First, and last time there. The "asada" was mushy and wet more like barbacoa. The tounge looked like jerky. And the sauce... yeah dont eat it if the lids about to blow out its definitely gone bad. People need to go out more if you think this place is that great

This just may be the worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever had in life. This was my first time here, I dined in and I had 2 chicken tacos and 1 chicken fajita… when I unwrapped my food it was just not appealing to the eye at all to begin with. The first thing I see is lettuce— that’s mainly what you’ll get, might as well just call them lettuce tacos instead. The food was utterly flavorless, all I tasted was the green sauce I topped it with, and they just throw all this cheese on it— it’s just bad. Basically, you literally get served big portions of garbage. A complete waste of money. The only pro here was the customer service, the man, who I think may be the owner, who came from the kitchen area was very welcoming and nice. I highly recommend that you never waste your money at this place in your life, seriously.

Food was plentiful and delicious 😋 Will definitely recommend and return. I had a burrito and it was huge and definitely filled me up.

El gigantic burrito is really big feeds 2 people unless u love to eat and the regular burrito is good also but I didn't like the beans and rice and the chili relleno was ok but no flavor...my 1st time here...

I have been coming to taco patio for over 8 years. I ordered enchiladas from here tonight because I hadn’t had them in a while. The ones I remembered were delicious, came with green sauce and had shredded chicken. But since they had a change of staff the enchiladas are absolutely awful. They had huge chunks of chicken and so much cheese I couldn’t even tell there was a tortillas in my enchiladas and they only gave me two instead of three like the dinner was suppose to come with smh. The rice was dry and disgusting and the customer service was completely awful. Instead of their cashier being empathetic and giving me a refund when I nicely and respectfully told him I wasn’t a fan of the enchiladas. He was very hostile with me over a measily $13 meal and told me they would not give me a refund and I would have to “come back tomorrow” or I have to order something. I ended up just leaving because I will never spend my money on this awful low quality restaurant ever again. They can keep my little $13 dollars and their awful food and service.

The food wasn't necessarily the best but for the price it was adequate. The portion size was huge! Parking and inside dining is widely available.

This place is more like Tex-mex food, the crunchy steak tacos were horrible, chicken enchiladas meehh!! The Horchata was super sweet, I like it. Everything else, not worth the money.

So I read reviews After I already placed my delivery order and I wish I had read them first..the rice and beans were good and that's about the only good thing I have to say. Ordered the 3 taco dinner with what they call ground beef, but it was nasty. Maybe the other meats are good but the ground beef was just not good at all. I was really hoping the reviews were wrong but unfortunately they weren't.

My coworkers and I work all over Chicagoland. Whenever we see a taco place, we make a point to try it out. This was definitely worth the stop! The portion sizes could fill the biggest appetites. And the taste was great. I had the steak burrito and my coworker had the 3 taco dinner. Both were excellent! Definitely will make sure to return here. With drinks, it was a little over $25 for everything.

We have stopped here before, and we had a great late night dinner. The food was very delicious, and the service was great. This time around it was really tough to find a parking spot. When we got into the restaurant we could barely get in the door. The line was very long to order, and there were just as many people standing around waiting on thier order causing a very uncomfortable atmosphere. The tables were all full. We waited 5 minutes and the line didn't move, so we decided to not eat there this time. I'm still giving the restaurant a 4 star based on our first experience. I am going to not go during busy hours, and certainly give them another try.

The food made me sick the last I'm almost there guys watching a little better with cooking your meat and how well you preserve your food temperature and how well you maintain the temperature of the food and meat

Can’t go wrong with the cheese fries, chicken or steak! This place is a neighborhood gem! I’ve been coming to taco patio since I was a kid. At 30 years old, whenever I hit the old block, I have to come here. No question. The tacos are on point too. I mean it’s Taco Patio!! If you know. You know. I haven’t been here in a minute though so I was shocked to see the changes. They’ve upgraded their look and got a new sign out front. New look, same great food!!

The food is alright. It's not great but it's not bad, somewhere in between. They do have a pretty wide variety.

The chicken taco salad was delicious. Plenty of food. It definitely hits the spot. I will be back again…

My wife and I ordered 2 meals, she ordered the taco and I ordered the burrito. I'm not sure how old the meat was, but as we were eating it almost tasted as if it was spoiled, I usually save leftovers but this time not only I couldn't finish it not because I wasn't hungry but the food was nasty, I ended up throwing the remaining of the tacos and half of burrito. There's a sign in the window that says "Been in business for over 33 years, that says a lot" they should take that sign out of the window to be honest.

All of the food is wonderful I'm not sure if it was one of the cooks who took my order his attitude is what throw me off a little but besides that the food was very good and the customer service is usually really good besides that day

I have been eating at this place since 2000 always great service always good food this is one of my favorite Taco spots out there

Neighborhood hotspot! Can't go wrong with the tacos, burritos or fajitas. Not to mention the cheese fries are what you are looking for in cheese fries. Whether plain with steak, chicken or beef they are the icing on the cake.

Very rude service over the phone my mother was looking forward to eating here. It was her favorite place to eat. They messed up my mothers order and on top of that she calls them saying they messed up her order. The guy on the phone sat there arguing with her when she knows what she ordered.. we didn’t get a receipt either. I just think that’s really disrespectful and I expected more from this place it has always been my family's go to place.

I haven't been there in over 15 years. I was really surprised the meal was plentiful and very tasty. The price was also good. I will return again when I have a taste for a Mexican meal.

The service and the food is very good especially the chicken it has flavor that some other Mexican restaurants don't have and the other meats are very tasty also I just love taco patio I've been eating there for a lot of years now. 😍😍

It was a little pricey, but they put a lot meat in their tacos! On the other hand the beef quality wasn't the greatest, had some gristle in it (I had Carne asada)

I stopped going here for a long time because the steak meat was fatty but I recently decided to give them another chance and they have redeemed themselves because now they are back on my hit list and the green salsa is always a favorite.

Food starting to be nasty. I recently like two days ago had a chicken on pita and it wasn't too good. I had the loaded steak fries 3 weeks ago and those were good. I been going here for over 11yrs and ik in the past they were on point very good; but lately they haven't been all that great except for those loaded steak fries.
