Overall, this hostel has more cons than pros. One of the strongest points is its excellent location, which provides easy access to many of Berlin's top attractions. However, there are several downsides that travelers should be aware of before booking their stay. One of the biggest issues is the cleanliness of the hostel. During my stay, I noticed that the hostel was quite dirty, and I did not see anyone cleaning. The bed pillows were also dirty, which can be a major turn-off for many travelers. It's important to note that cleanliness is an essential aspect of any hostel, and this particular one seems to fall short in this area. Another downside of this hostel is the noise level. There is a disco located within the hostel, and the loud music can be heard throughout the building every night. This can be disruptive for those who are trying to get a good nightsleep. Finally, there were maintenance issues that were not addressed during my stay: a window was broken and could not close, but it was not fixed by the staff. This can be a major inconvenience for those staying in the room, especially during colder months when the outside air can make the room uncomfortable. In summary, If you're looking for a budget-friendly option and are willing to overlook the cleanliness and noise issues, this hostel could work for you. However, if you're looking for a more comfortable and relaxing stay, it may be worth considering other options.

The good....ā€‹The location is central, well connected and the hostel is mostly clean. The bad....ā€‹It is not good value for money, really basic, chaotic service and, in my opinion, not v friendly. And good to know....ā€‹This place is more for groups than single people or families. And it is not good value for money. You pay a lot for the absolute minimum. We paid for a deluxe room. What we get is really basic and reminds me of a school dormitory. So not v deluxe but okay, these things happen. No towels. When we ask about collecting these later the receptionist says they are not included for us and it takes a while for us to repeat that these were included on our original booking for a deluxe room. So this takes a while and the receptionist makes us repeat this in English because apparently she cannot speak German. All the while there is a massive group behind getting annoyed. Okay fine....ā€‹Breakfast is basic and actually nobody is checking if you have a ticket for it. It is absolutely not worth the price. The HygiĆØne from the guests is awful. It is full of people picking stuff with their hands or using meat utensils for cheese and stuff so watch out for that if you are vegetarian. And the coffee is undrinkable. But here is what really disappoints me about this place.... Everything is to get more money from the guest. You want to use the baggage room as it suggests you might do to store your stuff in the house rules? Unless you are in a group you must rent a private locker. So that is more money they get out of you. I have stayed in hostels in many places but paying for luggage storage? Not cool. Not all bad but I cannot recommend it (and I do not leave negative reviews often).

It was the best hostel that I have never been. Some hotel has lower standard and comfort than this hostel. The bed was really comfy and there were two contacts and a small lamp that didnā€™t disturb other roommates. There was clean the bathroom was really clean, nice and modern as like for hostel. The prices are really low. The location is perfect. The staff was really kindly and helpful. If I go to Berlin again, I will choose the same place. Remember if you are student you can get 20% off with your ISIC Card.

Had a private room with a friend. We were not able to both stand at the same time as there was absolutely no spaceā€¦. There were no shelfā€™s, closets or anything you could put things on. For the money spend we should have stayed in a decent hotel. MAKE SURE TO BOOK IN ADVANCED so you donā€™t make the same mistakes!

Jack at the front desk was so helpful and friendly! He even made us one of the nicest coffees I've has while I was there! Nicolina and Jade helped me too with recommending places for me to see. Only thing why I don't give 5 stars was a few things made it clear they prefer to make money than give guests a good quality stay here. For example the breakfast was not worth 7.5ā‚¬ and very strange for a big place like this to not invest in air conditioning for the rooms? This really brought my experience of the stay down:(

Generator is a nice hostel - the bar, cafe and lounge area are truly thoughtfully put together. It gives a feeling of a hotel and the vibes are great. However, the rooms really need some adjustments. There are no curtains for the beds which I was surprised to see. I wasnā€™t too bothered but I imagine it would feel quite uncomfortable to a lot of people. The worst part was the heat. The rooms are so hot. You walk in and it feels like an actual sauna. The windows can only open a few centimeters so it doesnā€™t really help. We had two fans in the room but they were both very obviously old and didnā€™t help unless you were quite literally so close you were touching it. Everyone in our dorm went out and purchased small fans to get through the nights, and even then it was a struggle. It was a shame because this hostel could be absolutely great - theyā€™ve nailed it all except for those two things which unfortunately feel very important. I wonā€™t be back here for summertime, but I think without the extreme heat itā€™d be great, and with some curtains itā€™d be perfect.

