Bouldering gym inside a mountain bunker. You gotta go into the deep of the mountain to get to it, really cool location. The gym (at least during July-August 2019) is self-serve. One of the members helped us get a membership and monthly pass. If you're are Norwegian, you can self-pay using the "Vipps" smartphone app, we tried it but you need a valid Norgewian ID number to register a Vipps account, so we ended up paying with an American credit card thanks to the member that fired up the point of sale app after registering us with a web based system they have. got to login on my Spotify account at the front desk computer and blast my chillhop playlists for all the people in the room as we climbed. Also, free chalk and cool vibes.

Dear travelers be warned, do not waste your time trying to go there. We did 1hour walk to finally get stuck in front of the door (during open hours). There's confusing signs that tell you to install various apps that tell you to register bit doesn't help you enter. No one to help you. We try to call as well but no reply... one afternoon of our vacation wasted.

If you are in town for a few days and looking for a place to climb, this is not the place. You need a membership. Without that, you cannot climb.

The gym is hidden in what looks like a bunker deep under an office building. You enter though the parking garage and follow the signs. We went there in the summer and it looked like the gym was pretty much self-serve. Some other members helped us to register and pay. The climbing was great - interesting and varied setting, cool people, clean holds.

Very much enjoyed bouldering here. Finding and opening the entrance door might give some small challenges (I ended up just following a local climber I randomly met before the entrance). The door might need a little harder pull as usual due to pressure difference caused by ventilation… Climbing shoos for rental are available and CreditCards accepted.

Amazing gym that's difficult to find (walk through the tunnel then follow signs). Really impressive setting, and unusually clean for a climbing gym.

The most expensive drop in I ever paid. It is a nice small bouldering center, but the price (150kr) is completely over the top.

Although bryggeriet seems to be popular it suffers under the syndrome that is very common among bouldering gyms, namely that the ones who make the routes are a bit too pro for the average recreational climber. This means the routes on the higher level are probably great, but the ones on medium and lower medium are largely missing or a lot harder than they are rated.

Best climbing gym I’ve ever been to. Cheap day pass, friendly staff, and every option imaginable. Bouldering, lead, training boards, hang boards, etc. 10/10

You enter the gym via the parking lot, which you access from the street slightly to the west of where Google Maps marks the location. From there you will see signs with arrows that will guide you.

Cool place inside a bunker in a parking garage with the entrance on the backside of EXtra. It is a bouldering gym with no rope climbing routes. Routes are well thought-through, and there is something for every level. Friendly people and a good atmosphere even though the area is rather small. There is a little gym/training area with hangboards and moonboards. With changing rooms and a shower. This Sunday they had a movie night with free entry, hot cocoa and popcorn.

(Translated by Google) Nice routes. Recommend annual cards, then you get a key card and can rattle outside the opening hours. (Original) Fine ruter. Anbefaler årskort, da får man nøkkelkort og kan buldre utenom åpningstidene.

(Translated by Google) Hard to give the brewery full score. There are nice routes and very good atmosphere constantly. But the wardrobes are bad, and the location far inside a parking garage is not optimal. (Original) Vanskelig å gi bryggeriet full score. Det er fine ruter og veldig god stemning bestandig. Men garderobene er dårlige, og plasseringen langt inne i en parkeringsgarsje er ikke optimal.

Great little bouldering gym 20min walk from Bergen city center. It is located in a Cold War era bomb shelter in the mountain mainly repurposed as a parking hall, and can be a little tricky to find, but there are signs from the main entrance - look for the door in the pink wall. The problems are varied, frequently changed, and suitable for all level climbers. There is also a small gym on the second level, and free coffee!

🫤 Score suppose to be 1 but i give one more because climbing routes are Very good! Routes setter made fantastisk jobb but rest is a joke and catastrophe.
