paid (1 for 1 special rate after exceeding certain pax, no hidden fees as well unlike some other places where they limit the no. of special rates or insist for an even number of pax ). Selection was reasonable as well. I quite enjoy the desert section, ice cream cones were fresh. Perhaps we were also lucky cos aside from our big group of 40+, there was only just a small other party so the setting was very cosy. My colleagues and I enjoyed a wonderful evening. Thank you Siri and the rest of the Windows in the Park theme for the lovely experience!

Very disappointing buffet. We came here looking at an advertisement for the seafood buffet, this advertisement was clearly misrepresented as it didn't specify the timings of the seafood buffet and the staff mentioned the seafood buffet was not available when we came to the restaurant. We decided to stay and what we discovered was very, very mediocre. Some food was stale, some food was undercooked, for example the baked desserts were uncooked paste. Quite apart from the food, in general the location was dilapidated. The service was so poor I had to clear my own plates after 15 minutes! After all of this, to our surprise, the advertised 1-for-1 promotion also wasn't available! When we raised the issue of the lack of promotion despite the advertising we showed not specifying a timing, and the lack of clarity on the timing of the actual seafood buffet we were told "sorry". Not only was the buffet very poor quality, with poor ambiance and poor service, but in conclusion, the buffet we had was extremely, extremely poor value. I do not know about their seafood buffet option that others have praised, option but I strongly recommend against the regular buffet they offer. Also, caveat emptor on any promotions you see them offering!

Underrated buffet. Paid about $150 for two pax for their weekend dinner buffet. The service was great and the food range was commendable. The taste of the food was surprisingly good. The queue for the baked lobster was long but hey, it’s lobster and worth the wait. The restaurant manager was friendly, accommodating and service oriented. Will visit again.

We are recently dined at Window on the Park buffet and enjoyed the delicious food. The quality of the food was excellent, but we believe that expanding the variety of options would greatly enhance the dining experience for our patrons. I would like to commend your staff for their exceptional service. They were incredibly helpful and friendly, catering to our requests with a smile, which our visit all the more enjoyable.
