We live in the area and needed to be out of the house for a couple days and chose the Pine Ridge Inn. We stayed in a Canyon View room. It is quite spacious, extremely clean, and has a small enclosed patio with a table and chairs, all with a view looking down at the Deschutes River. Most of the rooms face the River, although there are some that face the front looking at grass and the street. I would strongly recommend paying a few dollars more to get the River view. The breakfast is continental but not bad at all. If you want something more traditional there is a Pancake house across the street. The staff was very friendly, too. The Pine Ridge Inn is not a huge facility, I’m guessing maybe 15 rooms? The building is modern and as I said very clean. They do take pets in some of the rooms. Location is good in that if you go downtown Bend for dinner or shopping, door to door is less than 10 minutes. It’ll take longer to find parking than to get there.

I've stayed at Pine Ridge Inn many times, most recently over New Year's weekend 2023. It is a wonderful experience. The suites are spacious and comfortable and always very clean. I love having my morning coffee on the balcony and listening to the ducks and geese on the river. The Inn is so chill and quiet, it's a great place to relax after a day on the mountain or on the trail. I stay in lots of hotels and I highly recommend the Pine Ridge Inn.

Giving it 3 stars because my husband always has a great experience. Except when he accidentally got locked out of his room. No one was at the front desk because apparently, the entire staff had gone home. He used the front desk phone to call the patrol number they provide at the desk and got nothing but a busy signal. He had to resort to calling 911....and got nothing but a busy signal. Every number he called wouldn't go through. He's shoeless, phoneless, keyless, and has zero options for any form of contact. He eventually has to actually *create himself* a key card to get back into his room which he was lucky to figure out how to do. I'm not sure how they would not be sure precautions are put in place for when this happens. If they are going to have no one on staff throughout the night they need to be sure there is always a reliable way to communicate and get help rather than someone running around for an hour and eventually needing to use the hotel's own system on their own to get back into their room. Hopefully, this feedback fixes the problem.

Really disappointed with this place. Website said front desk closes at 10pm. We got there about 9.30pm and everything was locked so we couldn’t check in. Had to call a number and wait in our car (after a 5 hour drive to get there) for 25 minutes for a patrol car to arrive and let us in. Weirdest check in I’ve ever had. No information given to us on wifi password, breakfast times or where it was located. Woke up in the morning and eventually found ‘breakfast’. Is that meant to be a joke? There wasn’t even toast. Just a stale English muffin with butter, one grape jam left, and some stale strudel pastry. No tea. We had to ask for some yoghurt and the lady was pretty rude.. for 300 a night I expect to be checked in, given information, and be given a decent breakfast. Certainly wouldn’t come back here. Shame, as the room itself was nice.

This place checked all the boxes for me. We’ve stayed twice now and both times have been great. First of all, location. It’s so close to the road that goes straight out to the mountain. Within 10 minutes you can be in the woods, but also walking distance to quick beer or bite of food at cascade lakes brewing. The breakfast was amazing and all quality ingredients. We had really good coffee, croissants and homemade yogurt. The details are perfect. Bed is super comfy and not one of those so-soft-you-sink-into-a-hole type of deals. The rest of the room had everything we needed. Including shampoo and conditioner that didn’t feel like it was going to dry everything out or slick my hair for a week. Bonus points for a complimentary beer upon arrival and cute dog at the desk waiting for belly rubs. We will be back.

The staff immediately made me feel comfortable and actually "welcome". The rooms truly made you feel that you were in a very special place! The amenities offered were exceptional and the view from each rooms personal balcony was very relaxing..(a personal must see).. They are "pet family" friendly and even #Rover gets a welcome package! If you are celebrating a special occasion, there are things such as flowers, champagne, sweets, etc. that you can choose from too create your very own "Special Welcome Package" to personally greet you in the privacy of your room... Definitely a Delightfully Memory Making Experience!!

