Good Experience, Food was Good Came for here in Awurudu Season 15-16 Stayed one night, we need to park our vehicle in there main entrance and we need to go to hotel by boat there have there own boat service. Just few minutes to the hotel.

If you ever want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life this place is a must-visit. Need to take a nice little trip by boat to reach the hotel and then voila you will be in your paradise. Secured private beach with great service. This compound offers two restaurants one by the beachfront and the other one attached to the main hotel premise. A bit expensive but worth every penny. Also great breakfast service. Have beautiful pools and a nice dance bar between the pool and beach. Was there for our honeymoon and got free upgrades to a beautiful suite. Loved our time over there. will definitely visit again. ♥️

Most scenic hotel located at the Bentota for a holiday with the family or a day out. Plenty of parking and a boat ride to the hotel. Buffet was excellent. We can have four star hotel facilities. There are many activities can be do such as beach ball, surfing, chess, pool, tennis, and table tennis. Highly recommend this Hotel for a leisure.

Amazing location. However rooms are in terrible condition. Broken, rusty taps. Filled with Cockroaches and bed bugs. When I reserved, I was given the standard rate. When I checked in, I realised there is an offer (30% off) for commercial bank cards. So I told them I will pay by card to avail the discount. Then the manager told me that the rate given to me already considers the discount (even though I didn't mention that I'll be paying through my com bank card). Definitely a fake offer. Staff in restaurant and bar were amazing. Good food.

Hotel rooms are in terrible condition no maintenance, amenities is the worse, towels and linen like dead. No WiFi except reception and restaurant. Chaise longue on the beach are damaged, food was below OK. No phones in the "what called rooms" to request any service. It seems that Owners don't spend any to renovate the hotel. The building are nice, however, it could've been much better because of the good location.

One of the best places in bentota for a family vacation or a day out. Ample parking space and have to go by boat to the hotel. The buffet was superb and the day out package is worth it. Rings are good too. Probably 4 star hotel grade. Nice picturesque places are there. Table tennis, tennis, billiards, chess, beach ball, surfing etc was available. The superb 7 course buffet was the best thing. Recommended to go.

Mr.Nipuna and Restaurant manager Mr. Chaminda was very helpful and take care of our requirements very closely. Property is bit old fashioned, but place was awesome. Recently renovated. If someone looking a place to spend their leisure time this a good place. There's less Food varieties but food was very delicious. Highly recommended for locals and foreigners.

Don't waste your money on this hotel as it sucks!!! Resturant staff is very nice but food was not that good. Room conditions are bad with broken furniture and no hot water in the bathrooms. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone at all. Visited recently. 31.07.2022

As a 3 star hotel, this place is value for money. 25 years old buildings and furniture need to be renovated. Good place to enjoy in a calm beautiful environment. Tasty food with varieties. Good for an outing. Pool is not that big for a crowded day but can manage. Nice beach. Staff is friendly

A hotel located in a very beautiful location in between the lagoon and sea. Very happy about the friendly service of the staff. Ms Vindya was very helpful from the time we made the reservation and was nice enough to to give us an upgrade to a suite room. Mr Ranjith & Mr Theodo at the restaurant provided a very friendly service. The room was clean and spacious. As the property was under renovation, there were very few other facilities and entertainment activities but we hope that they would be able to provide a better service in time to come. Overall we had a good time during our stay. Looking forward to visit another time.

One of the famous hotel in the area with both sea and Bentota river.

With much anticipation we looked forward to club bentota. The entrance was promising. However it very quickly turned to disappointment - mosquitos in room - no toilet roll - no creamer - mould on walls - damaged door - flickering side lamp - and no hot water !!! Only reason to give it 2 star is the fantastic location. The food was great, however was not served at the correct temperature. The hot food was not served at right temperature.

