My husband and I had a wonderful stay here! The rooms are super clean, comfortable, spacious and stylish. The staff are so friendly and welcoming! The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was especially lovely to deal with! Breakfast was also delicious and generous. I would recommend staying here to anyone and hope to stay again in the future.

Unsure why but Belleville is pricy for hotels. That said, this place was pretty good. Generally clean, though some what looks like black mold in the corners of the shower. Breakfast was good and met expectations easily. Checkout was a breeze. Service was good.

We had booked a room for October 8th and arrived around 10:00pm. The front desk was helpful but did advise that we had the last room as it was a busy night. When we entered the room it was extremely dirty. Significant staining on the rug and the markings in the toilet made it clear that the cleaning staff may have missed the room. It was not suitable to stay in and we went to the front desk. The girl tried, but in fairness, there was no other rooms available. She apologized and advised that she would leave a note the next day for the manager to refund our money. We slept that night in our vehicle in a rest area n the Michigan border. Since that time the hotel has refused to offer a refund as they are treating our visit as a cancellation. It was not a cancellation, it was a refusal to stay in a dirty room. Very disappointed.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel as we visited the area to celebrate our 20th anniversary. This hotel is locally owned and operated, and the pride of ownership definitely shows. The facilities were clean, well kept, tastefully renovated/decorated and the staff were friendly and professional. In scanning comments left by previous guests, we brought a small fan to provide us with the white noise we have come to rely on to sleep. (Long time sleep deprived parents here that were enjoying their first ever trip without crying, screaming or arguing children!) While the mattress may not have been our preferred firmness/softness, it was still comfortable and nothing to complain about. The pillows were not ridiculously soft, nor ridiculously firm – comfortable and, again, acceptable. We sadly even witness a guest speaking to the front desk staff in a deplorable demeanor –she was just down right condescending and rude – and yet the staff remained as cool and collected as they were with any other guest. Kudos to them for being so calm when dealing with a “know it all” Karen! My only disappointed was that apparently rooms cannot accommodate a family of 5; otherwise, we were reserving a room at check-out for a return trip in August! The hotel is conveniently located on what appears to be a major road of Belleville, minutes away from stores, restaurants and highway 401 as well as approximately 30 minutes from the Prince Edward County wineries, breweries and Sandbanks. Most definitely a hotel I would recommend to family and friends in a heartbeat!

Clean but basic rooms. Breakfast area was ridiculously overcrowded especially considering covid is still an issue and is airborne. There are signs everywhere telling you to keep your distance and not touch railings etc so bit of a disconnect with reality there. If they extended breakfast by 30-60 minutes this issue could be greatly alleviated. As well, the use of plastic cutlery and paper plates is extremely wasteful and environmentally unfriendly. Hard to believe hotels are still getting away with this.

I liked this hotel overall. It is really well located, very clean and comfortable. The only thing that could be improved is the service. The service definitely isn't bad it's just a bit disengaged. There's no effort made to go above and beyond. I asked for two blankets, one for each bed and I was told they could only give me one (I eventually got two) and I'd have to come down to get it myself. There was also no bedding or pillows in the room for the sofa bed when the hotel knew we would be using it. Overall good but the service could be improved.

First time being there with bf, and it was amazing. Loved the breakfast in the morning , and I might take my grandson for a night. He would love the pool. I would highly recommend.

Great hotel, the room was large, clean and the breakfast had enough choices to have a full breakfast. 👍

Altho we live in PEC we were attending a wedding in Belleville and didn’t want the hassle of trying to get a cab home and opted to make a night of things. We were also able to bring our dog, as the hotel is pet friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable, and as described. Parking was safe and easily accessible from the building. We took advantage of the breakfast and coffees in the morning as well. All in all they met our expectations and would stay again.

Modern, clean, simple place. A great location off the 401 and close to many restaurants. A good price at $130 all in compared to other places. Breakfast pre made omellete is tasty and the staff are polite and helpful.

My wife and I traveled from 7 hours north with intentions on coming to town, taking care of business and then making SOME trail back.. The weather decided to change our plans and we booked with this hotel. The staff were very nice and pleasant to deal and speak with. They were nice enough to allow us to even drop our trailer so we could get into a local restaurant easier. Located at an intersection so it's easy to get in and out of the busy road. Rooms were nice and clean. Showers had good pressure. Breakfast was good, nice seating area. Would recommend

The front desk needs to work on their communication skills. I asked multiple times how long they stay was for and they had given me the wrong information, I should have known better due to the lack of eye contact when I was speaking. which led me to have to leave before my travels were over. When I went to them with the issue brush it off as if it was not their problem. Poor management. Poor customer service. Poor experience basically don't rely on the people at the front desk!

Convenient location close to the highway and many restaurants. Very clean and friendly. We thought it was a great value. Had the feeling it is family owned and staff were lovely

This hotel is one of the worst places I've ever been in Canada !! We found hairs in the bed sheets, the bed sheets were very humid! We asked the staff to do something about the humidity in the room but they say it's normal! The staff wasn't really helpful nor very accommodating to the humidity and cleanliness of the room ! The rooms are not equipped with fully sun blocking curtains! The windows don't stop a lot of the noise from the road. So if you like to sleep in a room with a very bad humidity smell, wanna a bad sleep and a bad breakfast, then you've found your place !

Great hotel. Clean rooms. Jut one thing is that it has only 1 elevator for the 4 floors. U will have to wait sometime or use the stairs. Other than that all is good.

