The "Wolkenhain" viewing platform is an architectural "cloud" with great views over east Berlin. Take the meandering walk up through the park (free), or hop on a cable car to get here. There's also toilets and a café at the top.

Amazing place for whole day picnic, family day, kids specially and me time.

This is a very beautiful place. Offers a wonderful view of Berlin and the surrounding area. especially at sunset

I recommend to come in the evening! The night view is the best in Berlin! It is a bit difficult to find the way because it is dark. But in the end we found the route and it is worth even the weather was so cold!

It's near the Garten der welt and you can see the Berlin from top of that. It's a good place for seeing the city.

Ah, the place Berliner's come to gaze at their navel (the Alex). Four years I've spent trying to lure my friends outside their gemutlich Ring to come have some BBQ in my spacious backyard and climb the hill with me. No luck. Does Marzahn even exist? The view is incredible; I swear you can see all the way to Poland on a clear day! Spend a small fortune for a scenic ride on the gondola. Spend another small fortune for a too-fast ride on the 'bobsled' (if they ever finish repairing it). Enjoy a cuppa at the café and then ride the gondola the rest of the way down to the amazing Garten der Welt. A wonderful day out, and a great way to say hello to your long-lost friends in the burbs!

Take a walk up the hill, or use the cable car to see an amazing panorama view of Berlin's vast skyline.
