😠 Saw our waitress 'Hitch' twice, when took order & when came time to pay bill. Many staff to be seen, and place wasn't overly busy, but no one checked once to see if we needed any thing once food delivered (not by 'Hitch'). We had the beef tacos, good but SOO Spicy. We waited quite awhile, despera... People often mention good, staff, time, great, service, server, waited, restaurant, long,

Saw our waitress 'Hitch' twice, when took order & when came time to pay bill. Many staff to be seen, and place wasn't overly busy, but no one checked once to see if we needed any thing once food delivered (not by 'Hitch'). We had the beef tacos, good but SOO Spicy. We waited quite awhile, desperate for a refill on water, then finally had to go to kitchen ourselves to ask. When a staff came to bring the water they placed on table and left so fast we didn't get chance to ask for anything else. As an aside, and this is not part of our review, but their menu is very limited so if you don't eat meat, there won't be anything on this menu for you.

Lost item. We called and they said they would send an e-card. Onion rings (side order) were over cooked. Not edible. My steak was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside (asked for medium rare) About 25% of my steak was fat. Chicken strips for my grandson were dry. Wife's steak was OK. (Medium). Deep- fried pickles were good. All in all this meal being our Valentine's Dinner really sucked. We won't be back.

It was quiet when we arrived but no one was there to greet us. The bar staff saw us but did nothing. We waited but still no one. I finally had to go in the bar and ask one of the worker if we could be seated. We were. And waited some more. Our server was cheerful when she arrived and served us well. The fajitas were good and portion was generous. Well done on now serving halal chicken!

This place is never busy and after visiting a few times I finally realized why.. the food isn't great and tends to be overpriced for the quality.

I went to this restaurant on May 21, 2022. What a disappointment. The bill was 94.42$. 2 adults and 2 children. We ordered two dishes. Let's go to the commentary: 1 - The service was very good. The waitress was attentive and nice. 2 - The food: I think we went on the day that the chef was absent. Order 1 - 11oz Top Sirloin - It was totally tasteless, no salt, no seasoning. The experience was not the most pleasant. Order 2 - Full Rack of Ribs - Again, no taste, no salt, no seasoning. The side dishes, even worse. We ate the whole thing, because we were hungry. Another important comment: the list of side dishes was ridiculous. I asked for mashed potatoes, didn't have any, rice, didn't have any. There was only salad and fries. Conclusion: I don't recommend this restaurant. The food was very bad, and we still paid a lot of money. I know that I went to a chain restaurant and I intend never to go back, wherever it is.

Really quite shocked at the quality of the food here. Did discuss with our server who was pleasant and a manager came over. Explained to the manager who then reduced the price of the food by 25% but really with the quality of my food (steak enchilada) they should have given it to me complimentary. It was half eaten. The enchiladas were dry and the steak was rubbery and chewy. Really this doesn’t live up to the brand. We then had to go elsewhere and find food at 9pm at night because if you can’t make an enchilada why would I order anything else here. Horrible. I don’t complain, but really!

Probably good for other food, but not recommended for Mexican. Curly fries were great. Chimi was deep fried which should have meant crispy on outside but they put lots of stuff including cheese on top of all that crispy goodness and make it rubbery. I asked for it to be crispy with everything on the side and they still melted cheese all over it in microwave probably since it was no longer crispy. Wait staff was excellent and offered to get me another which I declined. That aside, the filling was generous and good. Just not to our taste for Mexican. You can decide for yourself!

The hostess at the front is very friendly and accommodating. My daughter fell outside when we were walking in the staff member ( didn’t catch her name ) went above and beyond to make her feel better she made a bad situation much better with her kindness . Service is good , food is average ( typical of what you would expect from a chain establishment) the customer service was excellent today maybe they had extra staff on due to the holiday weekend.

I ordered a Caesar wrap with grilled chicken and in the wrap had a piece of brown lettuce. It disgusted me out and I never finished the meal. I noticed that in the first half of the wrap. The waiter was nice and understanding. He offered our table great service. I’ve never had an issue with any other Lone Star location.

