I just attended a wedding party there... I liked the hotel lobby where I rested for a couple of breaks. I wondered though whether the noise from the wedding party reaches to the guest rooms or not. Good ambience and interior design as a whole. Hotel location is also very good.

Things I liked . The Front Desk Clerk at the reception worked with me when I needed to stay for an additional night : Breakfast was good, location was great. Opportunities for improvement: Room carpet was full of stains, The room had a heavy smoke smell Porters were not very helpful. I needed an umbrella and they had three and would not help! They also had a bit of an attitude The balcony had dust all over I might have been generous with the 3 stars. I leave it up to the reader to decide!

We stayed 8 nights in total. On the plus side: excellent location in Hamra, plenty of restaurants and shops all around (I recommend Cafe Younes for breakfast). The two-room suites are spacious, with very comfortable (and huge) beds, soft and firm pillows, and as we were facing the rear of the hotel, and with the bed in a separate room, nights were very quiet. Wifi worked well throughout our stay, as did the AC (when needed) and TV. It was also great to come back to the hotel after a day of sightseeing and have a kitchenette and comfortable place to relax (in the living space/sofa area). The gym is functional and it's a good size for a hotel. Overall, it's good value for money BUT I wouldn't repeat. Rooms are not clean or well maintained enough for a 4-star hotel. Carpet was dirty from the first day, I asked it to be cleaned but it wasn't and as I never heard a vacuum cleaner during our whole stay, it probably never will. Vertical surfaces in kitchen (fridge and cupboards) dirty and never cleaned, and the balcony table was and remained covered in dust. The shower-head had obviously never been looked at as it was spraying water everywhere. Furniture is old, chipped or worn, sofa and armchair frayed and stained, wooden floor with holes, walls dirty or stained in places (i.e. the room just had a poorly maintained feel to it). Staff are fine but not especially welcoming or friendly, and any requests are ignored or not followed up, you have to insist or ask twice for everything. So not bad to explore Beirut and Lebanon but don't expect 5 or even 4 stars.

Good hotel for the price. It’s in the middle of Hamra city. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. They have a small gym, with basic equipment. I only have 2 complaints, the air conditioning is centrally controlled. My room was very hot and I could not adjust the AC. Also, the street can be a little noise in the weekend due to the weekly wedding parties at the hotel.

Great hotel that has loads of friendly tourists. Especially from Russia and Eastern Europe. Wonderful evenings.

Very good place to stay. A lot of closets to keep your stuff. They also provide basic utensils and iron with the board.

Excellent service. Room was big compared to other hotels. Staff were very helpful, especially at the front desk. Very clean. Location is excellent; a minute away from Hamra Street. I would definitely recommend staying here.

A very clean spacious room. The hotel is located in a quiet place in Hamra, near to everything. 5 minutes walk to Hamra street, 15 minutes walk to Raouche. It worth every cent paid. I advise to book a room without breakfast, as breakfast is unnecessarily too expensive there. You can have a better breakfast in any of the nearby restaurants for maybe only 20% of the hotel's price. For a reason I still don't understand, I was asked to pay for my breakfast on spot rather than adding it to the final bill!!

Well situated and pleasant hotel. A stellar 3 star hotel, a little less than a four star right now. Some of the furnishings are a little worn, the restaurant is spartan, but the gym is refurbished and the salon is OK.

We visited the hotel for a wedding party and the food was good (lebanese) as for the main course (chicken) it was ok but the chicken was super soft which didn't make sense as to how can they cook it so soft, it didn't taste all that great. But the hall was great and all the ambiance was very classy. There was no parking however,m so we parked at Comodor hotel
