Terrible experience in the restaurant. My father has a gluten intolerance and I have severe celiac disease, so we immediately asked which dishes were gluten free, and the waitress listed off everything from the entrees to the desserts which were gluten free. Considering I wasn't hungry, I asked her again which desserts were gluten free, and chose the dame blanche after confirming -for a third time- that it was gluten free. But then, when she brings out the food, the dame blanche just blatantly had a waffer in it. When I questioned her about it, she just said to take it out and everything else about it was gluten free and left. Obviously I did not touch it. When she came out again a minute later and saw that I hadn't touched it, she said "What do you not want it." and I asserted again that I *couldn't* eat it. She then asked of she should remove the waffer, and I replied that that wouldn't make a difference, considering I have a severe allergies and it was literally in the ice cream. She then picked it up, asked if there was anything else I wanted(did not offer to remake it) and when I said no, she left. And the most insulting thing is that they put it on the check. We were obviously upset and asked her why we should have to pay for it when we didn't eat it and it was their fault that she had to take it back in the first place. She just kept repeating "No" and saying that "We ordered it". Despicable and rude. I have never had such a entitled and unpleasant experience eating out before. Messing up an order and risking me becoming violently ill is one thing, but making us pay for their mistake? That's just evil.

Every February we stop over at Hotel Saint-Nicolas on our way to Switzerland for skiing and it is a part of our holiday the whole family really look forward to. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and the rooms are excellent, even the cheapest ones. Thoroughly recommended and we're already looking forward to next year even though we have only just got back!

À very nice and comfortable hôtel in a historical house near the medevial town centre. Very friendly hosts, view on the romantic street, restaurants within five minutes walk. The private car park is really helpful. Highly recommend !

Lovely hotel. We were very lucky choosing the location! Just in the heart of this fairytale village. The room was comfortable and clean with the basic essentials. The bedding, pillows and bath towels were clean and spotless. Warm hospitality and friendly welcoming.

Stayed here for a quick stop on our journey but what an amazing little place this is! Service is really friendly, rooms are spacious and have everything while set in this Christmas movie little town. 10/10 would recommend. Just a little warning for people with reduced mobility, everything are stairs and no elevators to the floors.

Room is small, as expected, but clean and bed is quite comfortable. As with most hotels in Europe the room doesn’t have AC but we are provided with a fan. When temperature at night goes below 20°C we sleep with opened window and fan switched off. We like the concept of Honesty Bar where we claim what we take from the common bar.

We found the room to be large and comfortable with the skylight being a welcome addition. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is top-notch. Great location in a charming town. Note - there is no lift, so some folks managing suitcases up the staircases could be a challenge.

Hotel: very nice location right in the medieval part of the village. Cute room, on the basic side of things. Thin and squicky ceiling/floors. Restaurant: authentic deco, delicious food and wine. Recommended.

Love it. Very nice hotel, clean, cosy, warm, with kind employees. Has a good restaurant and a confortable lounge room. The space combines with the town Riquewihr.
