Pure animal abuse, three big tortoises in a five meters enclosure without water, shadow or comfort. I am amazed that the animal protection of the city does nothing about this horrible situation. What a shame

The Kwan Tee Pagoda is actually the oldest pagoda in the southern hemisphere. It is the birthplace of Chinese culture in Mauritius. Anyone can go and visit, the hours are form 6am to 1pm so get there early. There is some parking outside the pagoda and along the street as it is a wide street. The ancestors are remembered with tablets and the first one was placed here in 1841.

Chinese worship place (Pagoda). Before entering this place you can feel the good vibes and silence. It's well maintained, cleaned and very attractive.

Always inspiring and inspirational to come to the Kwan Tee pagoda. It is a fixed part of our annual activities for Chinese spring festival. Recommended to visit while you are in Port Louis.

👍👍 Nice central area that actually links different buildings and regions of Caudan through this area. There were more umbrellas installed previously, but seems like they’ve greatly reduced that. There’s a couple of food vendors and the odd busker too on occasion. Still, the colourful umbrellas on a...

😐 Lovely park with some imposing, beautiful trees. Nice to walk throughout the day and you can hear the birds chirping, which is relaxing. Not safe to walk in and around after dark, however and could do with a bit of maintenance.
