    Fairly large place with a fairly grandiose interior, well maintained overall. Possibility of continuing a little further towards the Marian grotto of Mvolye, also a place of prayer with a pleasant and soothing setting.

    Beautiful achievement by Archbishop Emeritus Jean Zoa, enthroned at the top of Mvolye one of the many hills of the city of Yaoundé in a green setting and steep relief. Built in the 1990s, this basilica is generally in great demand to host religious weddings and is a place of pilgrimage where visiting the Marian grotto is one of the main attractions for Catholic Christians. With its original architecture, this work of breathtaking beauty requires renovation work around thirty years later to allow it to regain its former glory in order to conform to what its author had dreamed of.

    Basilica of Mary Queen of Apostle is I think the biggest catholic church in the Center region of Cameroon, Yaoundé to be precise. It has a very big parking space that can take up to 100 cars or more. As a catholic Christian, it is my favorite worship house, they have good and welcoming Reverend Fathers. It is also a favorite place for young couples to organize their weddings, no matter the language.

    A beautiful and big Catholic cathedral in Yaounde, the capital of Cameron. Masses are held in French, English and the local Bolo language.

👍 Cameroon's Reunification Monument was constructed in the 1970s to memorialize the post-colonial merging of British and French Cameroon. Located in Yaounde, it was designed by Gedeon Mpondo and Engelbert Mveng. Another reunification monument, albeit far less well-known, is located in Mamfe.
