I reserved a standard room with twin beds, but upon arrival, I was assigned a room with a single bed designed for disability access. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the receptionist responded rudely, directing me to check Expedia. My concern is: why does the hotel provide inaccurate information on Expedia? If a reservation is incorrect, why accept it in the first place? The safe locker remained dysfunctional despite their inspection; they failed to repair it. The shower exhibits extremely low pressure, and despite complaints, the hotel has yet to address the issue. Despite requesting a standard room without disability access, the hotel claimed it was unavailable. However, the room designated for disability access features a shower positioned unusually low. How am I supposed to shower? Crouch down?

Wie immer, schöner Aufenthalt, nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück, perfekte Lage mit Tiefgarge. Einzig ein paar E-Autoladesäulen müsste es so langsam mal in der Tiefgarage geben, das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert, das Hotel ist meine erste Wahl bei Aufenthalten in Berlin.

My sister and I stayed here this week to visit the Christmas Markets, we had a very comfortable and clean room. We chose to pay for the breakfasts and we found it great value, such a huge amount of choice for this buffet style service, you are really set for the day. Walking distance to many places of interest to visit, and public transport very near and convenient. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time!

Hotel ist super gelegen mitten in Berlin, man kommt überall zu Fuß hin. Aber auch die UBahn ist vor der Tür. Jedoch ziemlich laut genau an der Straße. Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Betten sind okay, die Ausstattung der Zimmer völlig ausreichend. Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Frühstück ist sehr gut.

Fast checkin, fabulous breakfast, great location and a bar for chilling in after a hectic day of seeing the wonderful sights. The hotel was spotless, all the staff were very friendly our room was really quiet, clean, warm and spacious and I loved the rituals toiletries. We stayed as a family of 3 our 11 year old in the sofa bed the room was big and plenty of space for luggage etc. bathroom lovely. Would definitely stay here again if we wanted to visit this particular areas if Berlin. Close to underground and the big attractions. Thanks, we had a fantastic time.

The room was cozy, all was clean and tidy. Most importantly the team was super friendly, helpful and always smiling! I loved the hotel and will surely book a stay in it again.

Glorified motel at 4-star hotel price. Rank bathroom where toilet and shower are built into the same surface, sad carpeting, and cheap hospital interior design. Breakfast is not-inclusive and expensive, location is central: do yourself a favour and go for Leonardo-Mitte or Melia-Mitte.

Very friendly and helpful personnel and great location. The hotel needs renovation: carpet is old and with stains, furniture is old, chipped. Not up to 4 stars, in my opinion. The bed was comfortable but the blanket was acrylic which means that one gets very warm, too warm with it and if air conditioning does not work… (which happened to me) it is simply difficult to have a good nights sleep. If one opens the window, one can hear the loud traffic …

Rooms were dirty, the carpet was so old, worn and dirty I had to wear socks. The bathroom tiles were mouldy. I felt really uncomfortable staying in the room. Value for money was bad, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Checkin was quick and efficient, with the agent well versed in the property features, local highlights and ALL benefits at the property. The checkin agent was very friendly! Rooms were extremely large, comfortable beds, decent sized bathrooms. Housekeeping staff kept the room immaculate everyday. Absolutely phenomenal location, away from the craziness of the city, but only a ten minute walk in and so well connected with the underground lines! Supermarket underneath is cheap and convenient!

The bartenders are very nice!! Apart from that, everything was good. Rooms are clean, staff are nice and helpful. The view from our window was amazing.

The hotel is very well positioned, many major attractions are within walking distance and the metro station is less than 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Parking available (indoor garage) for 20 euros/night, nice gym and sauna, cute children corner.

Only gripe was the coffee & milk in room. There was only enough for 1 cup each per day. I left a note to request more coffee & milk & was given none (not even 1 per person) so had to call reception 3 separate times on my visit to get more. The other 2 couples in my party also had to request more coffee & milk. Small but niggling inconvenience.

we were made very welcome - the staff were helpful and the rooms well proportioned and very comfortable. The breakfast selection was extremely good - definitely a good choice for a city centre break.

