The quality of the food is delicious, great price and younger so much out of it. Staff is very nice and courteous. Made great suggestions for what to eat

We went during prime-time breakfast time on a Sunday morning. The restaurant was crowded, but service was very friendly and fast. The food was good and reasonably priced. It's in a cute little area of town; if you go down a few blocks there's pretty views of the sound.

Great diner. Non fussy and kinda kitschy ambience and decor, just how I like it. Breakfast was great, nice cheesy omelette, and the perfectly sized pancakes were accompanied by warm syrup and whipped butter (super). Quick, friendly, and attentive service as well. We were first drawn in by the promise of a decently priced veggie breakfast, but reading the reviews sealed the deal. We were impressed at the owner's honest and non-defensive response to both positive and negative reviews, a rarity in the restaurant review world. I'm also fairly certain he bussed our table and gave us a to go box. Anyway, thanks Ryan and staff for a great experience.

Ordered 1/2 biscuit and gravy and felt it was a super small portion given the price. Egg and bacon were tasty but the gravy tasted fake, almost like condensed soup. One little chunk of sausage in the gravy and it tasted gross, wished I wouldn’t have eaten it. Service was prompt and attentive but not impressed with the food for the price.

Incredibly kind wait staff. We're in from out of town and have been twice for breakfast. Even sat in the same booth. The food is pure comfort. The staff is pure joy. Thank you guys! Much love from KC!

Service was slow at the beginning, took them 10 minutes to start getting us drinks after we got seated. After that though service was normal. Food was wonderful.

I had a great breakfast but that was largely because I was with a wonderful and cute date and we were enjoying the last few hrs of a glorious weekend. Service was tops and I have known of this place for many years. I will return and, if my sweetheart joins me, we'll share the eggs benedict. 💕 Here is for hoping she thinks of me in the new Year. 🐇 & 🐅

First of all, the service here is great. There is a server here that is there every single time I come in and she always remembers what my order is. This place also has your classic diner feel and classic diner breakfasts. I love that they have half orders of the eggs Benedict. I go here all the time and I love it.

Older feel breakfast place. Had the biscuits and gravy, no flavor really, had to add pepper and Tabasco. Service was good and the coffee was ok.

We visited on a Saturday around noon. It was a little busy and the staff warned us that it might be a 30 minute wait for food. We really appreciated the heads up and as we weren't in a hurry we sat down. The coffee was ok... a little bit weak and bitter in my taste, but refills were free and plentiful. The wait staff was super nice and friendly. I had the meatloaf and eggs. The meatloaf was sort of mushy and wasn't as flavourful as I would have hoped and the hollandaise was sort of bland. My bf had ham and eggs with pancakes. The pancakes arrived about 10 minutes after the rest of the food and were bland and doughy. The Hashbrowns were tasty, but nothing noteworthy. Overall our opinion was that the food was just ok and there was nothing that set Arliss's apart from any other restaurant and we feel no need to ever revisit here.

Excellent diner! Great food and attentive & friendly service. And a good price to boot! How is there not a line outside?!

We were there for lunch. The service was great! We had the fish and chips. The coleslaw was delicious. The fish was battered with tempura batter. That made the breaded coating much more palatable. It was absolute perfection.

First time at this place and I can see why it was so busy. Had a waiting list started but it didn't take too long and worth it. Food was good but our server was great, she was very attentive and friendly. Made the visit with friends more enjoyable. I would definitely return.

Went for Brunch on a Sunday with a party of seven and was treated to a delicious salmon scramble and several pots of tea. We were seated quickly and served delicious food Arlis's is a lovely, quaint, Bellingham staple serving all the classics and several with a northwest spin. Steeped in history, this diner is a fantastic place to fuel yourself and your family. Family friendly, this place is a must try.

Today was really great experience! The waitress was super friendly and I wasn't asked about my service dog. The gal that helped us forgot to add the pie on the bill so I just reminded her and she fixed it! The food was fantastic also!

This is a nice place and welcoming. We have wanted to go to this place since we moved to Bellingham. My husband is always looking for homemade corned beef hash, he loves homemade corned beef hash. And this was not homemade and appeared to be out of a can. Otherwise the rest of the food was good. The have really great biscuits. I had blueberry pancakes and the blueberries tasted like they were frozen. The pancakes were good and everybody was nice and the place was clean.

The food is very good. I usually get the crab eggs Benedict which is always good. Today I tried the Greek Omelette-excellent!

Always go here for one thing, the crab cake eggs Benedict- it’s always crispy despite the generous amount of hollandaise sauce they provide 😩 The French dip and fries is super delicious as well! Everyone is always super nice, and the coffee is really good.
