    i was in the other day and witnessed the staff treat these two women of colour absolutely horribly. nobody greeted them, spoke to them, instead they crowded around and all stared at them while they were looking around to buy things. this behaviour from grown adults is disgusting and it disgusts me that i had to watch this happen. do better.

    I've never had the best luck with the shoe department at this location but I needed shoes and I figured they'd have the best selection. While they certainly have lots on display, I couldn't find any staff to get me any. I stood there for 5 - 10 minutes without seeing ANY staff besides the cashier. I shouldn't have to search for a staff member to help me in a store that big when it wasn't even super busy. Staffing seems to always be an issue here, they seem to either be understaffed or the staff actively avoids customers.

    Usually come here for skate sharpenings. But any time the tech isn’t there they always screw it up! This was the last straw. Had my skates done on some used steel I had picked up. And they came back to me rounded off!! Not only is this a bad skate sharpening, but it is completely unsafe!!!! Will no longer allow untrained high schoolers sharpen my skates. Show them how to use it properly or don’t let them at all.

    Just spent 1000 dollars on golf set . Hour drive to find out they didn't take the security tags off the clubs . Every club has one . Now have to take a 2 hour round trip to remove. Belleville store train your staff ridiculous

    It's a horrible store. The lighting is terrible the set up is not good. Hard to find the items you are looking for.

    Sportchek Skate shop: Andrew and Jake. Unreal service! Went into their store in a panic because I blew an old steel blade on my TotalOne skates, game the next morning. Hockey tournament in town and flew in to play, so I know nothing. They don’t have the blades I need but they call around to all the local skate shops and stay on hold with me to tell them all the proper info. The Hockey Stick Man dug through his stock and found the proper size (slim chance he found some used ones), I ran over bought those and brought it back to sportchek where they took like an hour to clean up the blades, put them on my skates and sharpen them. Just unreal service and great people, makes me feel at home! Thank you!

    The young fellow who helped me purchase my new runners, was very knowledgeable, especially for shoes that would work with my orthotics. He was patient and very kind. He certainly did not try or let me buy high priced shoes that wouldn't benefit my needs. My shoes were on clearance. Thanks bud!!

    I went to buy Chuck Taylor's Converse shoes, and asked an employee for help. She insisted I was not the right gender to buy high tops and almost outright refused to help me. I tried to reason and tell her that every source of media says the shoes are unisex from Wikipedia to Converses own website, but she wouldn't budge on the fact I wasn't the right gender. I wish I had just shopped online, this encounter was recorded on my personal body cam.

    Good store. Lots of selection. Prices were on the high side, but they always are. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Store was neat and tidy.

    Lacks variety , low stocks, and most of the time I can’t find what I’m looking for. Pathetic! Better deals & prices online at Sport Chek . Better to shop online! But you will have to adjust your location to another sport chek. This Belleville location does not have a good variety. When we went into this Sport Chek recently for shoes, the staff (two of them) at the shoe department never helped us. They were around and in and out of the stock room but they didn’t care to step in, ask if we needed any help . We were the only ones there. I think it was because it was 15-20 min before closing. But customers should always come first regardless of the time. They should improve their customer service and product inventory.

    This will be fun. So, I went into this store looking for a specific item. The first person that worked at the store when asked stated that if they had the item it would be st the front. (I already checked that area out ) nope. So she asked another employee, he said I don’t know, yawning then said baby in footwear. I went to foot wear. Asked one employee he said he didn’t know so he asked another and he stated that they don’t carry that item. I then showed it to him on their website on my phone. “Oh, we haven’t had that for a while now “. I finally found a manager asked her and she said they are right here. I bought it! WOW!

    Fairly small for a sportschek, nice selection of balls and well organized. Seasonal clearance items were scattered. Not much staff available on floor to help out, had to hunt one down to get a ball off a shelf - looked one right in the eyes and she turned around like she was avoiding the floor. Took me a good 5 to find someone who wanted to help this the 3 start rating.

    I don’t know where to start my experience. It was not great at all. We were planning to get some many new clothes from them but didn’t because the staff were so rude and disrespectful to us. They did not care to help and the manager was the worst for the disrespect. We only got disrespected and attitude. The cashiers were good though with trying to help the best they could. I would not go back and would shop somewhere else.

    Great shopping experience today! Charlotte and Matthew, what an impressive team they are, huge asset to the company. I mostly dealt with Charlotte, she's knowledgable, courteous, helpful with a super positive attitude. Delighted to see these 2 young people being thoughtful and so patient with us seniors.     I spend over $300 got the the cash to pay wow the cashier BO was so bad I had to put my mask one and wanted to charge me $2 for a bag manager should be telling there staff the entire store stunk pretty bad
