One look at the Google Maps satellite view here, and it’s easy to see why this park is so popular with locals and visitors! Out of the huge urban sprawl of concrete and rooftops, here’s a big beautiful green spot on the map! El Dorado Park is like several parks together as one, all within easy access of the freeways! Park on the west side of the park, off Studebaker Rd for free and have access to all the amenities of the City of Long Beach side! For spur of the moment visit’s, it’s a cinch to stop by one of the many available take-out food stops nearby to gather up lunch for a picnic. Here, there’s park facilities, activities, events, open space and areas for just about all games to play! The park includes several baseball, softball and soccer fields, courts for basketball, volleyball, roller hockey, and tennis. There’s a skatepark park, also used for BMX fun! A cool, tree lined disk golf course is at the north end, a traditional golf driving range and an 18 hole course is at the south end. A portion of the traditional course continues to the northeast side. The large white pavilion or marquee tent at the south end parking lot may be rented for private functions, weddings and receptions. Overall maintenance of the park is good! Trash containers are placed around the park, so disposing of trash shouldn’t be a problem. Restrooms are available, tho may be a bit messy when the park is crowded. Busy weekends and holidays may involve early planning for the west side of the park, especially securing a parking spot and table. Street parking is also available, tho may be few and far between! Otherwise, the peace of mind toting supplies to family picnics and group gatherings may be made easier with the paid parking lots of the LA County operated Regional Park side. There’s both open and covered picnic tables, chairs and grassy spots and are usually within close reach of parked vehicles and more available picnic spots.

Fantastic park with two lakes, numerous rivers and lush foliage and tree canopy for 2 mile and 1 mile hikes. Enjoy the squirrels, ducks, turtles, pelicans and abundant life in this exciting land preserve. Annual passes are quite reasonable for seniors, on 35 dollars for a calendar year.

The best of the LB courses. Tight course requires accuracy off the tee, otherwise you're in jail. Greens are in decent shape and recently they have been much faster. POP is good here.

I love this park! There's a lovely duck pond where you can feed the birds (just watch out for the geese!) On the other side of the pond you can take the kids to play at the playground. Really great park!

At El Dorado Park, a big park the covers a lot of territory in East Long Beach. Many park benches and tables. Golf course, baseball field, etc., There is also Nature Park enclosed. A lot fun for everyone.

This is A great clean skatepark. Plenty of covered viewing seating. My eight year love this skatepark, because the course isn't too Extreme. The play area is adjacent, along with the softball fields😎😎😎

Attended an after funeral morning until 2 pm reception in one of their white tents next to the golfing greens. The round tables had white table cloths on them & the room nicely decorated & private. You forgot you were inside a tent. The food buffet table was set up & there was another table with ice water, ice tea & hot coffee plus there was a bar & bartender. The tables had place settings on them with black linen napkins. The workers refilled the food buffet & saw if anything was needed. A podium was set up near the screen where the life of my friend was shown in photos. I'm sure the family also supplied the non stop old school R&B music my friend loved & perhaps the microphone. I could see this tent room used for various parties, showers & receptions.

Since the rangers were removed, it's full of hood idiots blasting bass all weekend. Homeless are making encampments and even a maintenance worker was stabbed by a transient. I wouldn't go anymore unless you want to sit next to the dredges of society. Way to go mayor. You save that 69k a year!

I'm here about 5 days a week. The weekends aren't AS fun due to all the people and their mess so I work around that and go M-F. My pup loves it and we walk both sides for a few mile walk/jog in nature.

Fantastic. Summer is here when the Long Beach Mumnismal Band is back @ 4 parks a week for 6 weeks. Just a great place for picnic dinner & relaxing under the trees for a few hours of fun, listening to the great band

Had a great time here. Fairways are not that great as we're heading into winter. Pace was ok. Restaurant and driving range are top notch.

A very nice sports area. Actually free compared to the Eastern portion and the Nature Center. Be a bit aware of your surroundings in the southern sections though. The Disc Golf area is especially novel and wildly used, while the tennis center seems lively

I've only stopped to use the restroom at the park. They just finished replacing the urinals and toilets inside. Very good job...!

I was empressed with the shape of the course. The greens rolled smoothly, and the tree-lined fairways are well maintained. However, some of the bunkers are crusty and can use some freshening up with new sand
