I
came
for
coffee
and
stayed
for
a
meal.
Being
foreign
I
do
not
know
the
etiquette
of
seating
oneself
at
an
eatery.
I
wandered
the
dining
area
--virtually
empty
at
the
time
I
arrived--
until
finally
someone
approached
me
to
help.
I
was
previously
able
to
distinguish
who
was
staff
and
who
guests.
I
was
presented
with
a
menu
in
English
which
was
out
of
date,
at
least
on
prices.
The
espresso
was
an
espresso,
very
much
what
I
expect
from
any
other
espresso.
While
drinking
the
coffee,
I
did
some
writing
and
internet
things
on
my
phone.
I
was
never
approached
with
a
bill
and
every
time
I
made
eye
contact
with
a
passing
server,
I
was
not
asked
if
I
needed
anything
more
(including
to
pay
the
bill!)
After
thirty
minutes
of
trying
to
subtly
summon
help,
I
broke
down
and
did
what
I
would
normally
consider
rude
and
simply
interrupted
a
server
walking
past.
The
Hertog
Jan
grilled
sandwich
is
really
good,
filling
and
way
under-priced.
