Very clean cabins and the kitchen is equipped with full amenities which is quite good. There is a small supermarket at the entrance which is literally a blessing to buy the essentials. The staffs seems to be friendly. What could have been improved is the bed mattresses. The lousy mattress was sliding out of the bed during the night. The pillows & poor mattresses are kinda plastic materials and quality. It caused neck pain. Overall my nights were pathetic. I left the cabins with strong back pain. Capfun should seriously consider improving the mattress quality. Planning a visit? Do bring your own pillows or make sure your spinal code is insured😜

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS. Shameful service by the staff. And literal thieves. We had to cancel our trip because our child was sick with virus. And they will not reimburse. What do they expect us to do to bring our sick baby and infect everyone. you have no humanity. Shame on you people.

Awful. No WifFi signal in the cabin, shops and bars are closed randomly and loud construction noises at 20m distance from our caravan. Arrogant staff making false promises after multiple complaints. No excuses offered, no empathy. Manager did not show. No compensation offered. Treated like a nuisance despite (initial) politeness. French hospitality. Stay away!

Nobody speaks english. Neither the staff, nor the other guests. Everything is poorly maintained. Toilets are half broken and dirty, showers are cold. Wildlife is thriving in the saintaire groups, from spider webs that probably date from a year ago to bird nests, you can enjoy everything alongside poop smeared on the walls. Paths are either just dirt paths or asphalted but in a terrible state. There is night lighting. Cars should drive at a max speed of 10km/h, but nobody bothers to reinforce this rule and people seem to use their cars even within the camping site. We were promissed kids entertainment in Dutch. There were 2 hours of kids club on friday where there was one dutch speaking lady. That was it. Nothing during the weekend and the following monday the dutch lady was gone. There is a restaurant at the entrance, looks like a cross between a country side disco from and a military canteen. They have tables in a row with wooden benches, disco balls and colored lights. I didn't dare try the food. The only plus was the swimming pool which was rather nice, bar the state of the stairs to the slides, but kids don't see that and until they collapse, we're all good. We were very disappointed!

To start off the reason for the poor star rating is not because of the accommodation, this was great and super clean. But it was due to the pool staff making me angry within 2 hours of me being at the park. There seems to be a regimented rules to suit the pool staff that seems silly. I wouldn't be surprised if I would be told off for chewing gum. When entering the pool area you are asked to remove your shoes which is fair enough, you are then asked to walk through a freezing cold trough of water to clean your feet before entering which is fine and understand. This is also the same when entering the changing room. Now the bit that i find daft is you dry off in the freezing changing room only to be made to walk through the water out of the changing room again. Then when we tried to leave the pool entrance you are made again to walk through this pool of dirty water (my feet were clean) and left stranded outside the fence on a dirty mat holding your shoes and socks with wet feet. I asked the guard if I can leave by the other gate (no water at this gate and was right next to the exit gate) and he said no.. i protested and he said I had to walk through the dirty water and i cannot dry my feet. Now at this point and I complaining and I was going to jump the fence because it was ludicrous that I had to wet my feet to leave the pool area and not only that, the water was dirty and not hygienic. The only reason I did not jump the fence was because we had only arrived at the park and did not want to get thrown out. It would not have hurt the jobsworth to let me out the dry gate so i can pop my shoes on. If you are visiting here make sure you take flipflops or a small towel to wipe your feet and take a shower when you get back to your accommodation. Rest of the park was fine, but would not spend more than 3 days ZERO WIFI Zone C had 4g but Zone F had very little 4g Recommend Zone C.... Very nice and in forest Boggy outside our accommodation in early April, but will improve in summer.

Beautiful campsite if you are visiting with kids, do keep in mind it’s a massive site so there is more traffic then usual and some places are busier then normal. Other then that, perfect service and well maintained

This is a good place for families. Enough activities to do on site and close to the beach. One thing to realize is that this is a big camping with a few thousand people on site during summer holidays. Not speaking French can be inconvenient at times.

We took a punt on this site and were really pleasantly surprised. The photos on the capfun website really dont do the swimming pools justice! We stayed with our 5 year old and he absoloutely loved the pools-especially the splash about area with great mini slides. All pools were heated and the 3 large slides were absolutely great. The playground area is well equipped with tennis courts, crazy golf, basketball court, outdoor gym, table tennis and a good play park for the kids. We were just into low season so didn't experience the animations and the site was really quiet - with mostly French families - all great for us! Our teenagers (who weren't with us on this trip) would have loved the pool too. The pool is the definate plus point for this site, but staff were really friendly and the beach was a short bike ride away. We stayed here for a 3 night getaway and hired one of the new mobile homes - which were brand new and great value compared to other campsites that we were researching. The only downside was the fact that the pitches needed landscaping and partitioning but hopefully this is in something that might happen over the winter. We are proper campers so checked out the touring pitches - which are ideal - non marked pitches close to the pool with some trees around. The campsite is clearly being renovated and we look forward to visiting again next year to see how it evolves - i predict that 2 years and they will have nailed it. This is a short stay campsite in our opinion and we would highly recommend Saint Valerie Sur Mer as a pretty typically French medievil town to visit.

Lovely holiday. Staff very friendly, even if they didn't speak English or understand our French... Chalet was clean and comfortable, the pool was lovely and the slides were excellent. Theres no restaurant on site, only a snack bar, and things are closed if its off season (which seemd to be Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Nearest towns of Quend and Fort Mahon, 5or 10 minute drive, have lots of nice places to eat and drink. Would certainly go back!

Nice camping in a nice area. Huge space and clean. We arrived in March and it was one of the few open. Staid one night so we did not see or use many facilities. From the stuff we did i rate it 4 stars.

Absolutely love this place. Very French and loads for the kids to do. Caraboom the kids love and the water slides are quality. All for a very affordable price even in the school holidays!

Bad accommodation with stone cold shower (even after filing three complains at the desk) and a hard bed. Unfriendly personal that hardly speaks any English. Not be coming back.

👍 Nice, friendly restaurant in Quend Plage. We ate inside as the terrace was full and it was spacious and well designed. Good range of seafood and fish (the oysters were particularly good) and some meat and pasta dishes. Most people seem to order the moules but there was an excellent sirloin steak as...
