A lovely restaurant inside the walls of the castle. We ate some tradition food and it was all very good. The lady is very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy on the first floor. Lookout of the window into the cute streets!

Clearly one of the best restaurant we could try in Albania ! Fresh food, amazing taste, cooked with love, it was mind blowing. Try the stuffed eggplant, the fry meat balls, or the musaka : amazing work. Service is kind, music is good, and price are perfectly adjusted. Hands down !

Delightful find! Small, local food restaurant with amazing and delish Albanian meals. The lamb pairs very well with the stuffed eggplant. Also highly recommend the Ferges… so good! The Pispili was also delicious! Surprisingly good White wine from the village. Highly recommend!!

This is the first time I write a review because this place deserves it so much. I‘ve literally just gotten back from a lovely dinner there on my own. It‘s a small restaurant run by (I think) a family. The girls waitressing are the absolute sweetest and spread such warmth. They spoke English super well which was helpful. The stuffed aubergines I had were a dream. The restaurant is located in a small valley leading to the castle and my absolute highlight so far. When you go in you basically enter the kitchen where you can see with how much love this place is run. Thank you for such a lovely evening!

Great experience at Temi, as always. It feels like you’re in someone’s home eating their homemade cooking. Everyone is so kind, the food is delicious, and the prices are pretty good for the location. It’s not everyday you get to eat homemade food INSIDE A CASTLE! And on top of it all, when we were about to leave, they gave a delicious little apple dessert.

Great and friendly staff but to be honest we didn't like that food so much. Maybe it's homemade but it's not freshly cooked. It's precooked and then heated because it didn't take that much time until we get served. The lamb portion was not that much and the potatoes were pretty hard like they were not ready to serve.

The food at Temi’s was delicious and authentic. Probably the best meal we have had in Albania, so good that we had to order the meatballs (Qofte) twice. Service and atmosphere was incredible and it felt like being invited into the home of an Albanian family. If you’re in Berat, definitely recommend stopping by and trying their amazing food. faleminderit ☺️

Quite possibly the best moussaka you will ever have in your life. I don’t know what else I can say. Everything else we ordered was incredibly delicious too, but their moussaka (a family recipe) absolutely stole the show. We’re now planning how to fit this place in again before we leave tomorrow, but don’t you worry, we will. **UPDATE Moussaka Round 2:** As promised, we adjusted our schedule to ensure we came back the very next night for what some have called the GOAT of moussakas. I wised up and ordered two this time since I only got a mere sampling of yesterday’s single order which was thoroughly enjoyed by my beautiful wife :) Again, this 2nd round of moussaka was absolutely delicious! Took better pics this time to showcase the luscious layering of flavours with just the right balance of nutmeg and spices. It was vegetarian too and as a meat eater myself, I didn’t even notice which speaks to how good this moussaka really is. Berat is a beautiful UNESCO heritage site worth visiting all on its own, but I would have come here just for the moussaka alone; it’s just that damn good.

Has an amazing meal our first night in albania. Traditional and cheap, friendly service. Highly recommend the mousaka, haven’t had a better once since.

All that a vegan heart desires.. stuffed peppers (rice+veggies), stuffed eggplants (more veggies), grilled okra salad, stuffed pumpkin (veggies) - we rolled back down the hill after finishing the nice food. The staff was also extremely friendly, can highly recommend 🤤 Usually the dishes come with cheese, so definitely tell them to skip on that if you’re vegan :) Absolute must go for vegans after visiting the Berat castle. We were even lucky enough to find a wild turtle on the walk

Definitely the best authentic restaurant I ever visited! Love from the first step in: cute cats, young lady and man, warm atmosphere and very cozy interior. The cuisine is 100 of 5! Everything is homemade. Mountain tea and Gliko Portokall is something amazing! Fruit plate from the staff was very nice. Guys, keep doing this! You’re the best ♥️♥️♥️♥️

It was the best Albanian food we had so far. They offer a lot of vegetarian option. Family run restaurant with very friendly service. Highly recommended!

A charming little restaurant inside the castle walls. Service is excellent. We ordered the lamb with yogurt, stuffed pumpkin and a village salad. We were also given an appetizer on the house. Everything was so delicious and fresh. If you are visiting the castle you have to visit Temi!

This is the one, folks. It has the views, the decor, the welcoming smiles, and the homemade food including the mousaka of a lifetime. Very affordable considering.

we came here twice in one week and we felt like we were treated like family. the food is great and the staff are also great. in the photo you see the cake the lady made which my wife ate so fast i couldnt get a photo of :) i definitely recommend this place

We only stayed one night in Berat and had dinner here. A table outside and everything was perfect. The food we had delicious (Qufte, stuffed Pepper @ baked Lamb in yogurt) Definitely would have eaten here every evening if we would have spend more days in Berat

AMAZING food, service and atmosphere. We had Moussaka, chicken and rice and fruit salad and all was super tasty. The waitress even brought out burning coffee to keep the wasps away from us! Amazing.

Temi's restaurant is a wonderful place to eat within the castle. The homemade food is delicious and they are very welcoming. Range of dishes which were all great. Lovely views out to the hills as well. Highly recommend!

The best food we've had our trip to Albania, by far! The moussaka was out of this world, but so were all the other dishes, like thbell pepper and feta. Get a dessert too! White wine was fresh and perfect. The atmosphere is gorgeous, service was impeccable, very friendly. This is a family owned restaurant and the whole family cooks, such a great place. Highly recommended!

Lovely restaurant in the castle quarter of Berat. Seating outside is pretty limited so come early or make a reservation. Alternatively you may sit in the too room where it feels like in an alpine hut, has it’s own charme. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Food selection is great and very tasty. Considering the price and location i can gighly recommend it!

I want to give this place 100 stars .. I really loved the place, food and they have a cute friendly cat 🐈 I will definitely go there again, its one of the best albanian home made food with love ❤️

Very budget friendly restaurant located inside Berat Castle serving traditional Albanian food. The vegetable soup was nice and hot but overall it was quite bland which was disappointing. I was really looking forward to the stuffed peppers but again they lacked seasoning and weren't the best that I had in Albania. Not a bad place to stop if you're already at the castle but don't walk up the hill specifically to eat here.

This is the best food we had from our trip in Albania. You can tell this is homemade and the chef knows how to play with flavors. We took the stuffed pumpkins and the meat ball and it was super tasty. The service was great and they kindly offered us the dessert for free. They don’t accept the card but all good with cash. Highly recommended it!

We had tge best dinner at Temi last week. It was our 1st night in Albania and it was memorable. The food is homemade and fresh and cooked to order. We enjoyed the cat sitting with us too. Excellent!

Best food in Berat, very well located, everything is fresh. This is Albanian traditional food. The mother is cooking the meals and the daughter(s) are doing a perfect service. Reservation is suggested or a very early arrival.

Best Moussaka we had in Albania, really good other dishes as well. The atmosphere is nice, sitting in the castle of Berat. The restaurant is family runned and you can look right into the kitchen when you enter the place. The people are really friendly and sweet. Prices are also reasonable. I can recommend having a nice dinner there.
