This hotel was mostly good, but was lacking in a few items that led to a 3-star rating. The good: The location is great, close to plenty of public transportation so it's easy to get around. The hotel itself is really beautiful, with a trendy lobby, plenty of comfy seats to hang out in, and with really modern bedrooms that had great nightstands with plenty of plugs available for use. The bathroom has a separate wash closet for the toilet, which is SO good when traveling as a couple. Everything was clean and tidy. When you did interact with staff they were friendly enough. The bad: Though the hotel boasts having AC, that could not be further from the truth. All rooms have a thermostat with a screen allowing you to choose a temperature, but that seems to be only an illusion. When we reported the issue to the front desk in the morning, we were told it would be addressed. At the end of the day nothing had been done and so they kindly put us in a different room. Alas, the same exact problem was in this room too, and they hadn't set the room up completely, so the second room didn't have enough towels, and had no soap or shampoo, etc. We would have opened the window, but the room overlooked the tram tracks, which were loud enough with windows shut. Finally, it was impossible to get anybody to answer the front desk phone, so if you needed anything, the only way to talk to someone was to wait in line at the reception. Very frustrating.

Nettes aufmerksames Personal. Das Frühstück ist einfach nur Super. Für jeden etwas dabei. Zimmer Waren eigentlich geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Bis aus schwarz gelbe Kissen. Die konnte ich ja auch den Flur stellen 😂 Die Tür plus Zarge im Bad waren schon sehr Reparaturdürftig.

Overall the rooms were okay, the climate was good. The breakfast was good, with a variety of options available. The receptions friendliness was not good, not forthcoming and not very helpful at all. When the queue during the checkin was the longest, half the staff was busy chatting and having fun, rather than getting people checked-in, it also seemed like too much to ask for anything. This included the hotel manager himself, rather keeping people from doing their work. I would expect him to care about guests best interests, not his own. I would have appreciated and expected a bit more service. Reception/service wise this was a 3/10. For a 4 star superior hotel in a location on the edge of the center, this needs to improve. On top of that most other attractions of the hotels were not open and closed for renovation, which did not help to improve the experience. If you are going to Berlin to see the city and enjoy a stay at a hotel, then I would recommend to move closer to the center where you can easily find better hotels for the same price. I gave the overall score a 3, although I would put it at 2.5.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is the best part of the hotel. It gives you direct access to Galeria and Railway station and a couple of minutes walk to the gate of the old town. The hotel suits more for business stays from the minimal decor of the lobby. The entrance lacks grandeur. They have a restaurant and bar at the lobby. The room was spacious , clean as well as the bathroom , they can improve on toiletries and dental kit etc. Rooms have an empty mini refrigerator (thankfully) and electric kettle with bare minimum tea/coffee sachets . Nothing Luxurious in this segment. I asked the staff at the reception to suggest us with traditional polish restaurants for our anniversary dinner next day, he suggested us with names of few restaurants , however did not even bother to wish us verbally. So yes in terms of hospitality way to go. We have had previous experiences where in Hotels in this segment (claiming 4 stars) usually compliment guests on their special days with chocolate , wine or flowers . The price which we paid seemed higher than what was offered. We did not try the breakfast as we wanted to explore local bakeries around so cannot comment on it.

My room was spacious, tidy and clean. In the room you can find all the standard equipment: tea/coffee service, hair dryer. Bathroom is big and there is not only a shower, but also a bathtub, so you can take long baths there. There is no balcony. Breakfast was really tasty and there was also vegan choice. We read that in this hotel is water/spa area with jacuzzi, I wanted to use it. However, it turned out that this jacuzzi area is mixed nudits area, so I couldn't use it. I did not see any information about it on hotel website or on booking.

Did not stay there but tried the spa treatments. The new manager Heidi gave me a wonderful facial and brow trim. Friendly, professional, high-quality service in a nice setting, I highly recommend. Thank you Heidi!

The staff were very friendly and polite. The service was very good. Rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was also very good. The only complaint was the train noise the whole day. I recommend you ask for a room on the other side of the hotel to avoid this noise.

Upmarket hotel with a convenient location connecting it to a big street and public transport. The surrounding area itself is mostly urban. Rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. Facilities were great, with a spa available. Breakfast, lunch and dining offered as buffet with great quality and variety each time. The eating area was well designed, clean, staff quick and attentive. Additionally, you’ll find a bar on the 14th floor overlooking the surroundings. Big downside was the front desk (2 stars on service). Check-in and out was extremely slow. We waited more than 20 minutes for 5 guests in front of us to get attended to.

Room was lovely, hotel very nice (breakfast high quality, lots of selection). High standard overall. Staff however seemed not to be able to work the system at check in and whenever calling the hotel one would be on hold for at least 20 minutes (called twice). Check in took 30 minutes due to check in taking 15minutes for each guest and a queue forming.