I reserved the deluxe king room for ā‚¬220+ per night, expecting amenities such as a desk and chair as described and shown in the pictures. However, upon arrival, these furnishings were missing. The pillows provided were uncomfortable, and there were no hand towels or bathmat. The lack of bathmat and a door to the shower resulted in water spreading throughout the bathroom, making the floor wet, slippery, and hazardous. Additionally, after using the towel once, I experienced red, painful skin rashes, likely due to residual industrial strength detergent. The bathroom ventilation emitted a foul, rotten smell throughout my stay, which was highly unpleasant. Also wifi didnā€™t work in the room. There is only 1 slow/old-school elevator in this rather large establishment, if you are not prepared to carry your luggage up and down stairs, you are in for quite a wait. In the morning, I went to the lobby cafe hoping to grab a coffee and croissant, and when I entered the wait staff was chatting with a man, and I strictly say ā€˜chatting with a manā€™ because the man was not ordering nor dining, he wasnā€™t even sitting at one of the tables - the wait staff was at all not serving a customer, but only chatting with this man. I waited at the ordering til, went closer to the chatting pair and gently signaled to catch the wait staffā€™s attention. Given that I was the only other person in the whole cafe I was certain she was aware of my existence and intention to order, but she ignored me entirely and continued to chat. After waiting for several minutes unsuccessfully, I had to leave.

I think the best part about the hostel is definitely the location. It lies within walking distance of a lot of sites in Mitte and is also right by the S- and U-Bahn stations and a Tram-stop. The lines that connect to these stations make it so you can be almost everywhere in Berlin within no-time. Check-in and -out were both very easy and quick and the staff was very helpful and nice! Iā€™ve now stayed here twice: the first time in a 4-bed room with friends and now in a 8-bed room with three of my friends and four others. The first time I didnā€™t really have any problems with the room, but the second time around I found it way too crowded. I could stow my luggage underneath the bunk-beds, but there was almost no room to properly take stuff out of my drawer. It wasnā€™t even possible at all if the other person i shared my bunk with was standing there or taking stuff out of their drawer. Luckily I knew them so it all worked out. Next time Iā€™ll definitely be taking a private room with my friends again, but this just relies on your preferences, capabilities and the type of traveler you are. Lastly, I wouldnā€™t recommend the bar. Although they played good music and the staff was nice, itā€™s just way too expensive for Berlin. There are enough other options in the city :)

Our hostel room is fantastic. The bar attached is super cool. Great vibes. Moses and Otto have been great bartenders. Definitely would come stay here next time Iā€™m in Berlin. Itā€™s been refreshing in comparison to our other hostels in Europe.

Check in was easy and straightforward. Staff are lovely. You can rent a large locker that fits 3 backpacks for 24 hours for 7 EURO. The bar is great, Jens makes a great cocktail. Definitely worth having a drink at happy hour, the staff are chatty and hilarious.

We paid over 300 euro for 2 nights, which is quite expensive, but they didnā€™t provide any essential service as a hotel should do, there was nothing in the room, everything demands extra fees, like towel, hair dryer, shampoo, there was even no cup in the room. So basically they just charged us 300 euro for beds to sleep šŸ˜€

The hostel's location was definitely a plus: really central and close to S-Bahn station. However, the rooms were really small and definitely not suitable to accommodate 8 people and they weren't clean enough! Furthermore, they will try to charge you for anything additional, like towels! Last but not least, the policy of not bringing any food inside the hostel, because of their cafƩ; simply outrageous. All in all, it wasn't the best experience and it's not recommended.

