I used to stay in this hotel in 2018/19 and it was very clean and the service was good. However, the standards have dropped down a lot. The receptionists were very unprofessional, I checked in and out the receptionist has not said a world to me, not even hello! They also didn't help with the bags. The phones in the room don't work. They cut off the electricity from 3 am to 7 am. They didn't communicate to me that they do that and I had to bring all my suitcases down from the 4th floor at 4 am as I had to go to the airport. When they cut the power off, they don't turn on any emergency lights not even on the stairs. You also lose the WiFi and the hot water in the room. The room was very dirty, especially the carpet and the shower. They need a very deep clean and lots of maintenance work. They also converted the resultant to a night bar so you can imagine the noise that gets to the room. Definitely stay away from it.

1 star is too much for this hotel. First of all, the bathrooms are dirty. The carpet is disgusting. Even the closet is not clean. The service is not good. Workers on reception are really rude. The towels are not clean. The internet is so bad and they change the password every day. They don't have a parking. They park your car in the street. They don't even let you keep your car keys. They keep them just in case someone else comes so they can change the spot of car. This hotel doesn't deserve what is costs. The picture are no what they look like. If I didn't pay online. I would have never went there.

I booked this hotel through Agoda application from 5 to 8 august 2022,i was chocked when i arrived that the electricity will cut from 3 am till 7 am ,chocked by the construction on level 2,chocked by yhe cleanliness of the hotel ,its a very dirty old place .. reception guy didn't know anyhhing about helping to cancel the reservation..was chocked by agoda response to the subject, they wanted the hotel to accept my request for cancellation to refund the money and for sure they wont do,shame on agoda to ljst hotels without even checkkng the quality of it...never. use agoda again, booking is more trusted based kn experience.

Not really a 4-star hotel. When I hit the lobby, I actually thought it looked like a really nice hotel, but it is pretty run down. The bed was big and the shower was hot and clean! I don't think I would want to stay here for longer then one night, but it was decent and a good price. The internet kept dropping and you have to re-enter a rather long sign-in each time it dropped, so this could be one thing they could easily improve. Don't expect a high-class stay here, you pay for what you get.

The hotel is very old and cozy, the area is relatively acceptable but the company that you may have in the hotel is not appropriate.

Not as fancy as some but has air conditioning and all the basic things you need. Inexpensive and close to a market and walking distance to cafes and the Mediterranean. Quiet and had dark curtains that allowed me to sleep because I was not ready for that time difference 🙌

The hotel was cozy, quite and simple. Don't expect Fancy, basic hotel(especially in this Corona time), good for its price. Comfortable big beds. I liked its location. I would like to thank Yaser from the reception front desk for his efforts, as we had to come late at night. He was really helpful.

Horrible hotel, stay away from it. They were doing construction works all day long in the room next door with no warning, no consideration and no apology.

I stayed for 4 nights and it was good. Yes, you have no electricity between 03.00 and 07.00, but that is not a hotel issue. Beds are very nice, rooms are spacious and clean.

SAMI CHOURI I was charged an extra 25 USD per day because as I was told by the receptionist the price I paid didn't include standard hotel services ( such us clean room , clean sheets , toilet paper etc ). The breakfast was not serviced in the dining area ( there is no dining area in this hotel), but was serviced in the room ( it included one egg for two and one Arab style pita .. anything else ( such as coffee had to paid on the spot ). What kind of Breakfast is that ? ? Also the lights were turned off from 4 in the morning up to 7 in the morning without any warning. We were scared in the dark. Τhe air-condition smelled so badly that we couldn't use it.

We were robbed. The bed was clean and comfortable, the carpet was dirty and you could see marks of previous mishaps and the shower cubicle... Sides were hanging off so you end up splashing the whole place. But the staff were attentive and courteous.

A truly authentic Hotel that was originally built to serve the Emperor himself. Yes, the rooms are on the small size, yet they are clean and very functional. They were built at a time when people hadn't the head-sizes we often sport today. Realistically if you are for looking for a clean safe bed with secure facilities, and good solid ablutions as a base for travel and exploration, this is the place for you. The hotel has wonderful helpful and friendly staff. It sports authentic local menus. It is Ideally located next to Hamra and its an easy stroll to Downtown. The seafront is less than a 10 min walk. If you value culture, there are many gems to be discovered in and around this hotel. For me... my stay there was an experience of a lifetime, one I will always remember with fondness.

Very nice staff Even though I have arrived earlier than the check-in time they let me take the room. (Check-in time here at 14:00) Everything is clean as it should. But be careful when you want to booking online even if you have booked a room with double bed you have to put 2 guests. The prices for 1 or 2 guests is the same on the most of the booking websites. if you forget to choose 2 guests they will charge you 10$ extra for the 2nd guest(they didn't charged me that and that was nice of them)

Just terrible, the staff are inpolite except Mr Afif the best guy in the hotel. The rest are soo rude specially when they leave the bill to get high and never ask the habitant to pay his bill in the way they should...and when they ask for the bill they shout at clients, ans insult them infront of the rest of the people, and never care for respect. As well as one of the staff his name is "Dani" try to call people i called from the hotel inorder to make a personal relation with them. Just terrible!