Hatte hier ein Superior Doppelzimmer gebucht. Ausstattung absolut okay. Hell und freundlich eingerichtet. Alles sauber sowie auch das Badezimmer. Frühstück mit allem was man braucht. Super Bar ich glaube im 14. Stock. Toller Ausblick über Berlin. Und mehrere Restaurants im Hotel. Ich komme gerne wieder.

We booked the hotel for 4 nights during NYE and the room was clean and nice. The bathroom had issues with water getting warm/cold/hot during showering. Also the water came through the door so the bathroom was wet everywhere. The light of the room to signal the cleaning staff didn’t work well too, so they kept coming. It’s not noisy and it was a nice stay overall.

Friendly staff and great location. I had a bit of an issue upon checking-in. Was supposed to receive a suite upgrade because of my diamond Wyndham status, however, after viewing my room it was just a standard room with a sad view of the interior courtyard. I went down to reception to see if they had any suites available. She said yes, but it will cost €50. I told her I had Diamond status; she said I didn't. Then I told her that I do again. She then said OK, and either saw something on the computer or just decided to believe me. Not sure. Anyway, she moved me to a different room and all was well. The room could've been a little cleaner, but the size was great.

at the check in they did not inform us about the spa included in the price, did not tell anything about check out time. the room was cleaned at 9.00 in the morning while we just came from breakfast, which was a bit strange. huge hotel = long way from the lift to the room and back every time.

My stay at the hotel was incredibly comfortable. The room was spacious and well-designed, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was plush and inviting, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel amenities, such as the spa and fitness center, added to the overall comfort and allowed me to unwind and rejuvenate. The staff was attentive and responsive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. I felt at ease throughout my stay, and it was a truly enjoyable and comfortable experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a comfortable and tranquil retreat.

0 flexibility in changing dates, even a month prior. So I'm giving a 1 star review already, prior to my visit. Hope the stay will be better, but hard job to take away the feeling I already have. Update: Now that I have been, some more remarks: - fitness is quite good, happy with that - rooms are good too - the personnel is unfriendly, one was even making fun of a customer checking out for not being able to speak english, right in front of me. (he made a joke in English about why you would come to a foreign country if you can't speak either Deutsch or English).

Whilst I enjoyed my stay at Vienna House at the time, once I left I noticed there was a random transaction of £606 charged to my bank account from the hotel. We had already pre-paid for the room months ago so I immediately phoned the hotel to have this money refunded. They have been extremely slow to respond to this situation and after almost 2 weeks the money has still not been refunded. I appreciate that financial mistakes like this can take a little while to sort out but I have not been kept up to date with what is going on. I have been phoning and emailing over the last week with no response. In my opinion the least a company can do in this situation is express sincere apologies and keep the customer updated with when the money will be returned. This is a big sum of money to have mistakenly charged a customer and has been a huge inconvenience for me. Due to this my stay at the hotel has been completely tarnished and I would not stay again. Very poor customer service.

Water temperature in the shower is unstable. The queue at the reception is 20 min long. My TV has been turning on at 9am for no reason. Also missing some important amenities in the room like toothbrush, SHAMPOO, slippers, earplugs, comb. The four-star status of this place is a joke.

The hotel is sooo beautiful, it has everything and the service is super nice. The rooms are comfortable, and the spa is a good area to stay a while. ❤️

Great Hotel. Very large, but I enjoyed my stay. The food at breakfast unfortunately was a downside, quality and variety is substandard for a hotel of that size. Location wise I did not feel safe walking alone after nightfall, it is also kind of far away from most things. Plus side: The train is right below and you can get anywhere quite quickly using Ringbahn.

Love this hotel. Stylish, friendly and affordable. Great breakfasts with amazing servers. Lovely ambiance in the seating areas in the lobby. Would recommend to anyone visiting Berlin as it is only a 10 minute tram ride from Alexanderplatz which is one of the main transport hubs.

The hotel is good, but overall quality has decreased noticeably since 8 years ago. A main issue is that the hotel is too warm--turning the heat down a bit could probably save a lot of money. Overall quality of cooking has also gone down due to the use of frozen and packaged ingredients. (Perhaps savings from turning the heat down could be used to purchase better ingredients used in the cooking!) Customer service was generally excellent, but technical service during our conference was frequently insufficient--we asked several times for technical support but did not receive any. Some minor repair issues have appeared throughout the hotel in the last 8 years and should be addressed. Perhaps covid and a change in management had an impact. Nonetheless, I like the hotel for our conference, and it was convenient to get to by public transport.

Ths is my go-to hotel when I stay in Berlin. Rooms are large with all necessary comforts and the hotel is in a convenient location for all the sights. The breakfast buffet has a great selection and all staff are friendly and helpful.