We stayed for four nights at the Generator in a shared room with other girls. Yes, the entrance and the courtyard can be very noisy especially on Friday and Saturday but the room (overlooking the street and not the courtyard) was really calm. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable enough for a hostel one. The location is perfect, right next to the Museums' island and about 15 min away from Alexanderplatz and Prenzlauer Berg. It's a great place to stay at! However it would've been great to have a kitchen in the shared space.

Very lovely stay! Room was nice and clean, a bit warm because thereā€™s no AC but it wasnā€™t too bothersome. Location was ideal. Ideal stay for young adults. Plenty of activity nights like playing board games and you can grab a drink at the bar. Nice outside garden where you can sit. The staff was also very lovely and kind! S.O to Jack for being very kind and lovely :) Definitely would visit again

We had a very nice stay here, the vibe was good and the room was clean. The location is great too! Very nice staff that really try to help you out. Be aware though that in the summer the rooms can get very hot and it can be a little noisy in the evening because of the bar outside. Other than that we had a perfect stay and we would highly recommend it. (Big thank you to Jack who was super nice to us! )

I chose this place from recommendations from Trip & Booking. The location is great! But it's taking minimalism to a repulsive level! The place is not cheap, yet they charge for soap! There is nothing that you can use put your stuff, no wardrobe, a nightstand with no drawer. The first room we tried was not clean and was reeking of sewage! The second was okay-ish. The front office guys didn't even care to apologize. The pillows are not comfortable and the king bed is actually two single beds placed together. The housekeepers only cleaned the toilet, changed the towels, but didn't make the bed or change the sheets. The cherry on the top of all of this was that it was very loud music from their bar till 1 am and no one responded to the phone call to their reception. I wouldn't stay their again, even if it were free!

BE CAREFUL! The facilities are very fine, and some of the staff are very friendly, but they omit information. After arriving at the Generator Mitte and without the possibility to make changes to my reservation without charge, I found out that the hotel forbids food from outside, because they want to maintain an absolute monopoly on food inside. How did I know? By a sign next to the elevator, when I was already inside the hostel and had already checked in. However, this is not specified neither on the website nor on the accommodation's Booking page, so that people do not have the possibility to have this information beforehand to decide whether or not to make a reservation. Although it was clear that they omitted this information, they refused to refund my booking because they said that I did not make the changes "24 hours before, as required". But of course, how could I do that if they don't say ANYWHERE that it is forbidden to bring in food? Then you arrive there, unable to get your money back, and you have to stay and spend it all to eat there so that they can keep earning, or leave and lose what you have already paid, because they are very rigorous in following the rule that changes must be made in advance, but they are not willing to indicate anywhere their other rule, the rule of the prohibition of food. I have no doubt that they omit this information so that people make reservations anyway and we get the bad news and bad experience when we are there without a solution, like an ambush. I'm glad I had two bookings at this place and was at least able to cancel the second one, to get out of that trap as soon as possible and go to a better place. But I will keep this experience in mind before I consider a Generator again in my life.

