3/5 Antwyone' I. 6 years ago on Google
Coming
from
NYC,
I
was
skeptical
of
trying
this
shop
out
but
I
shuffled
through
reviews
and
nothing
seemed
alarming.
While
I
wholeheartedly
respect
what
Ebony
&
Ivory
is
trying
to
do,
by
bringing
a
very
African
American
barbershop
culture
to
Berlin,
it
falls
short
of
hitting
the
mark.
Atmosphere,
nailed
it.
Aesthetic,
nailed
it.
Barbers,
be
weary.
Mr.
Q
cut
my
hair
and
while
he
seemed
to
grasp
me
communicating
to
follow
what
I
currently
had
(a
skin
fade),
it
was
a
slippery
slope
as
soon
as
those
clippers
hit
my
head.
I'm
not
going
to
be
thorough
in
my
elaborating
of
the
hack
job,
but
I
wore
a
hat
the
remainder
of
my
time
in
Berlin.
In
his
defense,
I
feel
had
I
requested
"even"
all
over
and
not
a
fade,
he
would've
done
a
terrific
job,
but
blending
isn't
his
forte.
I
don't
doubt
his
skills,
just
keep
it
simple
in
your
requests.
Staff
is
friendly,
they
accommodated
me
without
having
an
appt
and
the
shop
was
clean.
Get
some
solid
barbers
in
the
chairs
in
Ebony
&
Ivory
and
it
could
really
take
off.
The
young
lady
to
the
immediate
left
of
Mr
Q
gave
her
client
a
tight
fade,
and
her
client
prior
looked
great
too.
Other
than
said
haircut,
it's
a
nice
spot,
just
needs
better
talent.
