Good Ole, What-a-Burger. This place gets slammed at lunchtime. it had been a while since I've been to one and never been to this location. I beat the heavy rush, but still was about 3ppl deep to order. Got a burger all the way, with bacon and grilles onions. Food was fairly fast since they made it fresh for you. Tasted good, fries were a bit undercooked, but nothing too bad. They have a number of tables and a counter you can sit at. Not very big. Few picnic tables outside but it was raining when I went. Burger, fries, and a drink for just under $16, not too bad. Much better than a McDonald's or BK burger, almost how mom would have made it at home.

The food was amazing and their service was amazing. The chicken burger was too salty🥲.

This location is probably an old gas station, as the bathrooms are on the outside of the building. Besides that the food is good and the people are awesome. Also the price is very good.

Do not be confused. This place is not the same as the big orange W that makes floppy and lifeless burgers. This is one of those hometown places where you walk in and all the informational signs were printed at home and scotch taped to the register. Where you can see the dude behind the clerk making your burger on the flat top right in front of you. If you are looking for a fancy place, this ain't it. But if you are looking for an A+ cheeseburger with the speed of fast food but the taste of home cooked awesomeness. This is DEFINITELY it. Fantastic burger. And the fried Mac and Cheese went straight to my arteries in the most delicious way possible.

Recent visit consisted of a continued downward spiral in quality and service at this location. The fry’s are frequently undercooked and over salted. The burger I ordered was soggy and mushy. We ordered a large fry and we got a small I brought the food back for a refund and the Manager, Latoya, could only complain and be argumentative. The manager was very condescending and combative for no reason. As a family we spend quite a bit of money in this restaurant but that is definitely going to stop if the quality continues toto plummet. There is no reason for a fast food service worker to take personally, everything that comes through the door. We do not appreciate the rudeness of the staff when THEY make a mistake. Great food. Burgers are quite a bit thinner compared to what they used to be years ago but they are still tasty. It's almost exactly the same burgers and food as the franchise out west. Great staff most of the time. Although im not sure im a fan of people working in their pajamas And serving food. Updated review. Ordered food on a Sunday and this is what we got. Overcooked corn dog and fries that had a bunch of carbon build up from where the fryers are dirty

Pros: Decent enough burger, prompt service. Cons: Cheap generic products - fries, onion rings, ketchup, etc. Just very mediocre. Cooks loudly talking with repeated F words while the restaurant is full of families with kids. $29 for two meals is a bit steep. Atmosphere could use some TLC.

Just the average place with a good greasy burgers good fries and tingly Coca-Cola. It's what you look for in these types of places nothing fancy but just a good burger. The burgers used to be the full size of the Big Bun which they aren't anymore but they're still good. It's a back in the day spot that's still around.

What A Burger is awesome. The focus is on the Burger. The facility is old and run down, outside bathroom, dining area dingy. BUT, the Burger is awesome. I recommend take-out. The only downside is that they tend to overcook or sometimes burn the meat these days recently. I hope management notices and monitors that more closely. The What A Burgers in Prince George, Petersburg, and Newport News all shine. This one just needs a remodeling job and DON'T BURN THE MEAT !!!

Just cut the menu up in strips and put it in a hat. Whatever you pick, you will be happy. It's hard to complain that it's not enough space inside. Feels like it that changes it would change the quality of everything else. If it ain't broke, leave it the hell alone.

Food was delicious. We got double cheeseburgers and fries. 😋 Do wish they had a non-bean chili, but it was still good on the burger! 😃 The chicken tenders were great!

This place is good as hell. I ordered today through uber eats. They actually paid attention to the instructions I put in the notes . The burger was good and fresh. Good blend. The fries are thick crinkle cut. Also good. Definitely will order again.