I have been staying at this hostel for approximately 10 days, and I feel compelled to share my review. Overall, my experience has been decent, but I must mention that this hostel is better suited for shorter stays of 2-3 days. Anything longer than that, and the drawbacks become quite apparent. One of the most frustrating aspects of this hostel is the inability to open the windows. Since its summer, the lack of ventilation makes the rooms unbearably hot, making it extremely difficult to get a good night's sleep. Even when I requested assistance at the reception, I was disappointed to hear that they did not possess the keys to open the windows. This oversight significantly detracts from the comfort and overall experience of staying here. Furthermore, the provided fans are disappointingly weak. Constantly having to check in with the reception for the availability of fans feels like an unnecessary burden during a trip. It would greatly enhance guests' experiences if the hostel invested in more powerful fans or provided each room with its own fan. Additionally, it is important to note that towels are not included in the room rate. To obtain a towel, guests are required to pay an additional 4 euros. On a positive note, the hostel's location is quite good, and it exudes a vibrant atmosphere. However, this advantage comes with a significant downsideā€”the noise from the courtyard. Starting from 5 pm and lasting until 11 pm, the noise levels can be disruptive and make it challenging to achieve a restful night's sleep. In conclusion, while this hostel may be suitable for shorter stays due to its amazing location and lively atmosphere, I cannot recommend it for longer durations. The lack of window access, inadequate fans and the evening noise from the courtyard make it challenging to have a comfortable and peaceful stay. If you plan on getting a good night's sleep, it might be wise to explore other accommodation options.

This is my third stay at The Generator in Mitte, and each time I stay feels like coming home. The location is perfect. There are really great restaurants steps away, a S-Bahn at the corner of the block, and the Friedrichstrasse metro station 1 stop poor a 15-minute walk from the hostel. Itā€™s only a couple of blocks from Museum Island and a lovely park. The rooms are always clean and well-equipped, for a hostel. The beds are comfortable, and the shower/bathroom is roomy. The courtyard inside the hostel is large and lovely, and the bar/cafe has everything one needs. The hostel does get a little noisy on the weekends, but that is expected with a hostel. The only thing I would prepare for is the heat in the summer. I havenā€™t stayed in a room with air conditioning, but they do provide fans for rooms, if you ask. The best reason to stay, though, is the staff. They are so welcoming and helpful. They are generous with their time, and are very knowledgeable about the city. They are always checking in with me when I pass by, asking me how my stay is. They clearly make a point to learn who their guests are and make them feel welcome. I will stay at the Generator every time I visit Berlin, if they let me!

The staff at the top, should be changed. Anna and Michel were not arranging. I plan to go to this hostel every year for 5 years in a row now as a group of 30 people for a sport event. during the COVID they were not only rude but they allowed me to pay twice for the same entire dorm, even though that was in 2020 right in the COVID crisis, the booking was cancelled I was charged entirely (borders announced to be closed), I had to book again an entire dorm after the borders reopens for the exact same dates. I talked to Michael then, it was non nĆ©gociable I had to pay again. I came back this weekend and booked a room only for myself, asked for my file to be analyzed again, Michael did not even talk or say hello to me, he spoke to his colleague and left. This place is convenient and itā€™s an ok hostel, but the staff there is stealing the customers, with no remorse. so if you hesitate to stay there be warn, they will take any opportunity to screw you up.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Amazing location! Nice staff! However I feel like the vibe is more that of a party hostel. Thereā€™s a bar with music directly in the hostel that goes on until the early hours. This didnā€™t bother me at all to sleep but I didnā€™t make use of it either :) I guess it depends on what you prefer! Had a great time over all, would recommend!

The hostel location, on Oranienburger StraƟe - an area filled with great bars and restaurants, is definitely its highest distinction, especially given the below average price you pay per night. The facilities are really modern and inviting, being a great place to hangout with fellow travellers. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms feel a bit cramped with too many bunk-beds and the lack privacy curtains on the beds only add to this feeling. The shower is not well thought-out so water floods everywhere and there isn't enough hangers or a small bench to place your things. The lack of a common kitchen is a really but turn off. Nonetheless, you should definitely pay the extra to try the breakfast, which is really good. All in all, a good stay but if I happen to be in Berlin again I'd first search for other venues.

As a group of people who are in their mid 30s we were unsure about staying at a hostel. Kasia not only helped us check-in and but also helped us with a very difficult situation with our booking (not the hostelā€™s fault). She was exceptional and even her peers spoke very highly of her (PLEASE GIVE HER A RAISE!). We were also very pleased with how organized everything was and how close it was to everything we wanted to see! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Had a great time here, rooms were cozy and pretty chill and all went well. The reception was amazing also, everyone was super welcoming from the second I walked in and they ended up making my stay pretty great. Especially Agustina, she was lovely from the moment we spoke and gave me great advice with what to do and where to go. Very sunny person who also does her job quite well. Thank u generator!

