Let's see where do I start, loved it. Upon entering the establishment it appeared simple yet welcoming. The food starting with the burger was seasoned to perfection, the Sydney patty texture was ok with a few clumps and the Brooklyn patty was great with a uniform texture and it took well to the seasoning. The cheese and sauce, both awesome with a unique flavor. The fries were a mixture of sweet potato and regular fries which gave me a sweet and salty vibe, with the sweet potato fries having the perfect amount of sweetness. I would say regardless of if you're looking for a vegan meal or not, I would definitely put them on your list of restaurants to try.

We were excited to eat at PLANT BAE but the food was not tasty or healthy. See the picture of a piece of PLASTIC deep fried and attached to our “Call me Bae Wings”. Disgusting! And honestly the name and description is VERY MISLEADING. This is no where near plant based. Everything was highly deep fried SATURATED IN OIL. Not healthy in the least (Like “forks over knives”. More like Oil over everything ). I was very disappointed and really wanted to support a vegan establishment but this place is not healthy or tasty AT ALL. If I were you I’d give it a pass and eat a salad from Wholefoods instead. I still wish them success in the future but I for one will NEVER eat there again.

Holy flavor Batman! I eat plant-based but my husband is just getting started eating this way. My goal was to find something that a non-vegan would go nuts over; this is the spot where that dream comes true. I had to get the Philly, it was phenomenal! I actually grew up outside of Philly in a small Italian family and honestly this vegan Philly is better than 99% of the knockoff or imitation Philly cheesesteaks you’ll find. My husband got the cheese bae and loved it. Everything was so flavorful. Their sauce is ridiculous, absolute sorcery, so good! The atmosphere is quaint, lovely and welcoming. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to eat something delicious snd full of flavor. OH and get the cookies, you are welcome!!

So happy to find a vegan restaurant in downtown Montgomery! I ate there twice it was so good. I first tried the chicken sandwich made from mushrooms. Then I had the cauliflower wings and meatball sub. If you’re anywhere near here, check it out!

Plant Bae is currently Montgomery’s only exclusively vegan restaurant. This BOB is located on Lee street in historic downtown Montgomery. The restaurant is modest in size, and styled in modern decor. You can sit inside or outside and enjoy a fabulous plant based meal with cheeky names like Nox Tails or Na’cho Bae. My first thought, was a completely plant based meal couldn’t satisfy me. But I was pleasantly surprised and glad to be wrong. Their most popular item is the Plant Bae burger. So far I’ve tried several dishes, the chicken sandwich, nox tails, cauliflower wings, sea plate, Philly cheese steak, nachos, and burger. 5 stars for the Nacho Bae, very good! They make their own ranch to pair with the nachos instead of sour cream. The beef substitute is good as well. I think this is a great dish as an into to plant based eating. 5 stars for the burger; also a great starter for anyone on the fence. They load it with toppings and their amazing in house sauce. 4 stars for the cauliflower wings; a great snack but I’d just call it fried cauliflower. 4 stars for the hoagie, loaded with veggies and mushrooms it’s tasty, but it doesn’t travel well. Eat this sandwich in-house/asap. 3 stars for the “seafood” plate it’s okay. It’s fried mushrooms with a shrimp style batter and seasoning on them. The fries steal the show however. The apple slaw was a bit too acidic. 2 stars for the nox tails; if you asked me if I wanted mushroom gravy over rice sure. But this was lacking flavor and missing something more that the other dishes have.

The food is plant base and delicious. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich(which again is plant base), it had a little kick but overall the sandwich was very good. Everything we ordered was delicious.

I happened to be in Montgomery for business and saw a billboard for Plant Bae. I didn't believe I read it right, that there was a fully dedicated Vegan restaurant in Montgomery. So I had to stop in. For all Vegans traveling through, it is definitely worth a visit. The Beau Burger is amazing. It has a sweet and savoryness that works together beautifully. Also, those wingz with the ( I think it was dill or ranch sauce) were delightful!

This is sooooooo good. The plant beau burger is astounding. The sauce and the onions. The texture is good, the flavors are good. I can't describe how delicious it was!! I got extra onions and it was worth it. I also ordered a lemonade with lavender and grapefruit. Very gentle flavors and very delicious. I will never forget this restaurant ever. Also, this is coming from a meat loving foodie. Vegan or not, this was to die for. I've ordered it twice now. .... It's been over a year and I still think about this burger. Even as a carnivore no burger has compared. I live nowhere near Alabama and nothing hurts me more than knowing I can't order it again.

