Awful at its worst. Chinese counterfeit. There isn't a single original product. All smuggled through. Lowest possible quality. Place is creepy and dangerous. Located at the red light zone. Forget it.

Love this place! It's gray market, lots of reasonably good quality knockoff goods but other regular stuff as well including tools. They now have real Chinese food! Delicioso!

Wow! What a collection of stores! What exactly are we looking for? We will find it sold at this diverse shopping area. Competitive prices and good típicas food what people fo there for! One of their speciality is the ice cream at Sete Taças. Everyone’s must have! Go to Oiapoque! You will find it there!

Replace your phone screen here with one that doesn't even remotely have the same quality as before. Roll up! Fake t shirts and Xboxes that don't connect to the internet but have 5 games you don't even want on them! Come get them while their hot!

The place is absolutely crowded and aisles are very small. Full of counterfeit products and it is incredibly hot inside - there is no AC only a fan here and there.

You have to love this place for what it is. It is a playground for middle aged boys like myself. Obviously, there are a lot of Chinese made knock offs, at questionable quality. But prices are good, and there's a ton of cool and interesting stuff to look at or buy.

In this popular market, you can find clothes, shoes, and a variety of accessories at good prices. There are also foot, I tried food by weight and it was not good at all, but it wasn't terrible either.

Lots of counterfeit items, but all very cheap and cheaper if bought in bulk. The place to go for electronics and novelty. It's like a hot maze, so be careful not to get lost. Some stores don't accept cards, money only, but they have an ATM. Careful with robberies too, here they are intense. The chinese population is concentrated here.

Open until 7pm, with free parking and selling everything you need for a good price, no doubt it became a symbol in the town of market place. Just be careful for it's easy to get lost in all those alleys

Yeah, the description as a not-so-fancy, unpretentious mall is spot-on target....clusters of stalls / small shops reminiscent of similar little malls in Chinatown, NYC...Plenty of places to get cheap and decent clothes, sneakers, backpacks and other school supplies for kids, cheap reading glasses, VG quality knock-off regular- and sunglasses, electronics and - always my favorite - "TV boxes"; much better than Roku, and you get 300+ channels, plus movies, dramas, etc. (in English AND Portuguese, so I'm a very happy camper). Beats paying big bucks for cable.....Food court has gotten better over the years, with a new Chinese restaurant (No surprise here...many vendors are from the PRC)....Just be careful, watch out for pickpockets and petty crime immediately outside (A bit of an unsavory part of BH) and you'll be fine...Old maxim about big cities like this: Don't wear your nice jewelry, try to look a bit like a bum.