Wow! Absolutely love this hostel. Are you looking for a hostel that feels like so much more than just a place to stay? Are you looking for a hostel that guarantees one of the best social experiences Berlin had to offer? If so, this is your place! Such a nice staff and they are always so happy to help. Kai at the front desk especially went above and beyond. Emil, the bartender, took care of us from start to finish, and surpassed all expectations. After a negative experience at another generator hostel, the team at Generator Berlin Mitte has really restored my confidence in generator hostels. Whether you are in Berlin for a day or a month, Generator Berlin Mitte is where you want to be. Thank you Kai and Emil!

Stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are way too small and crowded. I know it is mixed gender, but why did they have to put me in a room with 3 men? I was uncomfortable the whole time. I wish they would consider the gender and age when assigning. The shower doesnā€™t have a curtain, so the water goes everywhere. The room was not cleaned once during my stay, only the trash was taken out. The toilet doesnā€™t have a proper toilet paper holder. It gets super hot, but if you open the windows you canā€™t sleep because of the noise downstairs. The only positive thing was the location.

This Generator is in a phenomenal location right at the heart of Berlin. Itā€™s just a short walk to view historical architecture, amazing museums, pristine parks, and the out of this world night life that Berlin has to offer. The staff is both friendly and helpful, going above the call to help in any way they can manage for you. Both Carlos and Sophie shined above the rest in their commitment to excellent service, and making me feel welcome. Carlos has very calming presence and a warm energy about him, which is wonderful to encounter after a long night out, clubbing until sunrise. And Sophie, will always greet you with a smile and do anything in her power to rectify any issue that may arise for you. The generator is aptly named as there is always strong energy of love, laugher, and friendship flowing through the halls of the well designed, eclectic common spaces. The rooms leave a little to be desired with regards to space, so if possible book yourself in a private or a 4 bunk if available. But the draw of this place doesnā€™t lie in the beds in which you will barely sleep on. Rather it lives in the amazing energy constantly flowing through the halls of this place. As a solo traveler I could think of no better place to have spent my stay in Berlin. All in all, for the price, location, wonderful staff and amazing vibes, The Generator Berlin canā€™t be beat!

More of a party hostel, i would not recommend the bed for 8 (too small/lack of space), booked because there was only this option. Thereā€™s only one toilet and shower inside, very caothic. The first bedroom they put me in, the guests simply had used all the beds, so I had to comeback to the reception several times to explain I needed a ā€œunusedā€ bed. Cleaning was also weird, the ladies just folded the bed sheets again for the next person, changing only the mattress cover (giving a new one). Reception is nice, bar is way too expensive compared to Berlin itself (drinks for 11 euros????). Good thing is the location near to train, tram and subway.

My stay was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the most helpful and joyful receptionists, Kasia and Agustina, who instantly made me feel welcome and at home. The hostel itself had a vibrant atmosphere and was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The common areas were spacious and perfect for socializing with other guests, and the rooms were cozy and equipped with all the necessary amenities.

If you want to have a good time, stay at Generator Mitte! Close to Museumsinsel itā€™s the perfect spot to discover the town by foot. The service was great! Thanks to Lukas especially for your recommendations and the great coffee. Only downside was that with the hostel being at full capacity in 30C weather it got quite stuffy and warm.

Amazing place to stay when travelling around with friends, we had a private room to ourselves. Pub crawl is a must, meet a lot of amazing people when going around. Itā€™s nice how a staff member takes you all around. Only thing Iā€™d fault is the washing machines and dryers, doesnā€™t seem like theyā€™re maintained properly. Washing machines are a bit smelly and dryer doesnā€™t dry clothes. Besides that great place to stay.