I had high expectations considering it being vegan and the prices on everything was unreal. It definitely wasn’t the best. I got a NACHO BAE 12$, THE NOX TAIL 12.50$ had no flavor what so ever. Also got a spicy bae chicken sandwich it was also okay didn’t care for the sweet spicy sauce on it, lemonade was super sweet and a tiger wood, also grabbed some cookies must I mention they was tiniest cookies 3 for 5$ and for a small cup of ranch it was 83¢! all in all our meal was give or take about 50$. The employees started yelling and screaming when 6 o’clock came around I’m assuming they was ready to get out of there.

“Plant Bae” is a 100% Vegan Restaurant located at 175 Lee Street in Montgomery Alabama. First off the location is great because it is very convenient being near the Rosa Parks Museum, Hank Williams Museum, State Capital Building, Downtown River Park, and many other attractions! Parking outside of Plant Bae is metered, abundant, and easy to access. The first thing I noticed walking up to the restaurant was great outdoor seating options and many smiles from all the various people who were dining. The vibe at Plant Bae was immediately welcoming. Once inside you notice more variety of seating options, a cooler with to go items including various house made Sea Moss Gel bottles, and a merchandise rack with cute Tshirts. What I loved about ordering is that Plant Bae has a digital menu that allows you to input your own order. The screen makes it fun and easy to order exactly what you want and exactly the way you want it. You can also place your order with one of the friendly staff members behind the counter. While you wait for your meals (which come out very fast) you’re in luck because Plant Bae offers free Wi-Fi for guests and clearly advertises the password. We ordered the brand new “Soul Roll”, a sweet potato based smoothie, the house made burger with a side of cauliflower wings, and the gluten free Charlie Bae rice bowl. All of the food was SUPERB but I really want to highlight the Soul Roll because I am personally a former cheese lover and this Soul Roll was CHEESEY CHEESEY CHEESEY! The blend of vegan beef crumbles, various cheeses, collard greens, and Mac-N-Cheese in an Egg Roll style wrapper was very enjoyable for me. The prices are very fair for all of the menu offerings and I think non vegans would absolutely love this restaurant too. If you’re having an upcoming event PlantBae can even offering catering for your event! I love this restaurant and I am very happy it exists. Highly recommended 👍🏽👍🏽

Food was good but not enough. Lol. I had their take on soul food. Eric’s Famous Sweet tea was really good. I’d try the Phillycheese Bae next time. Customer service was impeccable. Great job!

Listen!! When I say that this place is amazing, I really mean it. From the A-1 customer service, all the way down to the great tasting meals. From Atlanta where there are plenty of vegan spots. So I definitely recommend this spot😉👍

Philly Cheese Bae was pretty good. The wife had the Plant Beau Burger and she enjoyed it. Not to mention the cauliflower wings was probably the best vegan wings i ever had. And to wash it down was the tasty Tiger Woods!

The place is clean and well kept. There's ton of flyers and information about businesses and events near the front of the restaurant. Now, the food was okay. Some of it was decently flavored, like the Philly Cheese Bae and Mac, and the Cauliflower was well breaded. But in general, the food ultimately lacked depth. For instance, after eating past the breading on the Cauliflower, the Cauliflower itself didn't have much on it to deepen the flavor. It stopped at the breading. Lastly, the service seemed rushed. It was clear they wanted to close the store earlier than the stated closing time, so we quickly ate the food and left.

Very good customer service. Food was good. The philly cheese bae was the best out of the three we had. We tried the Nachos, and quesadilla. Didn't care for the sweet vibe with the quesadilla, but everything else was good. For the price we would have liked the philly to come with fries(the 4 stars, shouldve been 4.5 but not an option)but still pretty good!

When I travel I try to find a plant-based restaurant.. Thankfully @plantbaemgm had exactly what I was looking for! I ordered their famous Philly Cheesesteak with fries! And when I tell you I wasn’t disappointed. Flavorful and a must try. I will be visiting again before heading back to GA.

The dishes on the menu that were cleverly named with the suffix of BAE (Before Anyone Else) to tie it into the restaurant’s namesake. Even the half lemonade and half sweet tea was named to honor the world renowned golfer, Tiger Woods. I ordered the Philly Cheese Bae which was reasonably priced at $10. The hoagie roll was stuffed with beyond meat, sautéed mushrooms and a grilled pepper and onion mix. Queso and vegan mozzarella were generously layered on the sandwich and enveloped the other ingredients. If I had more time in the city, I definitely would have gone back for dinner. It’s safe to say that “I’ve been Bae’d”.

