Karama is generally a good choice for Middle Eastern and Indian food, especially for non-vegetarians. Be prepared for crowds and potentially higher prices, particularly during special occasions. The quality of some dishes can be inconsistent, so consider ordering highly-rated items.
The restaurant is extremely popular, especially during Iftar. Arrive early to secure a table. Parking is limited, so plan accordingly. Be mindful of your belongings due to the crowds. Consider trying their signature dishes and Ramzan specials. The large Majlis can accommodate larger groups.

I have been to their neighbours, the well known savoury joint from across the street, but I would highly recommend this over Savoury any day. Mosque road is known for the food as well as the amount of dust and traffic that flows through here. One negative is that they have open seating in this atmosphere! Would have been nice if there was a glass kind of a setup to enjoy the food without a side dish of passive pollution. Everything else was just perfect. As you can see we came in hot and hungry. We ordered the salad platter, mix grill platter, the chicken sesh taouk meal, and mutton ribs. Can't even say anything negative here. This has made it to the top of my list for grilled food in Bangalore. The waiter did not feel interested or did not feel like he knew much about the dishes. Maybe that aspect of the customer experience journey could have been better.
Karama is a good restaurant but a very busy place. Lot of families come here. You must come early to get a good spot to sit and enjoy. You get fish, chicken, mutton too.
This is one of the best restaurant to have Arabian cuisine. The Ambience is really nice. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. Chicken Mandhi Biriyani is the bestseller. During Ramadan fast variety of food items and desserts are available outside the restaurant. Hygiene is also well maintained. Overall would recommend this restaurant to others.
This place was a spontaneous stop for lunch. But , just very impressed with the food , service & the sitting on the balcony ambiance. The drink Arabic champagne was really very impressive. The mutton sheekh was a real 10/10 & so was the mutton Mandi biryani with an interesting gravy that felt like brinjal — but very tasty. On the whole great find & fantastic lunch.
We were in the area and noticed this restaurant had a 4.4 rating, so we decided to visit. The ambiance is lovely — we sat on the first floor with a nice view, and the staff gave us a warm welcome. It’s definitely a pleasant and inviting place. However, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. We tried three dishes, but the flavors fell short. The staff were kind enough to offer to cancel one of the dishes, which we appreciated. It’s a beautiful restaurant with friendly service, and with some improvements in taste — especially for their mutton key dishes
OVERRATED! After my first visit to Karama, I found it to be overhyped. While the restaurant boasts an impressive Persian-Arabian-themed ambiance and an extensive menu, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. Here's what we tried: Mutton Paya – 3/5 (Nothing exceptional) Tawa Bheja Fry – 4/5 (Decent but not outstanding) Haleem – 2.5/5 (Disappointing) Arabian Lemon Soda – 4/5 (Tastes exactly like Appy Fizz) We also sampled a few Ramzan special dishes from their stall, but unfortunately, they didn’t stand out either. I might consider revisiting to try some of their signature dishes and reassess my experience.
🍽️ Food: The menu is a delightful journey through Arabic, Indian, and Indo-Chinese cuisine. I highly recommend the grilled kebabs — perfectly seasoned and juicy. The Mutton Rogan Josh was rich, tender, and bursting with flavor. And don't leave without trying the Kunafa for dessert — sweet, crunchy, and creamy in every bite. 👨🍳 Service: The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about your dining experience. They're quick to suggest the best dishes and accommodate preferences with a smile. 💰 Price: Great value for money. Portion sizes are generous, making it ideal for both families and groups. 🕌 Vibe: Ideal for casual dinners, family gatherings, or even a quiet solo lunch. Clean, well-lit, and spacious. ⭐ Rating: 4.5/5 Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious and comforting meal with a cultural twist.
KARAMA - Honor, Dignity! Lives up to its name and fame. We visited Karama restaurant for lunch. Welcomed warmly by the restaurant staff and were offered a suitable spot as per our liking. The ambiance and the decor give traditional yet contemporary vibes. Food: Wide choice of non vegetarian dishes. Traditional Arabic dishes are also available. Almost all the dishes were top-notch. Except Mandi - could be better. Try their Arabic salad platter. BBQ, Hummus was good. Nalli Nihari 👌 Service: Their staff are well trained and know how to handle things. Parking: They have a few reserved spots outside the restaurant. Prices: Moderate Must visit with friends and family. Recommended 👍
I'm thoroughly impressed! The seating is great, with comfortable options to relax. The food is delicious, with amazing taste. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Plus, the Majlis seating area is a lovely touch. And the Mandi? Absolutely fantastic!