We visited Bend in the middle of a 21-day road trip with two cats. Pine Ridge Inn was by far our best experience with a hotel in regards to welcoming us and our cats. They provided a nice pet-welcoming package on the bed: food and water bowls, soft fleece blankets for each cat, large soft cotton sheets to throw on top of the bed (their request, and I was happy to do so), and towels. The package not only was useful, but just made us feel unusually welcomed as cat owners. As for the hotel, it was lovely. The pet-friendly rooms are on the first floor with sliding glass doors to a small sitting area with grass (great for dog owners). The bed was soft and cozy, there was a very comfortable seating area with a gas fireplace. It was hot out, but I put that on for a little while just because one cat had never seen a fireplace and I wanted to see how she would respond - she was mesmerized. The bathroom had a nice large tub and the water pressure was great. We were there at the height of a heatwave in August, but stayed nice and cool in air-conditioned luxury. The room was very clean, had the expected accommodations (mini fridge, coffee maker, etc). Nice little bonuses of a free cooled beverage during the stay, spa quality bathroom products, and some delicious little cookies waiting in the room by the coffee maker. The breakfast was excellent - a wide selection of filled croissants with a microwave so you could briefly heat if desired. They also had delicious homemade yogurt with fruit compote and granola topping. There was a nice little outdoor balcony off the breakfast room, but I had to pass as it was already pretty full and I was trying to maintain Covid regulations for social distancing. The hotel is a bit off the main strip, but worth the little extra drive to go across the river. As a small hotel, there is no gym/pool available, but there is a nice little path to walk to the park and get in all your exercise in the outdoors.

We loved our stay! We were here for five days for our honeymoon. The staff was so kind, welcoming and attentive. The room was clean, spacious and well stocked. The amenities were great - breakfast (local, gluten free options), robes, great location, bathtub, views, parking...it was an amazing place to stay. The hotel is pet friendly, but I have allergies and the staff made sure we were in a pet-free room and I had no issues. It was fun to see our furry neighbors, though, coming and going. The staff had great recommendations and were so welcoming to visitors to the area. We will be back!

We truly enjoyed the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of Pine Ridge Inn. It has the family lodge touches that take you away from the everyday. Breakfast was so sweet with everything you could need and full of local goods. The staff were friendly and always helped out when we had a request. The room was impeccable, the sunrise view over the river was stunning and unforgettable. The grounds are clean and beautiful, very pet friendly. We will be staying here again!

A much needed “staycation “ and we couldn’t be happier! Romantic, cozy and Andrea went above and beyond.Thank you!!! She made our stay wonderful. Annika at the front desk was very helpful and when I explained we would get there later she removed the champagne so it wouldn’t melt! We were greeted with rise petals, photos of “us”, charcuterie, champagne and the most beautiful room! We work hard and needed the self care of the jacuzzi tub, fireplace and inviting bed!

The staff was wonderful. The Rooms are clean and very spacious. My only complaint is the hot water. The pressure is low and doesn't stay consistent. I will stay here again.

Our stay was amazing! It's a beautiful place to stay and the staff are even better! Audrey was so welcoming and accommodating to every need. The room was great with the patio and gas fireplace. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will be back again for a get away! I think next time we will try for a view of the river from the second floor! Thanks again for the welcoming stay! Pine Ridge Inn is a must!

Exceptionally cozy suites. Great local coffee and food in their "continental" breakfast (seriously good!). Location is perfectly situated between the myriad outdoor and city activities that Bend has to offer. A real unexpected treat of a stay!

Really wonderful small hotel. Locally sourced continental breakfast (and welcome drink of beer, wine, or nonalcoholic options) included in the price. Bed was really comfy, and even the sofa bed was fine. Bath a little deeper than most (a plus!) and the gas fireplace in each room is fun. First floor room we were in had a patio overlooking the Deschutes. First trip to Bend, and it is an awesome town!

It's a fantastic place: the view is great if you get a room with a river view, and the decor in the rooms feels like a cabin. But, it's also a little incongruous: it's obvious that it was renovated at some point from a much cheaper state of being, and that bleeds into your experience in minor little ways. Also the bath never gets hot :-/ But every time I'm in Bend, I stay here, and it's great every time. Be aware that Google will try to direct you down a closed road to get there. It doesn't know that you can now just turn into the parking lot right in front on the building on Colorado St.

Very lovely rooms some with fireplace. Had a great riverside view. Spacious split level room with king bed and bonus fold out couch. A few little odd idiosyncracies: rather large spacious room had an oddly small television. Also, placement of bathroom counter interfered with opening of toilet lid. Nice place though, quibbles aside. Would stay again.