The rooms were clean and the beds were super comfortable. The bar downstairs had a fantastic atmosphere - shoutout to the bartenders! The service desk staff were happy to help us with anything we needed 24/7. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here for few days. Small but clear rooms, friendly staff and great location. Thank you!

This hostel will nickel and dime you at every step of the way. I booked a non refundable reservation where I paid in-full, in-advance. Due to the DB Bahn train driver's strike, I was unable to make it to the hostel on the day I booked. Thinking that because I ALREADY PAID FOR MY STAY, I thought there was no need to call them. Lo and behold, they cancelled my reservation and stole my money from me. I had nowhere to stay, so I had to book a few nights at a higher rate. Also, they charge for towels, soap, and even luggage storage. The bathroom lights don't turn off, which kept me up at night. The internet is extremely slow at 10mbps, even though it's constantly advertised as super fast. I will never stay at another generator hostel, as this was the worst hostel experience I ever had, and I've stayed at hostels around the world. There are plenty of other hostels in Berlin, don't stay at the one that is run by ruthless capitalists.

I booked the Deluxe King private room for 4 night in November. Now, the room was Ok, but to call it the 'Deluxe King', I'd expect a little bit more. I'll list some things that I liked, and things that I dislikes about the room. Likes: The bed was really good! And so was the shower and wifi. And I liked that there were multiple places to hang up your coat. The heater worked well, in no-time it would be warm. Dislikes: I was not so keen of the moldy corner near my bed, this needs to be looked at. The toilet paper holder missed the actual holder part so it could not be used. Needs to be looked at. I would have liked some more storage places in the bathroom. The building next to the hostel is being completely renovated. The builders start at 7am and it seems they won't be finished for a while. Keep this in mind if you are looking for a place to stay in Berlin where you can sleep till dawn. The breakfast was also good. For 6 euro you can fill up for a day of sightseeing. The location of the hostel is also petty good. I walked all over town, never used the metro or bus once.

A hostel is only as good as the people running it and the people here are fantastic. Especially, Erika and Kai, who went above and beyond to help me have a comfortable and easy 11 night stay. Highly recommended

We had the junior suite and it looked quite nice, but it was pretty dusty and a lot of things had minor defects, such as broken light spots, crooked couch legs, a stretcher that was very prone to folding up the leg end, a sliding door that's so slanted you have to push it straight to close it etc. Seems like it would just take a tiny bit of time to fix this. I was not very excited about the beds either, very stiff. Staff was very helpful and friendly though, and the location was perfect for visiting Berlin as it is right next to the U and S Bahn. I'd recommend spending your money on a proper hotel instead of a suite in this hostel if you want some proper comfort though.

It looks like a university student housing! Itā€™s a library not a bar Everyone was studying and boring atmosphere Not for people who search hostels for fun The reception stuff was rude I booked a room with 4 beds to have some space to breathe and it was too small and crowded Otherwise it was clean I will not stay again in this hostel for future

Great location, fairly clean room, comfy beds and enjoyable common space for a ciggie. One small downside - a bit loud due to the location near the street. Overall super happy with this choice! šŸ«¶

Stayed there for 5 Nights a couple of weeks ago. Other than the really nice Erica at the reception there isn't really anything to compliment. So thanks Erica for all the water refills and the great tips ;) Prices were not great but not bad either. The rooms could use a bit more frequent cleaning.

The location is perfect and you can easily walk to many attractions in the city but also public transport is right in the corner for those who do not want to walk. The staff was really friendly and helpful to whatever we needed. The room was just what we expected, basic cleaning but in a good way. I would definitely recommend this hostel to everyone.

Overall great experience. Pros: Albert at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Cheap and really has everything you need right here. Con: There is one one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel. Rooms are always a little muggy and hot. Front desk is always short staffed and sometimes one person does the coffee shop and checkin.

