Nice family run restaurant with delicious food and great team! These people really want to be as good as they can be. We were in this place 4-5 times and probably tested the whole menu. So each of our visits was wonderful. This place is one of the main reasons why we miss Sri Lanka. Believe me, you won't find a better place, at least within a radius of 10 km. OMG, that was delicious. My wife had the spaghetti with shrimp and cream sauce and was thrilled. I had a vegetable curry and have never had such a good curry during our 10 day round trip. It was really something to sink your teeth into. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating, the place executing and the price was absolutely fair. We will definitely come back again

Walked to Nova along Bentota beach. They open at 2pm when they have had time to go and get todays catch. So the seafood was the freshest I’ve ever tasted. We shared a platter and I have to say it’s some of the best seafood you’ll ever taste. The owner is lovely and his son was an absolute delight to converse with. He was eager to practice his English, which was excellent. It was an honour to dine in your restaurant. 🙏

We have just returned from Sri Lanka and this was the best restaurant we ate in by far. We actually planned a detour to eat here on our way to the airport from the south coast. We called ahead the day before and the owner had a number of fresh seafood for us to choose from. We decided to go with the platter. The seafood was very fresh and full of flavour. The owner was so lovely and we really enjoyed chatting to him. The train passing was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.

We had the most beautiful final meal of our trip here. Everything was perfect. We had the spicy fish curry and king prawns, both were amazing. Chef carefully checks level of spice with you so I was able to get the spicy curry I’d been trying to find in Sri Lanka 😊 the complimentary mango ice cream to finish was amazing. We loved chatting to the owners 16 year old son, incredibly interesting to talk to. Highly highly recommend. It felt like a high end restaurant but at reasonable prices.

Very reasonably priced if you compare it to similar joints and the food is packed with flavour. Really enjoyed their fish curry and grilled king prawns. Ask them for their daily fresh catch.

Excellent sea food offer we both had grilled fish and it was cooked to perfection. Absolutely delicious. The service was great with the waiters happy to part with some local knowledge if you ask. The only thing spoiling it was the noise of loud music coming from Rana next door. Why you would need to do that in such a peaceful place is beyond me.
