This place is very unsafe and lacks in security, do not go alone and specially don't get out of the main road if you decide to go (never adventure into the trails, it's full of creepy people and you can easily get robbed or who knows what). I will never go there again, that's unfortunate because the park itself is very beautiful and has a lot of biodiversity.

Beautiful place for a Sunday morning walk up. BEST TO CAB IT and be dropped off at the top gate. UNSAFE if not on Sundays and festivos. Has two parking spots, best to park on the top one. Dogs are free to wander, water stations for them and a few places to get REFRESHMENTS. EASY climb for cyclists and joggers. Nice 360 views of the city.

The incline is fairly gradual so not a great fitness level required. Best to go on weekends or fiestas in daylight hours ,during the week is not recommended as your likely to be robbed. They said yes, but warned me I could get robbed. Then, they said if I go fast and don’t turn right I’ll be fine and just go for ten minutes and back, and to put my phone in my waistband. Living near Estadio, I was lucky to be very close this wonderful mirador. I visited once or twice every week. You can take a taxi or walk all the way up to here. Walk is a little challenging but it is worth it. It is not too touristy so you can chill out and enjoy watching Colombians flying their kites. A nice walk. Not very much to see. Some good lookouts with no obstructions and I saw mostly butterflies, and flowers. The flowers I have seen just about everywhere around Medellín. I did see a few birds but not much close enough to see well. I came in the main gate and walked up the roadway and about 4/5th of the way up there's a sidewalk. There are trails up to the summit at various locations but they are often steeper and less regular and not often marked well. The stairs are at the highest point the road goes. They are very regular and at the top is two small flat areas with views. Further up towards the airport is a higher elevation look out and the stairs/ pathway back down to where the sidewalks started going up and therefore not sidewalks from this point downward. I chose to head toward 70 and walked to the metro which was mostly very nice. It starts out very industrial but quickly changes. There were very few people on a Tuesday afternoon.
