I enjoy a lot to use the metro system. The metro has the possibility to reach the most principals places from Medellin and the Metropolitan area. Furthermore, its infrastructure is awesome.

Affordable and dependable public transportation yet crowded. It consists of a network of different vehicles (train, tram, cableways, buses) that spreads along many main lines of the city.

Fast, cheap and efficient transportation system

26 years old but looks New runs smooth very efficient ,comfortable, dependable and utilized . The metro system keeps growing and makes commuting easier and timely .

Incredibly clean, safe, efficent and inexpensive. During my 5 day stay in Medellin, I used the metro a dozen times, and found the trains to be efficient, clean and safe every time. Some of the stops include: the Caribe station which connects to the North Bus Terminal, the Acevedo station which connects to the wonderful metrocable system, and the Envigado station. Make sure to study a map of the metro system, so that you become familiar with all of the places you are able to go for about 75 cents per ride.

Recharged my metro Civica card on a number of occasions and each time the card doesn't reflect the money I paid