I had the seasonal brisket tacos, and added a fajita boat to it. It was good. Staff was friendly, good environment

The food was good. The chicken strips were a bit too oily. They took pretty long time to serve the food. Just the onion rings and chicken wings took a lot of time. The staff were very polite and friendly, it's just the service can be improved 😊

Service was excellent but we were there early. Food took long time to arrive. Chips and salsa excellent as always freshly cooked there. My shrimp tacos good but cold. Hubby sandwich minced not sliced pork cold and tasteless, but they prepared him a chicken sandwich, which he said was great. Kudos to staff

My boyfriend and I came to sit on the patio for an early meal and drink with our 4 month old son. Firstly, I don’t like leaving bad reviews but it was quite disappointing. We got our chips and drinks (only appetizing part) and ordered our food. The man delivering the food didn’t know what table the food was going to to begin with. My boyfriends fries were absolutely cold and gross. My taco salad was nothing to spectacular, but the unusual part was the waitress left the cold fries there after she gave him new ones. She didn’t clear the empty drinks and was quite slow. We also waited a long time for our change after paying the bill, which personally was ridiculous for the quality. The waitress and other staff were just standing inside talking and she handed my boyfriend a wack load of change. Hire staff that knows what they are doing and have customer service. This is our last time attending this restaurant, and personally I find all Lone Star restaurants are this horrible.

This was our first time in a very long time, (10+ years), since we've been to a Loan Star Texas Grill restaurant. The atmosphere and appearance was pretty much what we expected. What we didn't expect was the lack of staff? Mind you it was a Wednesday night around 9:15pm, but still!? We had to wait quite a while for someone to appear to even seat us. However, once seated our server was very pleasant and attentive. Our meals came quite quickly and were very good. Our only disappointment was with the high prices. I had the Fish Taco, and an ice tea, my wife had the Cripy Shrimp Tacos, & a glass of water, and the bill with tip was $60!!!! We weren't expecting prices like this! Which unfortunately will make us think twice before choosing Loan Star Texas Grill again.

Finally treated better. They were ignoring people at the door. I think it may have something to do with new manager "chips"! If it is; then they finally got someone who cares. Secondly they have a fantastic waitress during the week called Savana. A young girl at the door was also great on Sunday. She spent the time to share all info on the new products even though we were not really interested but she was so good at it being chipper and just so joyful we had to listen. Other managers really do not make you feel welcome etc. The new one is great - even the wait staff think she is very good at being inspiring and also always happy! The fellow manager used to stand at door like a lump and took more interest at making sure the TVs were on than seating. That should have been done BEFORE the doors opened so that since he was in the area - he could have sat us without the drama which I then created. I have walked out in the past when no one greats us. I believe they owe that to us and a Hello with NO excuses. A thank you out the door is nice too. Basically it is the School of "The Mandarin" 101.

Great chain of restaurant we keep returning to and on this occasion I tried their quesadilla which I was hoping will not be as bland but a bit spicier as you find it at another chain of restaurants in USA called Chilli's. A bit of spice is always great, although personally I cannot eat anything super spicy. The rest of my party was happy with their meals, but again, big boys are very easy to please, right? Next time I will have this meal I will ask them if they can add some spicy peppers.

We ate dinner here during busy dinner hours. Our server Smoke, was very engaging, had great fun energy and very knowledgeable on the menu. His service made out experience memorable. The food was delicious as were the drinks, but smoke is definitely the reason for this review! Great job and thank you for the great experience!

Honestly, everything was good, but what sold me on this place was our waiter, he was amazing. He sat and listened to us chat for a minute, it felt more personal than usual restaurants.

Great location. Friendly staff. Lots of free parking. Food was fresh and hot. No complaints except that it was understaffed today and we saw other tables leave after waiting 10 minutes and no service. We stayed and our server was very appreciative. He gave us free guacamole so patience paid off. Hope they fix the staffing issues because the food is the best Tex Mex with their fresh homemade shells.

Went for a late lunch yesterday and was very disappointed. The restaurant was empty and the service was incredibly slow. The amount of time we waited between ordering our drinks and our food was very unreasonable. However, it was start of a new shift so we tired to be patient. Then our food took a long time and when it finally did come out most of it was cold and you could tell it had been sitting under the heat lamps for a while. We were there for soo long and most of our time was spent waiting. I'm hoping this was a new years day holiday on off.

This review is mixed due to the wait for our meal, not the service received from the server. We were seated right away, drink order was quick, and our order was promptly taken. Then we waited. And waited. And waited some more. Our server "Trouble 338" checked on us several times and apologized for the delay. It took an hour for most of our party's food to arrive. Add another 10 minutes for the last person's food to make it to the table. Again the server was great. At the end, she handed me the bill with a 25% discount for the wait. Not sure what caused the delays in the kitchen. Maybe it was short staffed, but the restaurant wasn't that busy for our visit. The server made the difference here by providing great customer service. Great job "Trouble 338", not great job kitchen staff.