Hotel staff friendly, welcoming and helpful .Room clean and comfortable. Bar area good, breakfast delicious with wide choice but evening meal choices more limited. Great location for walking to Alexander Platz and many Christmas markets nearby. Also only a 2 minute walk to SpittleMarkt u-bahn.

The location is very good and one can easily walk to the attraction points. The staff was welcoming. The price for car parking could be less expensive (20 Euro per day).

My partner and I stayed in the Novotel for week at the start of December. The room was lovely and clean, and the cleaners made sure we had fresh towels and that the room was spotless each day. The staff were very attentive to a small issue we had (jammed plug) which was fixed quickly. The hotel doesn’t have any facilities (pool or gym) but has a restaurant and bar. Located 100 meters from the Spittlemarket station and a 8-10 minute walk to Alexanderplatz. We loved Berlin in December and this is a great place to stay outside of the hussel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was great and very clean. Huge choice of hot and cold food at breakfast. Great location close to U-bahn Station and within walking distance of many tourist attractions.

Great hotel for family vacation, good location close to the museums, TV tower and all the Berlin attractions. The rooms are clean and good size for a family of four. Free wifi in the rooms.

The AC works perfectly. We could sleep very good. The garage provides enough space for parking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great time. The breakfast is very good.

We stayed as a family and the room was well-organized upon our arrival. All supplies were well-placed, and the staff at Novotel Mitte Berlin was supportive. We appreciate their team. ****Only Concern was Expensive Parking.

Room was spacious with a big double bed and sofa bed. Large TV but no english channels or channels with subtitles apart from 2 channels with news. Pretty much impossible to use big mirror in the room, as on both sides clothes rails and i'ts too dark. Were not provided with enough towels, shampoos were not there either, had to ask reception. Tried to call reception a few times and they just never answered, so had to go downstairs two times. Next day cleaner took most of shampoos away again plus shoe shine too, which was very strange. Wifi was extremely slow and kept disconnecting. Not enough sockets. Breakfast is really bad and extremely overpriced. Location is very good and convenient to explore Berlin, pricing was very good also comparing to others.

My experience with the hotel was amazing. the location is perfect with everything near ,the Staff was very nice and kind, the rooms were very nice and nice decorated ,quite and comfortable also the room was nice with the decoration regarding romania. The breakfast was very good as well and with a lot of variety. We had Just some problem in the 2nd day in one of the rooms with laidy from housekeeping that didn't spoke very good english and wanted to clean our room and we were telling her to come later but she was still insisting but this does not in any way affect my great satisfaction with the accommodation I booked, and I will certainly stay again when I return to Berlin.

Perfect spot for business-related travels, calm surrounds, good connections. I have been coming there a few weeks a year for a few years before the pandemic. Service was always very good, and the staff has always been friendly, especially with reservations during the pandemic.

Comfortable and conveniently-located hotel on the Fischerinsel in the middle of Berlin. Walking distance to Museum Island and lots of attractions. Friendly and helpful staff made our stay very enjoyable, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Big B.

Great room, very comfortable bed, beautiful modern bathroom, friendly staff and most of all, a heavenly breakfast with the largest choice (apart from the usual bacon, eggs, croissants, pancakes... there were several types of cheese and meat, cooked zucchinis, even donuts, brown bread, potatoes, hazelnut spread... Amazing!). I just struggled to understand that you need to choose a breakfast slot and stick to it. Also, in-between slots, they close and clean the room, so you'd better not be late. Only real downside: the doors next to ours were slammed around 8 AM on Monday morning. But other than that, I highly recommend!

Very good Location. Clean. Did not like the old carpetfloor in Room and some unfriendly Staff, which left me without Breakfast. Can recommend. But i think there ist good potential top be better after some correctures.

The hotel was mostly great! The rooms (while outdated) are generally very clean. The room is a bit outdated but the bathroom has been renovated. However, the biggest complaint is the fact that the air conditioning system does not really function.

in General good level, no noise, breakfast excellent but very crowded the weekend because of family. No King size bed possible, and it was too hard. I thought Novotel has a higher standard.