Absolutely deplorable experience, room changed once due to our room not being cleaned to discover a worse room with mould on the ceilings and wall accompanied by layers upon layers of dust as seen attached below. I would highly recommend avoiding other reviews corroborate my experience would not advise any to stay.

Good place. Clean. Nice social area however shuts at 11pm. Bikes to hire for the day for Ā£12 is the best way to explore the city, highly recommend.

I know the brand quite well and when I travel to Europe I always prefer this one. I had already had a pretty nice first experience at Generator Berlin Mitte, the staff at the time was very warm, and the suite was perfect. Nevertheless, this new experience was particularly unpleasant, the staff was particularly rude, and the cleanliness was not really there. We ended up leaving after one night. Never again.

PROS: Location is perfect Stuff is nice CONS: The entering corridor smelled bad because of the bad airing in general. The room was very small for the number of beds. I was barely able to move to get to my bed. The room wasn't clean and super hot with no proper airing because the windows cant be opened. You can just tilt them. They provided 2 fans which were not enough for the number of beds and weren't functioning and making a lot of noise. Will never stay there again.

Great facilities in this hostel it is very clean and has a nice bar and cafe attached, staff are nice and location is good. However, We stayed in a private room for 4 people. It was extremely small for 4 adults. In our room there was standing room for maybe 2 people at a push which made it quite difficult to actually live in.

Bad experience in the room; there is a lack of maintenance, none of the bed lights were working, and the locker under the beds made scratches in my luggage because they are poorly constructed. The worst was the ventilation; almost no windows could open, and nearly inexistent space to walk/dress-up inside the room.

  • 1/5 Marie van den E. 1 year ago on Google
Terrible. I slept in a mixed dorm & I have changed rooms twice. The rooms were extremely small, very unpractical and the sanitary was gross. Way too expensive. The only nice thing was the location.

  • 4/5 Ankit T. 1 year ago on Google
The hostel is really good. I would say its a 3 star hostel. The construction is old fashioned and certain facilities are not modern. But they are well maintained.

Rooms are clean. Location is great. Lots of large tour groups stay here so it can feel very crowded at times. I forgot my sunglasses at the bed one morning on my way out and they were gone by the time i returnedā˜¹ā˜¹

I only spent one night here because of a quick trip. Once you enter this building thereā€™s you wonā€™t have any reception on your phone and the internet at the hostel is quite slow. To rent a towel you pay 4 euros which I found a bit pricey because is rented and you can get a cheap towel in any store for that price. Thereā€™s no fridge or microwave for guests and no food from outside is not allowed, just what you can buy at their own restaurant which was a problem for me because I follow a special diet and I had my own food. Lockers at the reception are available for X amount of hours (you choose), I had the small one for 24h for ā‚¬5. You can also storage in the room, you have to bring your own lock or pay 5 euros for one at the reception.

A very nice hostel, with a contemporary style. Super close to the city center, to the Museum Island, to Alexanderplatz... Many restaurants and cafƩ in the area. I've been there for a few weeks while I was looking for a house in Berlin and I could easily work with my laptop in the common areas of the hostel

Mainly I would say the staff is more than amazing in my opinion. Unfortunately I only got to know 1 name which is Sharon. Such a lovely person, extremely friendly, and knows exactly what to do to satisfy a customer. Thanks for such an amazing experience more than one time I been there. Hopefully in the future Iā€™ll be lucky enough and able to come back. Much loveā¤ļø

Brilliant hotel, really affordable and filled with great staff who show a lot of interest in making sure everything is working out for you. Personally Iā€™d like to point out the service Nicolas, Agustina and Sharron have provided for me and my friend whilst we were travelling. Located in a wonderful part of Berlin and good facilities on site.

The staff is very nice. The place is very cool and a great location. The girl that checked us in was so helpful, donā€™t know her name sadly but she gave us so good service, and Agustina gave us cups when we asked for it. Very good experienceā¤ļøā€šŸ”„šŸ«¶