When I called to book the room I was told by an agent that we need late check out because we are working and I don't want to book if the late check out is not guaranteed. He promised that we will have late check out option, until 3pm and it will be free of charge. When we came to a hotel we were told that we cannot do late check out and to talk to a manager in the morning. In the morning after long conversation with a manager he offered us late check out for a 50 cad fee. In the end we were moved to a meeting room to work from there. It was very uncomfortable since we had a baby with us. That was bad and stressful experience. Also, the toilet water tank in the room was broken and we couldn't to sleep all night. Breakfast was very good.

We enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast had nice options. Staff were friendly. The room is spacious, fridge, microwave, tv. A/c works well, it’s loud but that’s what earplugs are for. There is some wear and tear, small cleaning items that could improved on but overall we felt felt safe and comfortable.

Even if you check out at 6am, they still charge you for the night. Any decent hotel would refund you if it's that early in the morning. Rooms were nice, staff was polite. Breakfast was unfortunately very low quality for the price you pay/night. I was expecting food that did look like plastic. Unfortunately, they waste a massive amount of plastic tableware instead of providing clients with re-usable porcelain dishes.

Hotel Staff was great ! Amenities were as described and very clean and the Buffet was great value for the buck along with great variety to choose from ! Negative: Booking was transfered to US ( Expedia ) when I called started at $122.00 CAN ...they charged me 14.99 booking fee ? Then room charge to another were at another fee of over 170 when added on ! Need to get this reviewed! Feeling ripped off !

Are stay was excellent would have enjoyed bacon in morning as we don't like sausages. We were very pleased with the room nice and clean and comfortable bed. Pleasant stay and friendly staff. I give this hotel a excellent stay thank you Bonnie and Ricco.

Fantastic hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows. And the breakfast? Unmatched. You get a selection of cereals, eggs, sausage, waffles, baked beans, potatoes, toast, bagels, the works. For the price, you can't beat it.

Edited to add: It seems that each negative review is met with a similar response of "too bad this happened, we hope you'll give us another chance"... I would be more inclined to give another chance if my complaints were addressed specifically and concretely. The main reason we chose this hotel was for the pool for our children. When we stayed a while ago the pool was nice and warm but this time it was freezing cold. I spoke to two staff members, both friendly but couldn’t help. I was told the pool was on a centralized system. It was not enjoyable for swimming. There were no towels in the pool area and when we requested some a few were put out but not enough for everyone. The shower would blast hot water every once in a while even when set to warm. Aside from that, there was garbage from a previous guest under the bed in our room and there weren’t enough sheets to make up the pull out bed. The toilet also didn’t work. The breakfast was very average and the amount of waste produced by using paper plates and plastic cutlery every morning for every guest is upsetting. It made me not even want to eat there thinking if all the garbage produced each day when it would be easy just to have a dishwasher and regular plates/cutlery. Based on this stay, I wouldn’t return. I will say that all of the staff were very polite, that was the one bonus.

Overall we had a very normal stay at a normal road side hotel. The rooms were clean and nice and the bed was comfortable. Although the shower was dripping and the toilet would run until you jiggle the handle during the middle of the night. The coffee was cold all evening in the lobby and breakfast in the morning was rather tasteless but not too bad. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The cost was very moderate. Parking was easy to get in and out of and well lit. Nice place, not five stars.

Excellent stay! Free breakfast (sausages are 💯), rooms were spacious & clean, our room even had a microwave & fridge (deep enough to fit takeout!) which is unheard of. They have contactless checkout which made it so effortless. No issues at all during our visit. 😊

We really enjoyed our stay - great location, the room was clean and spacious. The AC unit was a bit loud, other than that we have no complaints. Breakfast was also good, lots of options - it was super convenient to have that onsite. Suggest swapping pork sausages for bacon and/or turkey links. Staff were super nice and helpful too!

Fairly new but could be a lot cleaner. Bathroom floor grout and shower grout are absolutely disgusting. No bathroom ventilation… the mold party has already started! Room furniture is from 1-star hotel. Breakfast below average. Pass.

We stayed at this hotel during our vacation at sandbanks as it was a 30 minutes drive to the beach and had breakfast included. The room was good and spacious, however the AC unit was not functional when we checked in, and the room had a humidity odor. (mainly due a non functional AC ). Carpet was old and the bed side beddings were dirty. The rest of the room was clean and the sheets were clean as well. Once advised of the AC issue, the tech came into the room pretty quickly and resetted the switch which solved the issue. Breakfast was very generous and the seating area was cleaned regularly. Food was fresh and there was a good variety (eggs, sausages, fruits and cereal and bread) The inside pool area was clean and the pool was as well. Hotel is well situated, surrounded by restaurants and fast food chains. Service was courteous and the hotel staff were seen cleaning the common areas on a regular basis. The hotel is dog friendly which is a bonus. Maybe in the future and before customers check in, ensure that everything works in the room, in order to avoid similar mishaps.

Great hotel. Clean, updated, spacious rooms. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to converse. Pool was clean (although highly clorinated, but to be expected). Free breakfast was awesome! Hot items such as eggs, bacon and sausages. They even had a waffle station! We were there for a concert at The Empire Theatre and picked it due to it's location. We'd stay there again, for sure.

Check in and Check out was easy. Room was clean and modern looking. Toilet would go off every 15 mins for some odd reason so kept waking up my wife. Pool was closed for an unknown reason but the breakfast in the morning was great. Asked for a printed copy of my bill but printer wasn't working so I was suppose to get an emailed copy, never got it. Overall is was a pleasant stay and would consider it again in the future but its the little things that might keep other people from coming back. Attention to detail is key when you have lots of competitors in the area.
