It’s just not me look at the other reviews, for takeout they put the spaghetti in a cup. That’s only half the problem , there is absolutely no taste to the sauce. I’m guessing he buys his sauce the same place prisons buy tomato sauce. If you ever wondered what prison food taste like go to this place! This is absolutely the worst spaghetti I have ever had at a restaurant. I can’t even think of anything in a jar or a microwave dinner that will taste this bad.

We doordashed from this place yesterday and it was so disgusting it made me write a review. The food is ungodly inedible and the meatballs are not cooked. It comes so unsanitary. Just protect you and your family and go somewhere else. Idk if these positive reviews are from biased family and friends but this place is GROSS

I recall going here when I was little, and as a young adult. Several years ago I’d gone and wasn’t so pleased. If I recall the sauce was just not so good at the time, it seemed quite watered down. However last week I called in an order, I got the rigatoni stuffed with cheese and an extra meatball. All I can say is YUM! There was plenty of food and a couple slices of the best bread ever! I’m so glad I got take out only because I fear I would have gotten another order and ate way too much ! I can’t wait to go back soon ! I did find it a bit odd that my food was in a very large cup, however……. At least I knew it wasn’t going to spill and make a mess in my car and it had no impact of the deliciousness of my food!

Ordered the large speghett and a large rigatoni both came with 2 slices of bread and a packet of cheese and meatball (the meatball needs a new recipe) the sauce has changed from the last time we got this and that was years ago, with ownership change comes changes in the recipe, I was more of a fan of the original sauce but this sauce is okay, the cost for a large is $9.00 and a small is $8.00 (attached photo of current menu as of July 10th 2021.

I love this place, my girlfriend showed me The Roosevelt for the first time about 25 years ago, she knew it well because her family went alot when she was young. In my opinion, it's very cozy and laid back, the food is homemade, the staff is relaxed and nice. It's decor reminds me of how places used to be when I was growing up. I love how it is almost exactly the same as the first time I went, I would choose their relaxed "old school" atmosphere over any "fancy" Italian restaurant any day.

I lived in Bellaire 20 years ago. Today traveling through the area we stopped and ate lunch. It was great as ever. Stop by for the best home made pasta and sauce.

Nice place with good prices and good service and you can. Call in and they'll have your order ready when you come down. And also you can dine in and to have a takeout order ready for you when you leave. And I recommend this place for a nice dinner out if you don't want to spend too much

Our hometown go to for homemade pasta. Bread is fresh, service is great. Delicious meat balls, homemade pasta is a treat, sauce is original and delicious. 😋

Been here a few times over the last couple of years. The sauce would've been good, but there was so much water, you can sail the ocean blue in it.

Ordered gnocci and a salad. Both were delivered in a styrofoam drink cup. Gnocci was just one big clump and the sauce tasted like it came out of a can. It was not edible.
