While
working
hard
to
reach
a
much
delayed,
life
goal
of
pursuing
a
career
in
law
enforcement,
I
pushed
myself
to
what
some
would
have
considered
a
breaking
point.
Scared
to
be
rejected
based
on
my
age,
I
continued
to
run
and
work
through
an
injury.
When
I
could
no
longer
perform,
I
reached
out
humbly
for
assistance.
Thankfully
the
organization
that
I
am
an
auxiliary
with
jumped
into
action
and
found
me
a
physiotherapist.
I
will
admit
I
was
sceptical
and
worried
that
recovery
was
going
to
be
a
long
road.
To
my
surprise,
after
one
week
I
was
back
to
running.
It
was
the
first
time
I
was
able
to
run
in
4
weeks.
It
was
the
first
time
in
6
weeks
that
I
didn’t
feel
pain
in
my
ankle
and
calve.
Stephan
is
easy
to
talk
to,
his
open
mind
and
sense
of
humour
allows
you
to
be
honest
about
how
you’re
really
feeling
and
the
pain
level
you’re
experiencing.
He
is
quick
and
honest
about
the
road
ahead,
and
you
can
tell
he
is
personally
invested
in
you’re
goal
and
recovery.
Tara
is
the
breath
of
fresh
air
that
will
welcome
you
with
a
smile
and
encourage
you
along
the
way.
It
was
her
blatant
honesty
that
caught
the
attention
of
the
individual
looking
after
my
file.
Thank
you,
two
the
both
of
you
for
your
time
and
investment
into
a
life
goal.