Really nice location.garden is well maintained.quality food with less variety.Friendly staff. Specially to add the rooms are too small.and the washrooms as well.the other worst thing is the water is comming out from the wash room hence the room is wet and all the time we had to call room services to clean the room.(room 216).Would like to inform the management to make sure to maintain the quality of amnities since the guests and s expect hassle free enviornment

Me and my family a few years ago went on tour with Baba. It was so fun, adventorous and informative. We went to see waterfalls, elephant sanctuary, Safari park, local market and I loved it! Highly recommended

We are here for new year 2023 and having an amazing experience. There is a dedicated car park and they provide a boat to travel to the hotel which is on the other side of the river. So make sure you got everything you need once the car is parked. Energized employees welcome you upon arrival and treat with a welcome drink. We came early as it is new year day and had a walk around the hotel which is big and a very nice surrounding. They celebrate avurudu festival too. You will fall in love with the old colonial buildings and amazing wood work. Even for reaching the rooms on upstairs. Pool is big enough and clean. Hotel may have lesser no of rooms compared to other hotels around and staying here is well recommended. There are many activities for kids such as table tennis, dart boards for free and even paid water activities too. Buffet is good and well distributed food varieties. Beach is huge and can enjoy the sea bath as wish because there is no one except the visitors of the hotel. Looks like a private beach. We came as family and enjoying every bit of our stay. Recommend to everyone the place and suggest to stay here if you choose to stay at beruwala area.

Service can be improved. They confirmed over the phone for more than 10 people for the day out package they will provide a changing room but during checking they said they are not providing. We had to argue in order to get the changing room. Food was ok for a buffet.

Awesome location. It is like a island and we need to reach the hotel through boat. You can see the river merges into sea. Food is really great.

It's a really nice location. Beautiful views with the lagoon on one side and the beach on the other . There is a bit of exploring that can be done at the end of the beach with stellar view points of the ocean from the rocks and hilltop meditation centre. The front office staff and reservations people are extremely nice and helpful.fantastic chaps. Would come back to the hotel just for the way they hosted us. The food though is utterly basic. Tailored to a very local cuisine only and that also not very well done. Honestly though if the food quality was picked up this would be one of the best locations in aluthgama/bentota. Considering the place is under renovations and the staff is lost, the food would be the only ideal winner in a beautiful location.

July 8 and 9 we planned our annual office trip to this place(19 Nos rooms).From the beginning is we had to suffer a lot. We checked in the hotel from lunch but they released only 15 rooms and others rooms were given at about 4pm Rooms were old wash rooms were not upto the standards . Even for a joke dont reduce the a/c temperature,it will flood ur room even from the walls and slabs. Both food and their service was very bad at the restaurant Though we complaint all these at the check out to Ms Vindya at reception she just gave the bill and didnt tell even sorry for their negligences. Also 70% of our staff had to suffer with diarrhea when we return home continuously for 4-5 days. Not only us another batch from another branch of same company had to face same issues from begining. Final experience was very bad where we only loose our money.

My weekend stay at here was nothing short of fantastic. The room was not only stylish and comfortable but also impeccably clean. The friendly staff and convenient location added to the overall charm, making it a memorable experience. Highly recommend!

My 3rd time at the hotel. Standards have really dropped. No welcome drink, Confusion at the reception, Room without towels etc. At breakfast all attention was given to the GM of the hotel having his meal while we had find our own drinking water. No staff were present to help guest. However the boat service can be rated excellent.

It is located in a quiet free environment, a very beautiful place. The food here is very delicious. Has an efficient and friendly staff.

We went there for two nights on full board basis. The hotel is naturally having a stunning surrounding. However, we had a very bad experience with the hotel due to poor service, poor house keeping and poor quality of food. Most of our team members were sick due to food poisoning. Rooms were not clean enough and no room service available in the hotel at all. No one is taking responsible for any thing. Just a waste of money we spent on our annual trip. Think before you go there, until this management changes.

One of my friends recommended and visited yesterday. I can not forget the warm welcome and the hospitality that the entire staff offered. Food was fantastic and had a large selection. You never expect such a personalized service from a star class hotel. Thanks to all starting from the GM, chef, Bar manager, assistant bar manager and to all other staff.