The first impression was good, the hotel is nice, situated in a good central area. We had a superior double room, which was spatious and comfortable and the people from reservations were very nice to offer us a quiet room as I’ve asked (we could still hear the elevator, but still better than the traffic). Unfortunately the room was not very clean and we only received a small soap, a small bottle of shampoo and another small one of body lotion for 2 people for 4 nights!!! Even if I’ve announced the reception and even the manager of the hotel, we finally had to go to supermarket to buy some more! The sheets weren’t changed for 4 nights and room has never been vacuumed. We also had a complaint about the waiter from breakfast, Mr. Aladag, who was supposed to provide us a good service, unfortunately, by contrary, he was very angry when I’ve politely asked him to clean a table for us, starting screaming that there is another clean table, which was around the corner and we couldn’t even see... Afterwards, after we moved at the table which was convenient for him, we went to take some juices and he started screaming again, in the middle of the restaurant, asking about the room number, which we already have told to his colleague from the entrance of the restaurant. So, he didn’t clean the table for us, but he continued screaming like we were criminals. Very “nice” behaviour, it never happened anything like this to me before... At almost 200 euro per night, I was expecting an even better standard for the Novotel Berlin Mitte than the other Novotel and in general Accor hotels, but it was much worse...

The hotel location is amazing and has so much near by to see and explore. The room was well appointed, nice and modern, the shower was fab with plenty of complementary toiletries. The reception staff were welcoming and accommodated our request for an early check in. Will always be coming back here when possible. Thank you for the great service!

Hotel is perfectly situated on MuseumInsel in walking distance of sights and museums. Although on busy street windows are well isolated. Rooms are adequate and clean for this type of Hotel, breakfast was perfect with wide choices of food (better than IBIS from same chain). Hotel is child friendly, staff was professional and helpful. Don´t expect anything unique, this is classical chain hotel. Given the price level of Berlin accomodation this is pretty unbeatable in terms of location and services. Highly reccomended a definitely would stay again. (Stayed 2 adults, 2 kids)

In general the experience wasn't that bad. There were some details though, that kinda soured it. Pro: - in general the staff is nice, especially at lunch - it has a small dedicated area for children to play (Xbox and some interactive table) - quite enough for a hotel like this - parking space below the building Con: - it was not dirty, but the carpet for example looked a little worn out and hat stains in many places (not really their fault, but still) - no info about how much the parking lot will cost (it's about 20 bucks per day or a little less) - some staff were not as friendly (they weren't unfriendly but more... Bored? Annoyed?) - I've booked bis their own system and still got asked if I had breakfast booked - tried to add extra cost for breakfast for the kids (one is a key than a year old baby) even if that was already included - the big child has an accident one night were the matress needed changing: +50 bucks... (I understand that's work, but 50? I don't know.)

Breakfast was very good and many options were presented. Rooms were quite small and lacking simple vanity sets. No internet access with a better speed was given (although some local people got it for the same price that we)

Great experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They are very family friendly, which is great. The breakfast buffet was huge and plentiful. Great selection. The rooms were in great shape and very clean. All in all a great choice.

Excellent experience! The breakfast is superb - so many options! Well worth including… now I’m back - I miss it! Staff very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for everything - trains and buses to everywhere you need to get to, and a great many attractions within 10-15 min walking distance. Very safe area (in fact Berlin in itself feels really safe). My friend was ill on the last day and they let us check out a little later which was really helpful. Beware nitpicking reviewers who find a crack in a chair, or a spot of rust on a shower head and cry about it. Sure, you may find a slightly tired corner of a room that gets used 24/7… but this is a great place with everything you need, and exceptional staff and breakfast… and it’s SUPER quiet! The only thing you might have to do as a brit is take a few teabags from breakfast and a cup of milk to ensure your tea supply in the room as for some reason they don’t always replenish it when they make it up. Enjoy your stay!