Woah was I wrong about saying that I had the best vegan philly in Richmond, VA. THIS was the best vegan philly I have ever had!!!!!! The seasoning, the bread, the everything!!!!! I hope I get to come back to this area to have this again or they go to a national vegan event like Vegandale!!! Can't recommend this enough!!

It tastes even better than it looks and smells! They put a smile on my face as well as my stomach every time. I’m grateful for plant bae. Both meals combined are less than 25 dollars and we’ll worth it. 5 stars for quality, presentation, service and time! I will be back 💋

Plant Bae is awesome. Everything I have ever ordered there has been so flavorful and delicious (and amazing textures, which is important with vegan food). Everyone is so nice, too. I've only been a few times because I live elsewhere, but I crave it when I'm away!

I was headed back from Florida to Atlanta and saw this restaurant in Montgomery. I was happy to find that it was just a few minutes of a highway, so I didn’t have to go too far out of my way. It was pretty busy, but they had me in and out in 15 minutes. Friendly spot, definitely worth a stop

I stopped here during Mother’s Day weekend while I was visiting Montgomery. I was honestly just checking out the city, and I saw that they had a vegan restaurant! (I’m always searching for vegan cuisine whenever I travel). I stopped in, ordered my food, talked with the staff, and just overall soaked in the atmosphere. I ordered the Big Malc and fries, and on the way home I ate ALL of it! It was so freaking good! It’s two burgers—the Sydney 😊 & the Brooklyn. Both were amazingly paired with the condiments and toppings! I liked both, but the Brooklyn Bae did it for me. The Beyond Meat was suspiciously good! I was in the car tearing it up man! I liked the black bean burger on the Sydney though because it tasted SO good with the fries, bread and house sauce. Even my never-will-be a vegan mother thought it was delicious! Plus I was content with the prices. Good vegan food that ain’t breaking your bank. The place is nice, the staff are cool and friendly, and if I have the time when im back in Montgomery I’ll definitely slide through again!

Delicious! I tried Plant Bae today for the 1st time since my BF moved to Montgomery. I will definitely be trying more things on the menu. I had the Beau Burger and fried pickles with ranch.

Yes, yes, yes! This is Vegan Camelot! My family and I were traveling through Montgomery and had to sample the city's only vegan restaurant. We loved this fare so much that I stopped mid-meal to call the restaurant to compliment them! I'm not going to wax poetic. I'm just going to give this advice -- GO THERE immediately, if not sooner -- you'll thank me later (I'll say, "you're welcome" right now!) 😊😊😊

Was checking for restaurants along the route in Maps when I saw Plant Bae. Was already 18 mi out but turned around because spouse is vegan. When I tell you that the backtrack was worth it? OMG! Food was amazing, menu was enticing (enter: The Nox Tails & Gravy), friendly staff, etc. Just go!

So. Good. Stopped by on a road trip with a friend and we were both so happy and surprised to find delicious and affordable vegan food. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and out of the many I’ve had since going vegan this is probably the best. Portion was awesome for the price. Same with the Mac and cheese, it’s actually creamy and flavorful unlike most of your vegan Macs out there! 12/10 for both. Collards and cornbread were also incredible. The Smoothie Bae was had the silkiest consistency it was like melt in your mouth, I’ve never had a smoothie that creamy. Thankyou Plant Bae, come to NYC! ♥️

Surprisingly delicious! Perfectly seasoned beyond meat pieces, and succulent sautéed onions, mushrooms, and bellpeppers! I HIGHLY recommend!

  • 1/5 O S. 2 years ago on Google
I was hoping this was going to be delicious because Vegan Soul food and all but it was NOT. The mac and cheese was flavorless. The corn bread was a little bigger than a fifty-cent piece and tasted like crumbled fake food. Just plastic. The collard greens were lacking seasoning and so we're the black-eyed peas. The fried pickles were greasy but the only thing I semi-enjoyed along with the little bit of fries that were given and the spicy fried mushroom burger had sauce coming out of everywhere and was not spicy. I was very dissapointed considering it's the only Vegan place in Montgomery. I expected a lot more from a southern food place.