If you’re looking for an authentic Arabic dining experience in Bangalore, Karama Restaurant on Mosque Road, Frazer Town is definitely worth visiting. The ambience instantly transports you to the Middle East, from the decor to the vibe, it feels like you’re sitting in a cozy restaurant somewhere in Dubai or Jeddah. We tried quite a variety of dishes: Salt Chicken, Haleem, Arabian Mutton Seekh, Adana Kebab with Rice, Arabian Chicken Shish Tawook, Mango Mastani, Mango Malba, and some veg items as well. Most of the food was absolutely delicious. The Arabian Mutton Seekh was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the mango-based desserts were a standout, refreshing and rich in taste. However, the Salt Chicken and Adana Kebab with Rice were a letdown. Both lacked flavor and unfortunately had a strong unpleasant smell. That said, the veg items surprisingly turned out to be very tasty. clearly, they pay attention to both meat and vegetarian dishes. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity offered. Overall, despite a couple of misses, it’s a great spot for a family dinner or outing with friends. Would definitely go back to try more of their menu!
It's a good place to have non-veg food. They have plenty of options in chicken and mutton. Service is also good however don't ask for food recommendations from waiters. They have a huge sitting space to have food with the entire family. I have not found any parking space for a 4 wheeler.
Al Karama Restaurant – Mosque Road Al Karama Restaurant, located on Mosque Road, is a unit of Empire Restaurant offering Arabic, Punjabi, and Karachi-style cuisine. The ambience is simple and casual, suitable for a relaxed dining experience. The food is the highlight here — Arabic grills are juicy and well-seasoned, shawarmas are flavorful, and the Punjabi/ Karachi curries are rich and aromatic. Biryani lovers will appreciate the balanced spice and tender meat. Portions are generous and worth the price. Service is friendly and fairly quick, even during peak hours. Staff are attentive and willing to guide you on the menu if you’re unsure what to try. A great option if you want authentic Middle Eastern and North Indian flavors in onplace
I went during iftar time and tried their Mutton Haleem. It tasted okay. We were 4 people tried to complete that small box. Little spicy as well. Then we tried their watermelon and pistachios sarbath it was good actually. They added watermelon with rose milk essence in Red colour juice. In pistachios juice they added apples and chia seeds and it was green in colour. Taste was good. Haleem - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Juice - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently dined at Karama Restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The standout stars were undoubtedly their Non-Veg Platter and fresh Salad. The Non-Veg Platter was a masterclass in culinary expertise, with each item expertly cooked and presented. The flavors were bold, the textures were delightful, and the portion was generous. From the tender chicken to the succulent lamb, every bite was a testament to the chef's skill. The Salad was a refreshing surprise, with crisp, fresh vegetables and a delightful dressing that added just the right amount of zing. It was the perfect accompaniment to the rich flavors of the platter. The service was top-notch, with friendly, attentive staff who ensured our every need was met. In short, Karama Restaurant is a must-visit for any food lover. Their Non-Veg Platter and Salad are absolute winners, and I highly recommend them. Can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings!
Visited Karama Restaurant on a weekday evening to try some Iftar food items. Among all the eateries on the street, this place stood out as the most crowded, which piqued my curiosity. They offered a wide variety of dishes, covering chicken, beef, mutton, and desserts. Compared to many other shops in the area, they maintain a certain level of hygiene, which was a plus. Food Experience: - Malabar Cocktail – A refreshing drink loaded with fresh fruits, perfect for cooling down. - Mutton Paya – A rich, flavorful soup with one tender mutton leg, served piping hot along with two idiyappams. - Mutton Haleem – A must-try dish! Topped with fried onions and lemon, it was absolutely delicious and perfectly textured. - Pista Falooda – A great way to end the meal, made with semiya and pista, and the sugar level was just right. What to Expect: - Iftar food heaven – One of the best spots to indulge in Iftar specials. - They have a full-fledged restaurant, but I only tried the Iftar section. - No dedicated parking, so you’ll have to park on the roadside at your own risk. - Be mindful of your belongings as the place gets extremely crowded. - Pricing is on the higher side, but considering the quality and taste, it’s worth trying at least once. Verdict: If you’re looking for authentic Iftar delights in a bustling atmosphere, Karama Restaurant is a must-visit. The Mutton Haleem and Pista Falooda were the highlights for me. Just be prepared for crowds and higher prices, but the experience is definitely worth it!
