Although the dorm room I stayed in had a shower but there was no hot water. The only bathroom that had hot water is in the main area that a lot of people uses. This hostel also charged me tax even though I’m a tourist and have the stamp that says I’m exempt - took a very long time to dispute. The Kitchen could do with a refurb but you have a fridge and cooler if you wanted to cook your own stuff. Breakfast is included which is fried eggs with arepa and coffee however, it was confusing in the mornings as we didn’t know if someone cooks it for us or if we do it ourselves as we sat outside on the tables for a while - eventually, two of us decided to make our breakfasts and then the staff started to make breakfast for everyone else. There was confusion on if the hostel offers laundry as one girl I asked said no, then I asked another guy who said yes. WiFi signal also cuts off at the back of the hostel - you have to sit in the kitchen area or reception area to get the signal. Some of the staff were really lovely and helpful whereas others were just unsure of a lot of things. Has a tattoo parlour on-site with some talented tattooist.
