Stopped for a few minutes to walk the creek. The view is pretty, water was clear and a little cold this time of year. It was very peaceful.

Very mixed feelings about our stay. Though the owners were very friendly, it was quite unorganized. A mess up with our payment, our camp site, a homeless couple with their truck parked in our spot that we had issues getting them to move it (took hours actually), raft rentals that were rented to others though reservations were already made, and our poor personal raft getting beat up on the way to the float site, ending in it deflating, all made for a sour taste. The hook-ups were on an archaic post surrounded by poison ivy and our water leaked terribly. There were camp cats that would get into everything and drove my dog insane. We made the most of it, enjoyed ourselves regardless, and really enjoyed the area as a whole. Maybe with it being the beginning of the season, kinks just needed to get worked out.

It was nice, isolated, quite, pretty. There was stagnated swampy water nearby that kind of smelled and bits of trash but overall it was pleasant.

Friendly staff, they let you camp and don't bother you. River was like 15 feet away. Water crisp and cold and clean. Bring ur own firewood. The primitive campsites without power are back in the hidden area. Very nice!!! Not all prissy and stuck up like gypsy camp. My kinda spot. It's more gypsy style than the actual gypsy campsite across the street. Loved it!!

We’ve floated here a handful of times now and we love it. Last year I called around to many different kayak/canoe rental places in the area and this was by far the cheapest float I found. Always a plus! It’s also closer to NWA than most businesses I called. Another plus in our book! One thing I really like about this place is they allow shuttles up until 3pm. Perfect for those of us who aren’t morning people and prefer a later float. We’ve swam here, fished here, and floated. We love it all and will continue to be customers!

Great place! Decided we wanted to do a float trip and we're able to set up a 12 mile float for the following morning ! (Holiday weekend) We're definitely returning the next time we're in the area!

Have always enjoyed going out here and with all the GREAT changes made over the last several months I strongly suggest you make the trip out! I understand some have had poor experiences in the past, it's recently changed over hands in management. It's a LOT better now.

Best place to go float the river, camp, throw a birthday party, or have a family get together. Small business, cheaper prices, and the the people who run the place are just so nice and friendly.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ We stayed on site 120.... lovely view, but slopes back to front... we needed lots of cribbing to level. Showers were awesome. Bathrooms seemed to be heated on the cool mornings... Contractor kept them clean and well-stocked! Attendants were very courteous.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ A restful campground, tall pine trees around campsites on a steep hill, RV barely made it into the site. Lots of deer and armadillos. No official swimming area, but a small cove protects from some of the boat traffic. Starkey Marina close by for Hunt pizza and other traditional needs, including boat...