Haleem was awesome and mouthwatering, Dabba gost & Karachi Nun was good too. But Chicken shik kebab was less than average. Service needs to be improved I.e. only one man taking order from at least 100 customers & menu card scarcity.
Superb food!! So delicious.. We loved everything from their BBQ platter to Haleem, Nihari, Mandi, desserts, pop corn chicken and Arabic champagne.. They served very well like they do every time.. They suggested some really nice combinations.. valet parking is also Available.. The number of dishes they offer is unlimited, you can try new dishes every time.. huge Majlis is also available which can accommodate 15-20 people.. enjoy the dining.. We spent almost 4000 for 5 adults.
I had a wonderful dining experience at Karama Restaurant, Frazer Town. The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Arabian specialties like Chicken Seekh Roll, Chicken Shish Tawook, Karachi Naan, and Goat Nihari were outstanding, and the presentation was excellent. A special mention to Mr. Uday from the unit – his service was simply outstanding. He was polite, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. His hospitality added a personal touch and truly elevated our experience. The ambience of the restaurant is elegant, cozy, and creates the perfect setting to enjoy a great meal with family or friends. Overall, Karama Restaurant is a perfect combination of great food, excellent service, and a beautiful ambience. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back!
I recently visited Karama Restaurant and had a mixed experience. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Nalli Nihari - it was flavorful, well-cooked, and something I would genuinely recommend to anyone who enjoys rich, authentic dishes. It stood out and was worth trying. However, the Bheja Fry was disappointing. It felt more like a bheja bhurji rather than the traditional style one would expect. The texture and preparation were not what I had in mind, and it’s not something I would recommend. What affected the overall experience more than the food was the service. The staff appeared a bit rude and seemed more focused on chatting and joking among themselves rather than attending to customers. Even when we tried to get their attention, they were engaged in conversations and didn’t prioritize customer interaction. It gave the impression that customer experience wasn’t a priority. While the Nalli Nihari is worth trying, the restaurant could definitely improve its service and attentiveness to customers.
Had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Karama Restaurant in Frazer Town! The food was incredible – every dish was packed with flavor. The mutton was by far the highlight, tender, soft, and incredibly tasty. The non-veg platter was also amazing, with a variety of perfectly cooked items. The salad platter was a pleasant surprise too – fresh, crunchy, and full of flavor! Not to mention, the service was top-notch. The manager and waiter were both incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, I forgot their names, but their friendly attitude and attention to detail really stood out. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking out Karama Restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent food menu with different cuisines Arabian to Turkish to Indian. Very good priced as well. Service and atmosphere is excellent. Captain Ahmed and Steward Yaseer service was excellent. Quite polite, humble and helpful. Highly recommend
Visited Karama Restaurant, Bangalore again and it never disappoints! We ordered the Platter (24 pieces), Saudi Salad, Chicken Curry, Mutton Gosht Curry, Karachi Roti, Ghee Rice, and ended with the Coconut Pudding — which was absolutely the star of the meal. Every dish was flavorful and authentic, but the dessert truly stole the show. This was my 4th visit, and each time the taste only gets better, making me want to come back again and again. Highly recommended!
The atmosphere creates a feeling of being transported directly to the Middle East. It's not just a restaurant; it's an immersive experience. The kebabs were incredibly tender and delicious, and I absolutely loved the experience. This is a must-visit place to spend quality time with your family

Karama BBQ On The Table is a great place if you enjoy grilling your own food. The meat is fresh and tasty, especially the mutton and chicken. They also give you a lot of side dishes like muskatan salads. The staff is friendly and quick to help. Prices are fair, and the all-you-can-eat option is a good deal. It’s a fun spot for groups and families.
I recently visited Karama Restaurant, Bangalore. The service was good, and the staff were courteous and attentive. However, I felt that the food taste did not meet expectations and the quantity was quite less compared to the price. I genuinely hope the management will look into improving the food quality and portion sizes, as the service experience otherwise was pleasant. Wishing the team all the best!
I visited this restaurant recently and tried both veg and non-veg items – the taste was really amazing. The food was fresh, well-cooked, and served on time. The staff was also very kind, attentive, and provided excellent service. A perfect place to enjoy good food with a friendly atmosphere.
