Peaceful park to visit. Calm and has access to all the museums next to it. Worth taking family and kids.

Beautiful historic park shrouded by historical arcatecture. However, very sad to see tents and the homeless bathing in the potable water fountain.

This is a beautiful local square in the historic centre of the city. It's flanked on all four sides by old colonial era buildings, and it has gorgeous manicured gardens. Stop by here for a photo opportunity, before heading to the nearby museum or cultural centre.

Beautiful square in the center of Belo Horizonte inspired on the gardens of the Versailles palace, it is one of the most relevant ones. It has the so called cultural circuit around it, including different museums, knowledge institutions and at least one theater. The CCBB (cultural center of Banco do Brasil) stays nearby and is a must do visit. Also notice the wavy building, it is Oscar Niemeyer’s project. And such a beautiful one. The palm trees lane is so beautiful!

A beautiful building that's still in use. What is open to visitors is nice, but not a lot to see. If you're short on time, is give this a miss... If you have time, it's cute and quick. Imo, the upstairs bathroom and the entry staircase were the best.

As 1 of Brasil's wealthiest urban regions I enjoyed learning about Its history as a 'planned city' in 1899...

Amazing place! Culturally must visit! All the best of Minas Gerais can be found here. Good quality souvenires and perfect ambience. Historically rich! Architecturally fascinating.

Lovely park in the middle of the city. Lots of people exercising and enjoying the park with their families, dogs etc.

One of Belo Horizonte's iconic symbol. Well located with a wide range of museums to be visited. On special occasions like Christmas, the Praça da liberdade Square receives a special and unique decoration (best option is to visit during the night because of lights). Just some blocks ahead, you will find a good variety of restaurants.

It's one of the few places where your visit is mandatory in Belo Horizonte

One the most beautiful plazas in the city. Surrounded by museums. There is a small space observation site maintained by one of the city's university. A good place to walk with children and pets.

It's a really nice area with palm trees and other nice plants. Not too big but it's a nice place to spend some time.

Great place in BH to stroll, walk, sit and observe the historic buildings in the surroundings. The landscaping is beautiful and very well maintained. And for those who like exhibitions of art, history and knowledge, it is very worthwhile to visit these buildings that, in times of pandemic, follow the distancing rules, alcohol gel available, pressure measurement at the entrance and control of people's access through prior scheduling.

A great place for tourists, turns out a pleasant environment majorly on Sunday afternoons. Although, can be explored on busy days at the museums and historical exposures. Love it!
