Caution!
(Santi-Trocki
purchase)
Unfortunately,
my
experience
with
buying
drysuits
(Santi)
from
Mathias/
Tauchfan.de
can
now
be
rated
as
very
negative,
so
I
would
recommend
that
you
go
to
another
dealer
for
this
particular
issue.
Since
a
detailed
description
of
the
defect,
including
photos
and
an
additional
legal
review,
did
not
lead
to
the
suit
being
withdrawn,
the
matter
was
ultimately
taken
over
by
a
lawyer.
Despite
all
efforts
to
find
a
good
solution,
Mathias
has
now
let
the
last
deadline
pass
without
any
reaction
(head
in
the
sand...),
so
that
a
lawsuit
is
now
being
filed
and
we
have
to
go
to
court.
(as
of
January
17,
2024)
The
approach
of
supporting
the
small,
friendly
shop
and
wanting
to
buy
a
beautiful
new
dry
suit
(along
with
a
wide
range
of
accessories)
with
great
anticipation
unfortunately
now
results
in
a
lot
of
effort,
waiting
and
shaking
of
the
head.
Nobody
needs
that.
Background
for
those
interested:
After
a
long
drive
(almost
6
hours
in
total)
I
was
there
to
get
advice
from
Santi
about
a
new
dry
suit.
The
personal
appointment
was
preceded
by
an
extensive
email
in
which
I
communicated
very
specifically
my
ideas
and
needs
regarding
fit,
material
and
intended
use.
Finally,
Mathias
took
measurements
to
ensure
the
best
possible
fit
thanks
to
Santi's
free
measurement
change
option.
Theoretically...
The
first
contact
made
me
initially
confident.
Mathias
personally
made
a
very
nice
and
professional
impression.
However,
immediately
after
the
deposit,
things
went
downhill.
Questions
were
only
responded
to
after
repeated
reminders,
although
some
questions
were
simply
not
answered
at
all,
also
despite
repeated
requests.
After
I
had
to
wait
significantly
longer
for
the
suit
(a
quarter
of
a
year!)
than
Mathias
had
once
advised,
the
surprise
was
big
-
unfortunately
not
in
a
good
way.
The
suit
is
cut
either
way
too
wide
or
way
too
tight
in
several
places
and
clearly
doesn't
fit
my
body
measurements.
It
was
so
tight
in
the
shoulder,
arm
and
back
areas
that
I
couldn't
even
safely
reach
the
valves
to
be
able
to
react
accordingly
in
an
emergency.
The
attached
boots
are
approx.
4cm
too
big.
The
seams/patches
on
the
inlet
and
outlet
valves
are
also
not
glued
cleanly
and
protrude
from
the
suit
material.
This
has
nothing
to
do
with
Mathias,
but
rather
questions
Santi's
workmanship
quality.
But
my
criticism
is
more
about
the
reaction
to
it
and
the
possible
lack
of
willingness
to
take
proper
care
of
it.
Regarding
the
poor
workmanship,
Mathias
recommended
that
I
simply
send
the
suit
directly
to
Santi
in
Poland.
They
would
then
take
care
of
the
repairs...
After
waiting
for
a
quarter
of
a
year
and
with
such
a
high-priced,
brand
new
product,
I
have
a
different
idea
of
a
solution.
Regarding
the
wrong
suit
dimensions,
I
should
just
travel
to
Berlin
again
to
“look
at,
document
and
discuss”.
Apart
from
the
unreasonableness,
it
is
also
pointless.
Everything
is
already
documented
in
detail;
photographed
and
the
suit
is
(at
least
for
my
body
measurements)
impossible
to
save
in
this
form.
Since
August
2023
(over
five
months
to
date)
I
have
not
held
a
submersible
suit
in
my
hands
nor
have
the
money
back
in
my
account.
Whatever
(personal?)
reasons
there
may
be
for
not
wanting
to
deal
with
the
matter
adequately,
in
my
opinion
it
still
doesn't
justify
treating
your
customers
like
that.
I
wouldn't
wish
such
experiences
on
anyone
-
so
I
would
like
to
share
them
here.