I went to the restaurant on the top floor and after a hour and a half they told me that they lost my order and there is nothing else to eat and they let me go...11 in the night! If I was the owner of this restaurant I would call right now the manager and fire him..

Nice hotel! Only the view ( and then the noise ) on the railway wasn't expected for the price of the room. Nice breakfast with lot of choices.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in recent years, the last for 3 nights from 12 to 15 February 2022 and confirm my excellent opinion. Very nice and modern. The room that was assigned to me (located at the highest floor as requested) was extremely spacious and very well cared as well as having a beautiful view from above. Free WiFi was perfect both in the common area that in the room. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. Friendly staff. Another positive note is the beautiful spa with Sauna, Turkish Bath, and relaxation area.

Nice hotel, good location. There is a tram and train station opposite Rooms are spacious and well equipped, only downside for me was, there is a long walk from the elevators to the rooms. Breakfast is very expensive at £16 per day also drinks on the roof bar we're over priced but the views are spectacular

Great hotel. Very fantastic. A rare blend of class, luxury and comfort. Strategically located in the heart of Berlin with a breathtaking view. The event halls here are exceptional and one of the best you will find in Berlin. I enjoyed every bit of my stay here.

I have to be fair in that my review may not be for everyone. I was there for an conference and the circumstances surrounding that with the audience we were not ideal. This is a crowd that needs a steady supply of alcohol, Vienna House is not a good spot for this. There is the Skybar but it was closed to private party one night and there are no local taverns or walking options. A portion of our audience hated the place based on that merit. Also, it has the feel of some staffing issues that may come to pass. But the conference doors being shut/locked in front was frustrating, at no explanation was given. As for me, I was generally ok with the place. The staff and service are super nice, helpful and friendly. If you are casually staying you're in good shape. A market, and a good pizza place is across the street which is good since food options at the hotel are limited. Breakfast is good.

This hotel looks great, but is lacking in a few things. I don't want to to go in too much details about warm rooms with not working A/C and mini fridge for which guests need to pay ( misluding photos). Someone already mentioned that. Poor communication was the most frustrating experience for me. My flight was delayed 1 day. Since I knew about the delay, I had been trying to contact the hotel and let them know about my late arrival. I sent 3 emails and called several times. No one answered. Expedia also tried calling them. They finally reached the hotel after my stay. The hotel staff wasn't able to answer my questions; apparently, there was a different department to contact during business hours Mon-Fri and he wished me a pleasant stay. No questions asked. Unfortunately, the hotel won't refund the 1st night. It's not the issue anymore. I'm very upset about the whole experience. Lack of communication and very poor assistance made my stay not what I was expecting.

We had a great experience @Viena House Hotel. The staff was kind and friendly, the hotel is nice. The room was big and had everything one needs to be comfortable. The breakfast is very tasty and vast, it has many options. We also highly appreciated that we were allowed to have an early check-in, since our train arrived very early to Berlin. This allowed us to take a rest before discovering the city. The hotel is about 25 min from the train station but it is well connected to public transport. It has literally a tram station and a S (like a regional train) station just in front and it is well surrounded by restaurants and all kind of stores. The only aspect we had was with the water, at the moment to take a shower, the water was changing all the time from cold to burning hot. We indicated this when we did the check-out and we were told that they were going to check the room. We didn't deem necessary to complain while we were in the room. We would definitely recommend this hotel. It also offers a great value for your money.

The service is commendable, the placement is great since there's a train and tram station close by. However, the rooms were terrible, at least if you're there during the warmer months. The AC blows in hot air no matter what, and you can't open the windows since the busy street is too noisy. Secondly the sound-insulation towards the street is a joke, even with the windows closed an ambulance will be so loud you WILL wake up or be kept awake if one passes by. All in all the Hotel would be acceptable during the colder months, although not recommended due to the noise.

It was the best my stay in hotel in Berlin. Just missed the possibility to visit a bar with a view on Berlin as it was closed till the end of September 2022. Additional star goes to the staff. I liked the idea of the way how to show my wish to clean or not my room with receipt of gift if cleaning is not necessary. I liked the flavor of soap, shower gel and shampoo. Only one thing I missed - body cream. Perfect location and view from my room. I loved my relax in SPA even without pool. Breakfast was great, just missed the sea food. Thank you to make my days with shine in Berlin. Definitely I will come back and can recommend to stay in Vienna House Andel`s! ****

The room was very nice, we had a suite with an extra room which was beautiful. The bathroom was modern and clean. Unfortunately due to staffing issues the roof top bar was unable to be opened. The young man from check in was very friendly and forthcoming, the lady at check out this morning, didnt really seem to service orientated - a smile goes a long way.

Overall satisfied. Good bed, good pillows. excellent water pressure. Maybe the only thing I would advice that I have seen in other similar hotels is a Nespresso (or similar) coffee machine in the room. Next to public transportation. Very convenient. I hope to be back.