This is a very good hotel with old architecture traits. Rooms were humid as long as the AC stays at 20 it was fine. Bathroom was small and there was no hot water. Those were the downside but on the other hand the location was perfect, the staff was extremely kind and very helpful. Hats off to the chefs the food was really good ( breakfast dosai are amazing). I would recommend this hotel if someone is okay with a cold shower.

Stayed here for 3 nights, it was worth an experience. The best part about this hotel was our boat ride to and fro from our parking as well as its own private beach. The pool offers a picturesque vibe. Superior family rooms were spacious but the room service and internet could have been better. Rest everything was on point. Recommended if you're looking for a luxurious stay in Bentota!

Located in a very calm and quiet environment. Felt relaxed. Front desk staff is supportive and buffet is OK. But some of the staff are having very rude manners. Broken bidet showers and intercom. Bathroom is one of the tiniest sen in a 3 star hotel. Good if you plan to stay outside most of the day.

Formerly Robinson Club, Bentota is a pretty picturesque hotel in Paradise island Bentota. Together with our families we spent a night at this hotel few weeks back. We stayed during the weekdays as we wanted to spend time away from large crowds; hence had the entire property for ourselves. For the same reasons all meals were on a-la-carte basis. But the staff went above and beyond to provide us with delicious and hearty meals. Rooms are reasonable spaced. But for a family of four it could feel a little compact. We had to face difficulties due to condensation in our room, but rest of our family had not faced similar issues in their rooms. I suggest one take the staff assistance for adjusting the room temperature. The hotel grounds are very well maintained and our kids loved the garden as there were ample space for them to run around. Given its not much occupied during weekdays, this hotel is ideal for corporate and large group outings. Reasonable prices; and value for money ! To improve: - Restaurant needs more lighting during dinner times - More awareness on condensation issue during check-in

We had a beautiful stay at Club Bentota on 24-27-Aug-2022. It is a beautiful property with clean beach. A well designed old property - rooms are basic with OK amenities and facilities. Poor Peo TV connect and almost not connecting WiFi. For obvious reasons of the industry these days they are understaffed, might take little longer to attend if you have an emergency or a need. Please bear that in your mind. What made our stay beautiful was the friendliness of the staffers, yummiest food and long walks on the beach and the property. Chef Priyal did an excellent job and he even went to an extent of giving a buffet dinner when there was very low occupancy being the mid week. We had typical Sri Lankan to well done steak, every thing was cooked to perfection and was so yummy. We look forward for another stay just for the yummy food.

Everything was nice. Meal was perfect. But less choices. But taste is great. Nice view. Friendly staff. They were taking care of everything. Only issue is the room. Normally room is good. Some old. But the bathroom is not good. Water was coming out up to the front door. So it was not clean. Room got wet because of that. We had to travel by boat to the club which is located in an island. That experience is awesome. If the room was perfect, this is a best place to spend your holidays. PS - Wifi is great

Lovely place to to have your vacation.

Best hotel ever but there is not as much food in the buffet and there is little dessert,but on the other hand the beach is beautiful and that is the only place in Sri Lanka that offers those parachute plane rides

One of the worst places I’ve ever been to. We made our booking weeks ago and called to confirm several times prior to our arrival. Yet, we only got our rooms almost 4 hours late. Food wasn’t the best. Rooms were the worst. Bed sheets and pillows were not clean. No towels were provided. Not a single water bottle was in the room. Everything was gross and dirty. Room service doesn’t exist here. Very poor service. Have to request something for more than thrice to get it done. We stayed two nights. Wasn’t worth it. Don’t recommend at all.

Very bad rooms. We got servant rooms even though we checked in after booking 6 months back. The rooms had bed bugs, cockroaches, and even a frog! This is not expected as we came from India in a 7 hours travel and got this. Now they are saying that their are no rooms and we should leave
